New thread on Roosh

The ultimate test of a post-Roosh/nü-RVF forum is whether it can discuss Roosh and keep a thread open on him. Swoop failed hilariously at this, opening multiple threads because the braindead admins kept closing them despite it being blatantly obvious that that was the one subject everyone wanted to discuss.

OMG ONE OPEN THREAD ON ROOSH WILL DESTROY TEH UNIVERSE

So let’s talk about Roosh. Not for one day, one week, or even one month.

Forever.

Let’s just keep a thread open on him, indefinitely. He deserves it, and the internet deserves it.

Personally, I can’t believe what he has become and what his community has become. In my 25 years on the internet I have never seen a man and a community being so thoroughly destroyed.

It’s basically a mini-re-enactment of Europe’s descent into the dark ages. If you wanted to see what it is like to go from the glories of Greece and Rome to a bunch of retarded monks whipping themselves in their cells, you got it. That is the power of Christianity, and it’s the same online as off.

As for the (inevitable?) Renaissance to this digital dark age we’re in, will it be this forum?

It all depends on me and you, and on our gracious new host!

You might be interested in the interview by Delicious Tacos.  He was a part-time writer who wrote funny stuff about being a horny sex addict with a fairly normal career.

http://www.hooverhogblog.com/2019/05/29/...ed-to-die/

n 2013 I wrote a story called “Autopilot” and realized I could actually be a “writer” in some sense. Not long after that Roosh wrote a fictional story called “Patricia’s Smartphone” that even anti-rape activists admitted was interesting. What if we all blossom into real artists, I thought. What if this “movement” takes its honesty about sex and love and turns it into something good. Years passed and I’m the only one who did this. Everyone else is shilling merch or bashing Jews.

PUA turned into neo-Nazi politics because PUA tactics stopped working. There’s no “game” in the age of Tinder. Your picture’s hot or it isn’t. I’m lucky to have lived through OKCupid. You could be merely OK looking and type words into a keyboard and girls came out. Guys still ask me how to get laid. I tell them move to the Philippines.

I visited the link because your quote sounded interesting. The top part of the page is terribly overwritten by the interviewer and I couldn’t stand it so I skipped it. Further down, in the interview itself, the interviewer is again verbose and boring, so I just read the replies. These started out okay, but eventually deteriorated because the guy is the kind of weak introvert I can’t stand, and I can see hints of this in your quoted part. When he says game doesn’t work because Tinder or go to the Philippines to bang ugly low-IQ females, I know this person is the bottom of the white race settling for scraps. When he started talking about his OCD as a child, I closed the browser tab.

Not saying he has nothing to offer, but someone else will have to fish it out and show it to me, because I have real geniuses to read and don’t have the time. It doesn’t seem terribly relevant to the Roosh thread anyway.

I think what he did was overkill -- vaporizing rich philosophical content, user experiences with women, and even the deletion of city data sheets was asinine and reckless. I know in my life, that employing some of these strategies got me laid a few times, and learning how to deal with women is increasingly becoming harder to find solutions to. "Games saves lives", indeed. It has helped me avoid problematic situations as well. So big ups on you guys bringing back the archives.

That's the part that bugged me the most. He created a community that took a life of its own and decided to kill it because of a change in perspective reality. The original forum reached millions of people and I'd say helped a good amount of them. Does his new forum have the same impact? Doubt.

Shame what happened, but we can only move forward so let's make this place poppin

If it doesn't fit, force it... If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

Unfortunately this forum won't come anywhere close to the original, we are entering the age of zero privacy. Too many guys have learned their lesson from blabbing on the last forum. I hope we can make it a better version of the previous one though, in a different way.

Also, the game industry is somewhat dead these days and people are becoming more and more boring, nobody seems to drink anymore and nightclubs and popping bars seem to be becoming a relic of the past, at least where I am.

In addition, it looks the the world is heading for a big economic downturn, WW3 is on the horizon, guys in Europe especially are not going to be travelling as much - they are too busy wondering how they will pay their gas and electric bills, and watching their currency turn to mush. There is also nothing close to virgin territory for unspoiled virgins, at least in Europe anymore. The best bet is probably Belarus and Russia, but I doubt many of us want to go there at the moment, and even if we could having an "Unfriendly passport" is not so cool with Russia at the moment

When I look back to previous posts on this forum a tear wells up in my eye, because I see the old me, the guy in his prime who didn't give a fuck and was having some amazing experiences. I am trying to get back to half the person that I was back then, but at the same time realising i'm ten years older and can't behave like that anymore.

I think what happened with Roosh, and what has happened to me, is that we both hit that age where game just wasn’t meaningful anymore. Trying to get together with yet another girl we met at the bar and having empty meaningless sex with a drunk girl just stops becoming fulfilling after a while.

Roosh had a hard landing: He had his conversion experience, became for all intents and purposes a monk, and is now falling down a bottomless pit in to conspiracy theories. Rational people doing well in life plain simply do not question whether we landed on the moon in 1969, but his forum is now a cess pit attracting those kind of conspiracy theory believers.

