FAVOURITE DRUGS in order to improve your life

I tried a bunch of drugs in my early twenties - primarily amphetamine and cocaine plus a fairly large variety of ecstasy pills, LSD (once), mushrooms (a handful of times). While I don't regret my experiences at all, none of these drugs served any other benefits than being fun and delivering some awe-inspiring sensory experiences. Even the "spiritual" LSD and mushrooms really only take your mind in the direction it already wants to go - I don't believe anyone is seeing actual gods, their spirit animals or whatever the hell they believe in. Your sensory and intellectual experience (if it's a good one) merely support your beliefs.

The downsides to taking drugs every weekend for months were heavy. Losing a lot of weight, fitness levels dropping to those of an old man, compelled to eat a lot of unhealthy shit when trying to recover after 40-70 hours of no sleep, 40-70 hours of no sleep, looking psychotic to outsiders not on drugs (not particularly important to me at the time, but in hindsight thinking about how a group of over-amped amphetamine loaded young men and women were having "deep" and endless conversations at high speed was surely not nearly as awesome as we ourselves felt it was), watching friends having actual paranoid psychotic episodes, watching other friends some time later slumping their lives away for years with hash and weed (drugs I never cared for myself and only tried a few times).
Thankfully I simply got fed up with it all and quit and took a long break - actually a permanent one in several cases - from my friends who were still doing drugs.

Just a warning story to people reading this thread curious about drugs, specifically psychedelics/MDMA

Use these drugs with the respect they deserve! They will fuck you up down left and right if you don't

I discovered LSD a few years ago when I was 16. Used it sparingly at first, a few times a year. Did MDMA once in a blue moon. Eventually these drugs filled the spiritual void in my soul and I began to use them too frequently.

Had a few nights where shit went absolutely off the wall.

Today, before the age of 20, I am a completely different person. Still not sure for better or worse in the grand scheme of things.

My point is online you will read so many retards saying that psychedelics are perfectly safe if you don't already have schizophrenia or take too high of a dose. Use psychedelics very sparingly, and be aware that even still they are very very powerful

MDMA is a completely different beast. Sure, it's fun. But my God this shit makes you stupid, and makes you feel burnt out months and months later.

Thankfully I'm sober from drugs now (except booze/nicotine). Life is good. Just be aware, you must be careful, you are fucking with some incredibly powerful shit. You might just open Pandora's box...

Word to this man. Word to this. I also took LSD and smoked weed tons ages 16+, I am also exactly your age right now. LSD was the best and worst thing i ever did in my life, it gave me a lot of psychological problems like psychosis (luckily temporarily). On the other hand, after I took it I was never the same. My mindset went next level over anyone my own age.

I started to hit the gym, I got a job, I wanted to lose my virginity, I wanted to go to Latin America and fuck a big booty Latina. And I did it. I don’t think there’s a coincidence that me and you share similar experiences and both took it, that’s where I extract the positive side.

Right now I pledge to never take psychedelics again, cos once was enough, I stick to alcohol in moderation and once in a blue moon Coca Cola. The drugs which have actually improved my life currently are creatine for gym and the mind as well as zinc.

It definitely unlocked a mind set in me that enabled me to do some amazing things with my life. LSD taught me that even in my worst times, there is beauty in the struggle.

But even with all the positives it brought into my life, the negatives balance out the effect it's had on my life. Whether or not it has been a benefit to my life, I honestly can't determine. It's like a red-pill: do I want to go crazy seeing the way this fucked up world really is, or live in blissful ignorance?

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

I'll add a little to this: I think a lot of the problems associated with drug use are actually caused by lack of sleep. Alcohol fucks with your sleep/you are also probably staying out late and disrupting your sleep patterns. Caffiene fucks with your sleep. Obviously stimulants prevent you from sleeping. And a lot of the side effects we associate with tweakers are actually just symptoms of not getting any sleep for several days. Weed stops you from dreaming--so obviously it's having some effect on sleep. Even drugs that help you fall asleep might not be giving your brain the kind of sleep it really needs to function at 100%.

I don't think I need to get into it here but there are other threads on the forum about the importance of sleep to your overall cognition, mood, depression, fitness, testosterone levels etc. For me, even just having mildly altered sleep patterns for 2-3 days causes me to start feeling much worse. So ideally, if you want to use drugs to improve your life, you also have to balance that with getting proper sleep, or be willing to take the hit.

Drugs are extremely beneficial in my opinion so long as you don’t do them often but you do do a huge variety of them. Few people actually have the brain chemistry and discipline to do that. For instance, everyone can benefit from and suffer zero negative effects from a good stimulant boost for a night when you need to bust out lots of work at once. But the second you do it regularly you’re hurting yourself.

And I find that lots of people have an idea what drugs are as if drugs are just the things that have something in common with coke, molly, heroin and meth. “Hard” drugs. But there are hundreds to thousands of drugs with completely unique effects and everyone’s life can benefit tremendously by using the right ones.

