Wondering if anybody has experience in marketing to women, specifically with IT products like apps, websites and other digital services?
I'm working on a personal project with a partner and getting a lot of interest from men, but our service requires both men and women using it to succeed.
I've gotten some feedback from women, most of it being based on feels in the moment (big surprise), and the only useful bit I've managed to deduce is that they would never use anything their friends aren't using.
Based on that, my first instinct is to run advertising campaigns with an "all your friends are into it" angle, designed to make the viewer feel like they're missing out, but I'd have to invest a lot in a/b testing (which may be inevitable anyway).
