I'm curious. How do you guys react to such women in everyday life. Roll your eyes? Nod your head in false agreement? I'm in Thailand. They don't exist here.

Have sex with them, or not. Soft-next them if they start causing drama. Let them buy me stuff.

The top comment right now. We'll see how long they leave this one up. [Image: lol.gif]

Yes, some of the top comments there on YT are actually worth reading.

"My wife's boyfriend loves Converse!"

"The Vietnamese slave workers would love to live in that shoe"

"My wife has two wonderful boyfriends, and both of them love Converse!"

"There was a woman who lived in a shoe...she had 200 cats and a box full of poo. meow"

"Every time a company makes ads like these I beat my wife."

YouTube comments are probably the most compelling feature about YouTube. They will certainly go down in history as some of the most important cultural relics of this crazy time.

I cannot stand this obsession with girls these days going around everywhere and calling each other queens.

Or how "badass" they are for merely having a vagina, when the sum of their total achievements is being a nail bar manager and managing to pop out a couple of kids.

There should be a generic thread about Wokevertising because it's reaching epidemic proportions.

It's a marketing play. Women empowerment is just the latest sales tactic fad. I wouldn't put too much thought into it. But I can see it's hard for some when it's in your face like this and it's giving women a false sense of importance. Apparently, offending the opposite sex is a non-issue for these corporations.

I only buy what's essential for everyday living. I buy what works, never what's sold to me through an ad. I could care less.

Slightly different. I am not completely sold on the "go broke" aspect of "get woke, go broke". It didn't work for Captain Marvel, for instance. I think the "go broke" narrative may be wishful thinking. I'm afraid rather than just a passing fad that this is literally "generation (W)oke".

I never liked this shitty brand. In the early 90s the all star model was popular among kids around here, both the original or similar from other brands. Remember having one of these, using them once and they sucked to play soccer/football in the street with my buddies, went back fast to the good old adidas.

Yes. This.

After the economy went to shit Men collectively went under with women now having the majority disposable incomes with gay men holding the top. Women are getting majority of the new jobs created. Women, now, for new positions earn more than men (they don't the tell you that as it didn't fit the wage gap nonsense). Women are the majority of new graduates as well. Plus, women dominate marketing and advertising and we can guess that Senior women who are leading many of these corporate accounts are doubling down on this gender mess as the typical old white dudes and boomer-cucks in suits who run these corporations, are scared little shits and will gladly toss the company overboard to not make any women upset. This perfect storm has created the advertising hysteria we see today where it seems every corporate entity has chopped off thier balls too appease "mah wahmen".

But, all things are cyclical and women are slaves to whatever is popular. Once men with normal testosterone and thier balls attached becomes cool again women (hopefully) will have back in-line and these Corps will hopefully die off from being far too deep in chasing skittish women and their dollars. Women are all herd animals. I'd never bank on anything concrete with women aside from the fact that they will change thier minds always and have no real values (they take thier values from the external world, I find most women stand for nothing aside for standing for themselves).

One example to illustrate this shift I mentioned above is the jewlery industry. This is a post I am working on but in brief the industry is shifting from advertising to men to drop big money on thier GFs/Wives buying them jewlery to now pushing "empowerment" for women to by jewlery "for thier damn self" almost as if buying inflated possible blood diamonds will make her feel more strong and whole. The industry has tossed men aside as they don't have much money these days and can't eat the costs. But, they know the women have tons of cash and will always burn 70% of thier income on consumption no matter what.

The good news is a (slow) shift appearing is that many are calling out the "pink washing" as many suspicious people are noticing the corporate hacks are pushing pink for profit. Converse pays women pennies in Thailand or Bangladesh but tried to push some dubious trope of being all about the pink, it's easy to see the hypocrisy in it all.

I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show. I'll definitely rethink buying my 3-year duration Chuck's that I always replace on that timeframe. I'll go get Vans instead as they don't seemed SJW'd out as of yet.

Why do products marketed to men denigrate, abuse and insult them (Gillette)

But products for women kiss their ass?

Men are more brand loyal versus women. Men will blindly buy the same Gillette razor they have done for decades. Men will stick with a Ford if they have drove them and don't know much or any better. Only when dealt with brand failure, major product change (quality or price), or finding a semeless equivalent will men switch. It had to take a complete dumpster fire from Gillette to get men to wake up from thier consumer coma. Gillette has been making a fool of men for a long time now but it took an epic fuck up for men to take notice.

Women will dump brands if they feel the hue of pink is too much. Women will line up for made in China trash if they see Kylie Jenner using it. They change with the wind and loyalty is defined to them much different versus the steady and true habit of a male consumer. They constantly shift their habits and tastes for brands which is why marketing and advertising to them takes the lion's share of money versus men.

The trusted and true nature of men comes back to bite them in the ass when in the waters of corporate consumerism. The corporate whores take men and thier money for granted and men put it up with it sadly until they reach the brink. The one bright spot is men, when they protest, will outright reject brands and bring them to thier knees. Women say all this same but then get distracted by some other shiny thing a week later and fotget. Gillette is still likely bleeding market cap and once a man has decided to dump the brand he won't go back back. Good. Fuck Gillette.

Ford is facing similar backlash after taking government money and flooding plants to go make cars in Mexico. Same situation as the corporate fools take for granted that men will still get a new truck from them every few years. Many men have proclaimedmed they will very purchase or lease Ford again and that the company can go fuck itself off to Mexico entirely.