Anyway, favorite drugs for me (and coincidentally the first three drugs I ever tried):

1. 3-MeO-PCP (by far)
2. 2C-B
3. 4-HO-MET

LSD and shrooms are cool and kratom and phenibut are great work enhancers, but nothing comes close to the drugs I just mentioned. People who don’t know shit about drugs generally love to say that there are “real” drugs and then there are designer drugs that barely mimick the effects of real drugs. But 3-MeO is the most versatile and “perfect” drug on the planet and outclasses its “real” counterparts ketamine/PCP so much that if it weren’t for lack of education 3-MeO-PCP would replace all dissociatives in terms of recreational use (same goes for MXE).

2C-B is in my opinion the best sex drug on the planet—not even LSD comes close. I’d argue molly doesn’t get there either. And 4-HO-MET is the most visual tryptamine I’ve ever encountered. Totally outclasses mushrooms for me personally.

Psychoactive substances are the most misused, misunderstood, and misapplied technology we have. I respect that a lot of mature people have to write off drugs as a concept so they can keep control of their lives. That’s the right decision for them because street drugs have high potential for sucking you into the dingy “lifestyle” of them (and that’s on account of the culture/lifestyle around them as much as their inherent effects). But I’d ask those guys to not carry those personal choices over to an assumption about the utility of drugs generally because there’s a lot more going on.

FAVOURITE DRUGS in order to improve your life

Warning about side effects from Steve Martin:

Quote:Quote:

DOSAGE: take two tablets every six hours for joint pain.

SIDE EFFECTS: This drug may cause joint pain, nausea, head-ache, or shortness of breath. You may also experience muscle aches, rapid heartbeat, and ringing in the ears. If you feel faint, call your doctor. Do not consume alcohol while taking this pill; likewise, avoid red meat, shellfish, and vegetables. O.K. foods: flounder. Under no circumstances eat yak. Men can expect painful urination while sitting, especially if the penis is caught between the toilet seat and the bowl. Projectile vomiting is common in thirty percent of users-sorry, fifty per cent. If you undergo disorienting nausea accompanied by migraine and raspy breathing, double the dosage. Leg cramps are to be expected; one knee-buckler per day is normal. Bowel movements may become frequent-in fact, every ten minutes. If bowel movements become greater than twelve per hour, consult your doctor, or any doctor, or just anyone who will speak to you.

You may find yourself becoming lost or vague; this would be a good time to write a screenplay. Do not pilot a plane, unless you are among the ten per cent of users who experience "spontaneous test-pilot knowledge." If your hair begins to smell like burning tires, move away from any buildings or populated areas, and apply tincture of iodine to the head until you no longer hear what could be taken for a "countdown." May cause stigmata in Mexicans. If a fungus starts to grow between your eyebrows, call the Guinness Book of World Records. May induce a tendency to compulsively repeat the phrase "no can do." This drug may cause visions of the Virgin Mary to appear in treetops. If this happens, open a souvenir shop.

There may be an overwhelming impulse to shout out during a Catholic Mass, "I'm gonna wop you wid da ugly stick!" You may feel a powerful sense of impending doom; this is because you are about to die. Men may experience impotence, but only during intercourse. Otherwise, a powerful erection will accompany your daily "walking-around time."

Do not take this product if you are uneasy with lockjaw. Do not be near a ringing telephone that works at 900 MHz or you will be very dead, very fast. We are assuming you have had chicken pox. You also may experience a growing dissatisfaction with life along with a deep sense of melancholy - join the club! Do not be concerned if you arouse a few ticks from a Geiger counter. You might want to get a one-month trial subscription to Extreme Fighting. The hook shape of the pill will often cause it to become caught in the larynx. To remove, jam a finger down your throat while a friend holds your nose to prevent the pill from lodging in a nasal passage. Then throw yourself stomach first on the back portion of a chair. The expulsion of air should eject the pill out of the mouth, unless it goes into a sinus cavity, or the brain. WARNING: This drug may shorten your intestines by twenty-one feet. Has been known to cause birth defects in the user retroactively. Passing in front of TV may cause the screen to moiré.

FAVOURITE DRUGS in order to improve your life

Lately all I've been doing is ranting about drugs and I'm about to do it again.

I appreciate you posting those experiences because that seems to be the most common "drug experience" out there. Especially regarding heavy back-to-back stimulant use (which should always always be avoided, even if in the case of adderall).

Drug use is most often confined to piece of shit people predisposed to commit crimes and take the same drugs daily so their brain receptors never get a break until they finally get locked up or go to rehab. And their decision-making is so fucked up for so long that they fuck their lives up.

But that experience is hard to attribute to drug use itself. I think it's more likely that the people around the drug lifestyle give you a misunderstanding of drugs--namely that you can use them constantly with no consequences--and that drugs is a thing in and of itself to do rather than a supplement to the conscious experience of your life.

That happens to so many people because once you start exploring what drugs do, you're confined to people who already do drugs, which is as I already said disproportionately piece of shit people due to the legal scheme around it.

