Orthodox priest cleanses streets with holy water after gay pride parade

This is based, though in the West we may be at the holy flood stage.

Quote:Quote:

An LGBT pride parade took place this last weekend in Odessa, Ukraine. LGBT pride parades are not particularly noteworthy these days.

But what happened after the parade this weekend is: an Eastern Orthodox priest visited the parade site and cleansed the space with holy water. (Pictures below!)

The head of the Missionary Department of the Eastern Orthodox Diocese of Odessa Fr. Oleg Mokryak led the cleansing, with help from a group of laypeople. Together, the dispensed holy water on people, the road, and on monuments as they walked, explaining to onlookers that they were specifically cleansing the area following the LGBT parade.

Holy water has long been a powerful sacramental used by Christians. St. Teresa of Avila attested that “from long experience I have learned that there is nothing like holy water to put devils to flight.”

I would like to see that happen more in America, but I think the balls of most Christians and Catholics have been cut off. The only religions making more action tend to be muslims, satanists, and jews. Imagine that.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

This brave Orthodox priest should pack twelve bottles of holy water, and generously sprinkle it at a quarter of the EU parliament: thread-50837.html

Interesting by the way, if I am the one to say so, to read this old forum thread of mine, from 4 years ago... Notably, the last post reminds us that the Left has actually succeeded, through lyin' Mueller and "muh collusion", in blocking an alliance of Conservative, "anti-gay" presidents.

Take this and multiply 10,000X. That's where we are headed.

I bet you'd see a hate crime case thrown at a priest that did that in America. No joke.

Ask your bishop, priest, and pastor to do it. See what they say.

We need a new religion. We need modern prophets and a modern belief structure.

Which means we need a new, genuine, verifiable connection with God.

Let's do it.

I think something stronger than Holy water is needed to purge those streets of what a pack of queers carry everywhere they go but its a start.

You sure would. By creating groups of "protected classes," Americans essentially created a new set of clergy, against whom we now "sin" by committing so-called hate crimes. Such crimes can be something as innocuous as accidentally saying something they don't like.

When you put someone in a protected class, you're essentially putting them in a station above you. You're saying their lives are worth more than yours. Previously we only did this with clergy, politicians, and cops. Now we do it with entire minority groups.

Laws aren't just laws. They mold the way we behave socially. These laws have changed the way people feel about people from other groups. All of that has been FOR THE WORSE. One look at college campuses will show us that.

Minorities look for any and all transgressions to score social brownie points or take revenge on whites (or straights). Meanwhile whites walk on eggshells -- or avoid minorities altogether. We're now more alienated from each other than ever. It's BECAUSE of these laws. They didn't help people get along. They did the opposite.

Years ago, when you sat beside a woman or a black guy at work or a gay guy at school, that's all it was. But after the passage of hate crime laws, you're sitting beside a nun or a priest who has the power to shame you and deem you a public sinner and wreck your life.

Hate crime laws spelled the end of the concept of real equality. They will also spell the end of America someday. That day may be someday soon.

Ciao!

Nope. It happened in Chicago last year and the priest is fine - legally. He did get death threats and was removed by his Bishop, but no hate crime charges. I think he went into hiding for a while too.

I'll say it again. If anyone wants to see this stuff in the US, then organize a group in your parish and go to your pastor. Fight the homosexual cabal from the bottom-up! Normal parishioners find this gay stuff disgusting and will support it to varying degrees.

Note: There is a lot more degeneracy to this story than the Orthodox one. However, you can still find a priest willing to do this if you bring it to their attention.

Parishioners of Resurrection Parish in Chicago, Illinois, held a rainbow flag-burning event last week, cutting up and setting on fire an LGBT flag that once hung in the sanctuary at the parish's first Mass. The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 29, the Feast of St. Michael and the Archangels, but the Chicago archdiocese — heeding complaints by gay activists — called the pastor, Fr. Paul John Kalchik, and ordered him not to hold the event. A handful of parishioners took things into their own hands and decided they would burn the flag themselves.

They did the whole iron urn over a drain too. This was a legitimate exorcism.

EDIT: Full backstory and aftermath for priest here. Way too long to quote: https://www.theamericanconservative.com/...te-martyr/
