getting the site back up to traffic levels

What is the best way to market this site, get it out there? We are 3 years out from when roosh starting his frog boiling process of getting rid of game, then travel, then politics, then secular talk, and then his monk journey, torpedoing a very effective forum for comradery, internet influencing, chicks, finances, politics, etc.

I found out via the swoop forum. What other pua forums still exist. What political nationalist groups would be privy?

Gameruprising forum, 4chan, reddits? Given the name difference, we could probably get around big tech censors or even google algorithm manipulations.

Marketing a site and getting traffic is always tricky, never easy. The ad industry is very big for a reason.
Maybe we should focus on getting the current lurkers to post? Possibly by creating controversial threads that heat people minds and make them wanna respond.

As far as I know, the other active pua forums are:
- STW
- Skilledseducer
- SoSuave
- Some subreddits, I guess.
- Some facebook groups?

Maybe sending private messages to people who know could be interested in RVF.network could help.

I think swoop is our best bet for easy wins. also, we can create new general threads that show recent activity and have add-ons.

I wonder if updated reports from swoop could be posted here in the respective travel forums.

I dont think we can advertise, but creating a thread there should be adequate.

Feel free to do some marketing wherever you want. Keep us updated on it Wink
Do it the way you wish, personally I think that it is best to make your message look like a friendly tip, such as:

"Hey everyone, I know a lot of you might look for the RVF archive, so here it is: .... please share it, many people will appreciate to be aware of it."

This way it doesn't look spammy, or like a bad intention post.

On my side I will send private messages on sosuave, skilledseducer and STW. Sending a ton of PMs seems sketchy but we have to try something.

That's technically possible but that would require a lot of work and a messy implementation.
If STW is ever gonna close, I'd merge it here.

Your post on STW made a big spike of visitors  Big Grin
But they are still paranoid because pussysniffer was one of the first poster here...

Posted there last night. Still think we could update the forum datasheets here with information there?

At first I though you were speaking about automatically grabbing the content from STW to put it here. Now I'm confused .
You want to put information from STW to this forum from the datasheet? You mean simply copy pasting some posts?

My traffic promotion strategy is working over on RooshVForum DOT com with my alt sock accounts.

Quote:Can you imagine being addicted to creating hundreds of sock puppet accounts on RVF, and being repeatedly banned, for years?!

That is so pathetic.

The moderation sucks. But it is easy to take over the site. Like me give my perspective after doing quite a few trolling raids....:

There is like only one other active moderator other than Roosh, I believe his handle is DanielH.

DanielH most obviously is based in the United States. I know this because one night I was on a trolling spree and DanielH was nowhere to be found.

From about 2AM or so Eastern to about 6AM eastern I controlled all threads that were showing up on the front page of the site. Whatever threads you want can be bumped and you can post to your content. This is because both roosh, and DanielH presumably are based in the United States.

Additionally they have a moderation tool that makes it easy to remove all traces of posts by one user, and I'm assuming they have the ability to use it by searching email domain.

The obvious solution to our promotion problem is to to role play as guys looking for women, or advice on dating women, and then having other socks say that they got the info from roosh's old content. Then the obvious value drop is to mention that certain people have Roosh's old content.

Curiosity will get the best of them, and you'll see new viewers.

You can also go on active threads, post a comment, then come back, up to 59 minutes later then edit the post, which decreases likelihood that it will be censored/ removed as not following rules.

The obvious idea here is to coordinate a so-called trollstorm and while that is ongoing, have someone undertaking a mission using alt accounts posting our info, or subtly dropping it on other threads that are not being trolled, thus our valuable posts will stay on the forum while the mods are busy removing the troll content all morning.. The next day people will see the breadcrumbs left on the threads we targeted...

Another idea, while unethical will be effective, however i'm not condoing it. We create accounts for all the most active users on Roosh V forum and start role playing as them here. At some point they will get angry and it will spillout all over the Roosh Forum. It's easy to impersonate Roosh V forum users because you just steal their profile pic and create an account here..

Another idea would be to go aggro:

Register a site called Rooshvfacts.com and we pepper it with photos and bombastic content about him gleaned from info on him.

Call him a beta, red pill denier, basement dweller who went too deep down the autist rabbithole. With enough effort on this site alone, it will show up near top of google rankings and in turn help promote your site as long as you have a linkback on the page in quesiton.

A final thought is to change your forum theme to the exact same one as Roosh, it makes it more likely he will directly have to address the question that there is a site floating around the internet that looks exactly like his and has a ton of the same content, and seemingly users. At that point he's forced to explain, and protect his brand from the pretender... us....When you're playing the guerilla marketing game, you have to force your opponents to say your name. That is what drives traffic!

Postscript: if you're an active user on rooshvforum.com after like 100 post reactions you can post external content in your signature, the obvious idea here is to link to content on this site (maybe with a URL shortner) that matches the content roosh v forum users would be looking for in forum posters signatures. IE, "gaming women abroad", "finding christian women", "making enough money so you can live abroad" and stuff of that nature...

Props to the creator of this site, I have so many happy memories from old Rooshvforum, so thanks for all you do, and keeping the memory alive.

We can also necro-bump any thread on rooshv forum that looks interesting or engaging from years ago, to change what content people are engaging with... anything pertaining to pickup, or foreign travel, will change the daily posting environment over at rooshvforum.com .

What would also make roosh furious and generate further content engagement would be replying to his posts on Twitter with our preferred content, or whatever. He doesn't use twitter much, has a decent following and never engages with content. An easy way for us to get more exposure.

I think it's a good idea. That could be done on rvf.com and other pua forums.

Are you sure that the trolling is necessary to keep the link to rvf.network longer? Deleting a post just take one click. I'm unsure that you can overflow moderation's capacities with just some trolling.
You have some weird fetish about trolling and alts accounts dude  Rolleyes
I think they also banned the posting of "rooshvforum.network", it will automatically rewrite it as "[banned domain]" last time I tried. Of course we can use url shorteners.

I don't want impersonations here. rooshvforum.network is already on first page of many search engines if you search for "rooshvforum", we get a lot of traffic from search engines.

He already acknowledged us, but he subtly changed the URL: https://www.rooshvforum.com/threads/bewa...cks.42153/
I was sending new passwords for old users so they could directly login here. I think only Papaya came, but never posted nor lurked much.

I like those 2 ideas.

Just to resume what we could do:
  • role play as guys looking for women on rvf.com, then subtly dropping a link from another account. Possibly on other forums too.
  • necro-bump threads on rooshv forum
  • Putting some of our content as comments on his tweet. How would you formulate the replies?

I also have another idea:
  • Creating facebook accounts and sending friend requests to many people orbiting around the "manosphere". I've a few interesting profiles that may have good leads.
  • Doing the same on twitter.

On which one do you think we should focus first?