I had a softer landing: I hit that age where I got sick and tired of chasing pussy, so married the hottest girl I could find who would fuck me, and started a family with her. Marriage is hard, but we pulled it off and I am a family man these days. Because we’re in an era of rampart cancel culture, I can’t describe my current life in any more detail, lest I get doxxed by the woke mob.

In a day and age where it’s getting harder to marry and harder to start a family, Roosh could had kept the forum more open. Nuking the travel section archives was uncalled for. Removing naked pictures of girls or descriptions of girls? Yes, that needed to be done. For the record, no one to the extent of my knowledge ever posted a naked picture on the Roosh forum of a chick they pulled where a face or tattoo was visible; faces and tattoos were always blurred out in pictures, and the girl’s privacy was always respected. But removing the game and travel forums altogether? That took things too far.

There are a lot of young men out there who just do not know how to get together with a girl or start a relationship, more young men than in previous generations. The PUA culture of the 2000s saved me; I would still be like my friends who never found (or actively rejected) PUA, old and childless, if I had not found game and relocated to Latin America, where getting pussy was (and looks to still be) easy for a white guy like myself, as long as one has the basics like physical fitness and logistics down. For the record, you don’t have to be Chad Thundercock to get pussy using Tinder, as long as one is in a place which isn’t a Woke wasteland. There are places out there without Wokeism where girls are easy and love to fuck, yet I must somewhat agree with Roosh: We have a better society and a better world when the sanctity of marriage matters.

He sounds dumb, like most PUAs, here's the best summery of the whole manosphere: https://culturewhiz.org/forum/topic/what...manosphere These guys were never successful with women. Tinder just removed low-hanging fruit lol

Blah blah, from its inception, game industry was a cesspool. It just took quite some time for the enthusiasm to wane. The only remaining people are dumb, boring losers who must pay for it. Times have never been better for me.

Lol, the forum was full of lame virgins spinning ridiculous fairy tales. Roosh dated perhaps one or two women per year. Thus, I see why he moved on. When you're actually appealing to women, you don't have to do very much work. I just say a few words and women are jumping on me.

Roosh was great because he was all in, probably part of his Middle East background, always zeal. I actually was pretty open to the conversion to Christianity. The rump part of the country was moving in that direction--the Bible is codified and can't be pozzed. However, Roosh, as usual went overboard and torpedoed his whole influence and presence online.
I recall his article on the self-centeredness of Bhudism, however, his quest to know God better is just as self-centered and completely apart from the world. He killed what the establishment could not.

Roosh had too much interplay with his own community which ultimately warped him in a bad way. Surely it drives one's ego.

I'm active on RV forum and in the past year I've gotten like 10 different bans, at least, for just arguing with people, nothing more. The moderation is unbearable and now there are women on there, which make the whole experience even worse. The rules are also way more restrictive, and although everyone says it's banned to talk about black pill/ nihilism, basically every other poster is posting about it. It is a strange community and feels like being a member of some sort of self-contained orthodox religious sect. More dogmatic than any other previous iteration of the Roosh forum.

How do you get back on after being banned?

You register with a VPN or TOR using a burner email service or other burner email of your choice and then there is insta-activation via an email that is sent out instantly.

To avoid getting banned, be slow to post, do not engage in politics or the dedicated orthodox/religion threads.

This is the key fact: make sure your forum handle says "Orthodox"... Not "orthodox inquirer", not "orthodox catchemen" or whatever. You have to fly under the radar by LARPing as an orthodox. This is the only way to avoid quick bans or dog piling from other retarded members.

That's all it takes.

DO NOT ARGUE with women, ever. And do not engage in any conversation pertaining to religion. And most importantly, do not let yourself enter into a prolonged exchange with a black-piller. It will get you banned so fuarking quickly. Since every other person on there is black pilled, it is very hard. Often times you get banned for winning an argument, saying that you're "argumentative" or too "emotional".

Darn, that bad. It was bad about 12 mo. ago when i was banned for calling out roosh's spiritual journey as self-centered and being a monk is an inner journey which espouses the outside world and caused the destruction of the community and his influence, a large influence that could not be destroyed by the establishment, but by his obsessive complusive personality meets a particular brand of Christianity. Even the early Christians functioned in the world--Crusades, farming, etc.

Idk using black pill rhetoric is not allowed but everything leading up to that is... so in effect the site is a black pill forum.

In the future I will be role playing on Roosh Forum as a woman, they get way more latitude in emotional responses/ outbursts and Roosh V men but forum women (ergo, fake), on a fucking pedestal.

Roosh yesterday wrote an article on how to date a woman in the church, and the guy doesn't even date! ROFL.

An Orthodox religious sect would have more range of topics...

How are black pillers allowed on the site? Why are the two women on there special?

In the future I will be role playing on Roosh Forum as a woman, they get way more latitude in emotional responses/ outbursts and Roosh V men but forum women (ergo, fake), on a fucking pedestal.

Nothing mentally wrong with this guy at all  Shy
