How did you find Roosh?

The year was 2016, and I was in a bit of a low place. My news addiction was getting really bad. I was extremely addicted to low quality tabloids, British mainly. One day in early '16 I get confronted with an article about a "Pro-Rape Advocate" by the name of Roosh V on Facebook--almost certain it was from the Daily Mail--, holding "rape meetups".

Now, I wasn't a social media savant back then, so I don't have any of the grace and poise that I have now. But somehow some dumb feminist I know (who I actually had a crush on then), started yelling about Roosh on her wall, and so, what do I do: I investigate the guy like a well-informed white male. Needless to say I didn't think Roosh was a rape-advocate.

The next part of the saga is her and her social media friends threatening to ruin my life because of my bigotry. I said something to the effect of, " I don't think Roosh is pro-rape" given the statement he made. This was also the time I decided I was done with facebook.

If there is a punchline to this saga, it would be that I became red-pilled because of the free media roosh got; it was feminists yelling at me that caused me to investigate a guy I had no interest in, in any meaningful sense prior.. Defending some random guy on the internet caused me to think about what he was advocating and lead directly to my conversion. And so, he got a loyal supporter because of media outrage.

How did you find Roosh?

I discovered Roosh, because of his books on certain European countries. I hit a low spot the last few years. But I am on the rebound. I know he maybe still wants to be married or have children. But his past is on his mind. But I know that he can change his destiny. There is still a chance. I have a feeling that he is supposed to. But it was not the right time. He had to go through some things to make him who he is today. In one of his videos, he called himself a degenerate. But that is not true. He talks about the bible. So I would tell Roosh to read the book of acts and meditate on Saul of Tarsus. The man that sent jews and christians to slaughter was chosen by God to be his vessel and one of the great heros of faith. God created all of us. We are not gods. But we are creations of God. People are born with great potential and abilities. We have free will. But God also has a purpose for each person. Roosh might think what he did in the past is not so great. But I have a feeling that God meant it for good. Just have faith, search for your purpose, trust in God and he will run towards you and show you what you were really meant to do in life.

How did you find Roosh?

I was backpacking around South America in 2008. I went into an Internet cafe to research why Argentinian girls were giving me issues. His rooshv website was the first result and I read his Argentinian girl game tips.

I came across the DC Bachelor blog because I live in northern Virginia. I remember in particular an entry he wrote about gaming on the Metro, and about meeting dates at Busboys and Poets in the District.

I think I had Googled, “getting laid in Philippines” and was led to this great forum.

I started reading the Game, Life, and Travel sections but gradually got interested in the Politics section and the commentary on our cultural decline.

I greatly use this forum to add proper perspective to the news that the MSM shits out.

Through the Travel forum, searching Google for where to get laid someplace I was going (I think Taiwan).

I got my Magnum condoms, I got my wad of hundreds, I'm ready to plow!

2008ish, reading Roissy in D.C.'s blog. Found my way to Roosh's blog and would stop by every few months or years and go on a blog reading binge.

I'm just now taking game seriously, though. My twenties were mediocre, mostly buried myself in a job I hated and a relationship that ended amicably in February. Still fuck my ex occasionally. 1 new girl since the breakup. Nearly finished reading Bang then onto Day Bang and Game. Currently 31 years old.

I actually discovered Roosh through the Everything Else forum. I was looking for some place on the internet that was not afriad of talking about the true stuff without scrutiny. I was on the mainstream sites so I only saw what the surface censored places were saying. Then I found this place and noticed how freely you can discuss anything without being attacked. I knew I found my Men's Club.

I stumbled upon ROK through reading pickup websites. Lurked on the forum for about a year before finally taking the plunge and signing up.

This is exactly how it is supposed to work.

Opposing the feminists will never convert the feminists, it will only lead to free publicity from the feminists, and from there, the open minded and the curious who are not hardcore SJWs, take a look, make their own decisions, and end up deprogrammed.

I found him in the early days, before 2010. I'd already acquired the proficiency in game that I desired, but I was impressed with his political/sociological analysis he presented, and he hasn't disapointed since.

I found him in 2010 after googling how to get Brazilian girls because I was going to visit some friends in Brazil.

I discovered Roosh on The Rational Male. The tip about The Rational Male I got from one of the older RSD videos.

How did you find Roosh?

By way of National Review. I used to read the NRO Corner, and liked John Derbyshire’s writing. He was eventually fired from NRO for noticing things. I was listing to John Derbyshire’s podcast one day ( Radio Derb - I still listen every week) and he mentioned a blog by Heartiste who was a good writer and covered the national question well and was also a PUA. I had recently discovered PUA and sought out Heartiste’s blog. Back then he used to link to RvF a lot. I wasn’t interested at first, but after awhile I found RvF interesting, joined, and have been addicted ever since.

Take care of those titties for me.

Nice guy throughout middle school and high school...made attempts at girls, but got nowhere.

Go to college, looked up “how to get a girlfriend”...found Roosh V

Rest is history...

From Stacy McCain, who is a conservative but loathes PUAs for some reason. Probably due to his faith.

How did you find Roosh?

2012 is when I first heard of Roosh via his regular travel book A Dead Bat In Paraguay which a friend recommended to me. It was a YouTube review so I never really took it with a pinch of salt. He kinda laid dormant for 2 or 3 years until I looked him up again and decided to tentatively read his blog about foreign women. I never really had a problem getting laid AFTER I lost my virginity and marriage was more and more important to me than getting laid so I ignored a lot of his game pieces. However now that I'm thoroughly detoxing from internet game I think could use him more.

Private Man was giving a talk at the 21 convention and he mentioned RUUSH and I googled him; I have never found anyone who knows women better than Roosh. Anyone here, I encourage you to check out how the Private Man passed, the first person I encountered who faced death in a special way.

How did you find Roosh?

There is already a thread called How did you end up in Roosh V Forum with 11 pages.

I was also hooked in by the pro-rape coverage.
