DC has the thinnest women of any "state" in the country (within each race).

NYC women are also thin, with lots of hot models and actresses, plus tons of broke women in publishing, the arts, and nonprofits. They dream of finding a single, white, educated professional man who can afford an apartment with an elevator and doorman. Most of the Wall Street guys are taken by their college girlfriends and wives.
DC has loads of women with mediocre degrees and secure government jobs. Often their parents pay their rent. They sit at work making museum, embassy, and happy hour reservations online. They think this is equivalent to challenging degree and real career. And they are right. DC has plenty of educated men with moderate six-figure incomes.
The difference is that NYC doesn't have enough Wall Street millionaires for all the hot models. So it is like musical chairs where women must jump on any seat available. Attractive women know that they need to look their best and be nice if they want to see your again. Otherwise you might match with some models on Tinder. Frumpy average women in DC feel no urgency or desperation, as though they can wait until age 30 or 35 to find a man. Meanwhile they can comfortably support themselves and don't see fierce competition.
Plenty of thin women with long flowing hair and nice skin and features are online. You will not meet them in bars or nightclubs because DC is geographically Balkanized, and women won't drive from the suburbs into DC. Baltimore women are more receptive.
Women in other parts of the country are nicer, but many are overweight. Roosh complained about fat DC women for years until he finally travelled around the U.S.