There's other ways to use drugs. Drugs, even hard drugs, are way less inherently dangerous than they're understood to be. Lots of the government studies showing the dangers of these drugs conflate uncommon side effects as inevitable across users, extrapolate dangers where little evidence of those dangers is present, and even study the wrong chemicals in an effort to support the bans. Hate to use the word "propaganda" but it really is propaganda. It's meant to tenderize your opinions and generate support for the most fucked up regulatory scheme possible.

I was introduced to drugs in a unique way and from there I 1) experimented with their effects alone and in private or with close, close friends experimenting with me who I trust as motivated good people, 2) took long breaks between uses, 3) figured out which ones I can handle and which ones have no purpose in my life, 4) created a log with the app Evernote so I know exactly when and how much of every drug I do (even weed), and 5) create a drug schedule (one that actually works--not like GLL's dumbass kratom strain cycling where you do kratom every day of the week).

Doing it this way also requires access to a large variety of substances few people know about. Doing it that way improved my life in a variety of ways. Very, very moderate benzo and red vein kratom use got my sleep cycle regular again so I was naturally waking up very early and sleeping very well without the dependence on those drugs to do it.

Phenibut, modafinil and kratom improved my work flow and productivity greatly and cycling through them with tianeptine kept me far away from dependency on any of them (since then I've gone cold turkey off all of them just to test it out and I found and find no observable negative effects). Opiates like O-DSMT relaxed me when some external thing came up that would have wrecked my anxiety and gave me precious time to put things in perspective. Microdosing LSD and doing 3-MeO-PCP were steroids for game and creative thinking.

Doing 3-MeO gave my spirituality context, was a great pre-workout (I mean, great), was a great hang-out drug, a pain-reliever that absolutely blows kratom and any opiate out the water, and in smaller doses made it easier for me to deconstruct boxing and muay thai moves. Sparring on 3-MeO made the experience a lot more educational. And of course psychedelics like LSD, mushrooms, etc. made sex amazing and put my life in perspective when I needed it.

I'm not saying all this to sell people on that kind of lifestyle because most people don't have the resources or time or willpower to commit to something like that. But people should be aware of the full spectrum of drug utility so they can have a well-rounded understanding of the issue.

I'll disagree with that to an extent because psychedelics definitely seem to take the user out of the experience the higher in dose you go. Drugs like LSD also do not have a tendency to push you in the direction you're predisposed to go at all. It can happen like that, but that is not an inevitability of the drug. In fact, lots of people have a hard time with LSD because it is super psychoanalytical. If you're really loaded on acid, it will refuse to let you look at things the way you want to look at them if it doesn't make sense or has some ethical problem. The framework for that analysis becomes less and less "your own" the more you do, until you get to the point that the things you think and see are so foreign that you couldn't find that imagery in any culture, any previous art, anything. It's just not human at that point.

Of course once you come down off the drug, you forget the true gravity of the effects and feelings and dumb people will after the fact pick and choose what parts of the experience were "dumb." Some things sound like a good idea while tripping that aren't a good idea after the fact, but how much of that is truth taken out of context because your brain is trying to fit the psychedelic experience into a framework of this world? For example, if you had a profound acid trip that revealed light moving in wiggles and in straight lines at once, when you come down (and assuming you're a New Age type person), you'd probably either interpret that as something about the duality of your "light energy" and the negative energy is the wavy energy being "disturbed." Or you'd say that's evidence everything is a slow vibration. Or you'd look back on it and say that's fucking stupid. You probably wouldn't have interpreted that as a revelation of the indeterminacy of photons. Assuming that latter was the actual revelation, you can see how the actual trip might be causing real revelations that misguided people later synthesize in flawed ways.

Drugs like LSD and mushrooms put your analytical power into high-gear. That has to mean it will bring you to conclusions that challenge your previous understandings and break off your preconceived notions of life, family, friends, yourself, your place, etc. One of the most common anecdotal reports from LSD is people breaking down crying because they realized how they wronged the people in their lives or weren't good enough and find new appreciation for life and their role in it. That is not merely supporting your beliefs.

It might be easy to dismiss psychedelics as producing pretty colors and little twist on your analytical thinkings. At low doses, that is what they are. But at doses where the drug really takes hold of you, the things you see aren't cute anymore. You can't say they just show you what you've seen or already want to see at that point. When you get to the point where you open your eyes and don't see shit that's actually in front of you and you're effectively blind and paralyzed, nothing you're seeing is even close to anything you have ever seen or ever will see until you die. Really, the visual distortions of psychedelics can be seen as simply two worlds overlapping with the underlying world appearing at different degrees of transparency depending on the dose. It's not easy to explain and it's nothing to fuck with.

TRT has been a boon, honestly got me dialed in, even with crappy diet and gym habits. Those are coming next but I can already feel a difference. Actually considering going on a full cycle in between dr checks when I get diet and gym dialed back in to accelerate getting back into my old shape. Caffeine is a life saver, and I've always considered having some snow around for extra curricular and as bait to get some interest back at my place.
