I was fired from work

There is some very good advice and comments in this thread. The only thing that I will add is to always keep your smart phone device locked down with a password . Several years ago, I made the unfortunate mistake of keeping some work related notes on my phone concerning a former employee of mine and I used this to really vent my true opinions about this employee in a very blunt and brutal manner. One day I noticed that what I wrote down had suddenly disappeared and this happened a second time.

A few days later I was then tipped off by another colleague that the employee in question had gone through my phone and saw what I wrote down about him. The employee indirectly confronted me about my comments, but he couldn’t take it further up the chain of command without admitting that he went through my personal phone. This put me in a very dangerous position and I had to be very careful with my dealings with him from that point forward. Several months later this employee was fired for a serious matter involving the police and allegations of sexual harassment that turned out to be true involving other employees .

Like others have mentioned here, keep very detailed notes about issues like what’s been discussed here. But, keep those notes in a safe and secured location so they can’t be seen by others. I did on my phone and I made the mistake of leaving my phone at my desk and unlocked. I survived this incident, but this could have blown up on me big time.

I opened an email the other day and thought I was being fired. A wave of relief swept over me. That was some powerful shit. I realized I wasnt being fired before I had time to give a shit. I definitely dont want to get fired right now. Ive gotta get my finances in order.

One thing I hate about the Northeast US is everyone pluralizes Walmart. It's not Walmahts.

That's all I have to contribute to this thread.

Actually I am turning 36 years old. That was my first time to work in Walmart

OP why are you working at Walmart in all seriousness? Do you enjoy the people-watching that you get to do in the aisles? [Image: blush.gif]

The reason why I started working there, well I am extroverted type. Not just that, I liked maintenance mostly because I worked with my hands and was able to interact with people. Just being honest.

Well the good news is, since that was my first time to work in a big corporate like that. I learned my lesson. I just got hired at another place, that is smaller, and ran by all male managers and they are all mature. I did tell the guy who hired me what happened he said he always hated Walmart and showed me some articles on how much the store managers make a year and something about bonuses. I was shocked because the store manager Kim in my area obviously is a dishonest person, she is making 175,000 or more a year! We were suppose to get a bonus like most Walmarts are suppose to do but this year she was ripping everybody off and a lot of good employees are getting fired or quitting.

So after the things he told me, I did some research when I got home, 55% or more of Walmart employees are female, 53% of management are also female or more...… What was I thinking..... [Image: dodgy.gif]

However based on some of the advice I was given in this thread. I do plan to start my own business on the side. So thanks for any advice given.

Naw that's bullshit. In the modern faggot ass work environment you can do absolutely nothing wrong and be targeted forever. Not having the right politics, one off handed joke at a lunch break, criticizing the offices pet 7/10 thottie when you have to do her work for her. You would be surprised. A lot of these jobs are busy work jobs that shouldn't even exist.

If you work in some gay SJW office environment I advise not talking to anyone about anything that's not about work. Do your work and do it well. Go to lunch alone, only attend the (seemingly mandatory) office Christmas parties - do it with a date, don't drink, and leave early. HR departments are filled with rabid feminists, faggots, and people looking for a reason to destroy you, your career and your livelihood. They do it for fun and to justify their jobs through manufactured drama under the guise of preventing lawsuits and loss. 85% percent of their jobs are gossip.

That said OP sounds like he fucked up in some way and doesn't realize he needs to at the very least keep his mouth shut, ideally actively not engage with anyone about anything that's not work

Or just start your own business, whether offline or online, and you don't have to deal with any of that.

If you read the stuff written in this thread ...

- having to pretend for 95% of your week (at work) you are someone you are not
- having mentally and physically unhealthy people in charge of other humans in a workplace
- having to keep a written record of your work life in case someone tries to get you penalised, or fired from work

... is it any wonder that the health of society is at the disgustingly low level it's currently at and it's fragmented beyond belief? It sounds like the start of a gulag if you read that description without knowing it was the description of modern working life in any Western city.

In what reality should you have to go to a place where you are owned (because you have to work to live), lie to get ahead or lick some value-less bosses' asshole to get a promotion, and then likely come home to a place where you are owned (most people are paying rent or paying off a home loan)? You can even get penalised in workplaces these days for outperforming your role (Torridon's description above is pretty accurate for I'd say 98% of white collar jobs).

Now that I'm getting towards financial independence, I'm utterly disgusted at how dependent the education system makes you when it spits you out, and how far behind the ball most people start in life if they want to claim some independence over their life once they start working as an adult in these devastatingly toxic environments.

I'm also surprised at how any red pill type man can tolerate it and work for an employer these days (but I respect everyone's differences and priorities in life at the same time). I personally wasn't able to tolerate it and had to get out and figure out the self employment/contractor thing.

GT speaks the truth. Many workplaces are becoming intolerable for normal men due to the shifting culture. White collar workplaces are being filled with unqualified women promoted to jobs they have no business being in and hyper PC NPCs who will make you unemployable if you say one single thing against their leftist cult. Then you have other coworkers who are zombies, alcoholics, depressives or toxic gunners who will sabotage you for a leg up.

I remember when I graduated college how weird and dysfunctional everyone seemed at my first job compared to my college classmates. Workplaces naturally do strange things to people because you're trapped with the same people you may or may not like for 8 hours every day and you're all fighting for a little piece of power. Combine this with toxic PC culture, diversity-quotas, #metoo, student loan debt and increased autism/anti-social behavior and it's becoming an increasingly hostile situation for men.

In the near future starting your own business will really be the only option for sane, self-respecting men.

^ Wow just wow! I just jotted down a couple of ''work incidents'' from some foul shit my females co-workers have done - just from the last 3 days - and this Shit is therapeutic! Every man working in a female dominated environment MUST ABSOLUTELY DO THIS. The anxiety literally flew outta me by jotting down a 3 Day Recap! I'm ecstatic since I'll be doing this shit daily now! And while not being a Shakespeare, I'm a decent writer... and by simply stating the Truth, I make my co-workers && leaders seem like they were spawn outta Satan himself! Sweet! As long as I stack some $$$ aside... I'm Gold if anything Happens!

What GT said about having to pretend to be someone you’re not at work 95 percent of the time is sadly true. I find myself in this position with many of my work colleagues. If they ever found out what my real views are on a variety of subjects that we discuss here, I would be hated and accused of things I am not. In today’s ultra left wing PC culture, you have to be very cautious of what you say or discuss at work , especially if it’s somthing that falls outside of the current left wing PC views.

I look at how Roosh and others are being taken off of other platforms because of our shared views here and it makes me realize that it’s going to get worse as we approach the next presidential election. Another thing that we need to be careful with is if you ever have to deal with Human Resources Deparments. Human Resources departments today remind me of the old Soviet Union.

Back when the Soviet’s were around every military unit had an assigned political officer and his job was to keep track of that units members political views and if a members opinions fell outside of the official governments approved views, then that soldier was sternly dealt with.
This is what Human Resources departments do today.

Yep you damn right! I'm not even a Trump fan (still can't wrap my head around how one can become POTUS without political experience but hey), but I respect the hell out of the man for being a Billionaire... and a Hollywood Star on his own term. Just for that... I literally had a colleague do a complete 180 on me! And we're both Black... so Trump Trumps Race in This Case! [Image: tongue.gif][Image: tongue.gif][Image: tongue.gif] Haha!

I handed my notice in yesterday after getting sick of an overly-controlling new female manager. Very liberating, just gonna take a few months off to travel and reassess. It's hard to do my job without working with a lot of (Western) women.
