FACE AND LMS - What are your thoughts?

A "black pilled" youtube channel called "FACE AND LMS" has made some controversial youtube videos on the theory of lookism.

His theory is that looks supersede game, and that the dating game has an order. He use's biology, and other evidence to support his claims.

I believe some of the things he says, but sometimes he's too theoretical. The real world and a theoretical world are two different realities. This world isn't a theoretical place. With that being said....

I believe any man that want's to be a successful player. Things like looks maxing, body maxing, plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, genitalia enhancement, steriods, testosterone injections, and etc. Will take you a lot further than "game" ever can. Don't get me wrong, social dynamics are important. But one caters more to the self interest of a woman, while the other will cater to the ego of a man.

In this modern day and age of social media, dating apps, foreign dating sites, and etc. the average woman in her prime is flooded with unlimited options. So how many options will 8+ women have?

I wanna hear your thoughts. Tell me, what do you guys think?

BE the best looking guy you possibly can and if your game is tight then you shouldn't have to worry. A healthy in shape 7 with game, money, frame, and fame can easily pull some of the most beautiful women.

The biggest key is true confidence. Alot of guys look ay better than they think but when they approach women they tend to sound and look weak. These men then go on and say it was their looks when in reality they turned out to just look insecure.

Being a late-blooming player starts from the inside WHILE working on the outside.

Been following FaceandLMS for a while. In general he's right (looks should be a priority over game), but he exaggerates many of the claims and uses anomalies (and reality TV) to support them.

What I think the main point should be is that, in this hypergamous world and in a world where Tinder and Instagram are getting more popular, looks are quickly becoming more and more of a factor, and many old-school guys in the community just haven't been able to keep up with the times.

Looks are obviously very important and ultimately beat any other quality, but as someone has articulated before (I think it was Roosh), game is a way to cash in on your sexual market value. In this sense, game is actually a transversal aspect of a man's personality - it mediates looks, intelligence, wealth and social status. Without some game, you will not realise your potential.

To exemplify: I was a late bloomer. I had my first sexual experience in my 20s. Nothing changed in me physically, but after I finally woke up and became more forward with women, I had a series of sequential bangs. I wasted a lot of irrecoverable time - my teens, my early 20s - being a shy idealistic kid. I wasn't ugly, I just had no game.

The lookmaxing guys pushed to far when they start talking about a surgery called Lefort III.

It's one of the most gorsih surgeries out there. There is a video of it on youtube..I couldn't watch it till the end.

Most people aren't attractive, I certainly don't see men looking like those models in the video pic.

So for the 99% of people that don't look like that, what do you suggest they do?

Threads like these are for people looking for excuses, improve your body, bank account, status and whatever you can improve. Learn game, whether it be online, night game, social circle game or day game and improve yourself.

But before you do all of that, improve your mindset.

There's some truth in Face and LMS but don't let it get to your head and blame lack of success because you don't have certain aesthetic features. Social skills, humor/wit, style/grooming, status, killer instinct, are still key.

Also these theories pertain more to 1st world countries than 2nd/3rd world where you consistently see really average looking guys with 7 or 8 HB's.

Exactly. People watch these videos so they can give themselves an excuse.

I was skinny and not attractive. What did I do? I upped the calories and went to the gym. My jawline is weak and not masculine like the videos. So I grew a beard. Just those two things alone have dramatically increased my looks factor. It would be an exaggeration to say I don't have things going for me (height, blue eyes, shredded physique), and I'm not pulling 8s on a regular basis but I am pulling them.

I always use the NBA as an example. Yeah, being tall makes it easier to succeed in the game, but you see plenty of tall mofos not putting in the work and having lackluster results. The difference between Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins for instance.

Wiggins is more athletic, faster, and has more overall raw talent than Jimmy Butler. But Jimmy Butler easily outworks him, and look at the result.

The same is true of game. You get what you put out. If you're half assing it and blaming your failure on not having superior looks, you're missing out on opportunities that persistence alone will afford you when your talent alone will not.

Love his videos. He has an amazing voice I agree with a lot of what he says. However, his stuff, like a lot of ‘Incel’ dogma is too rigid. It’s as if people are machines and that the outcome is mathematically certain. I have seen plenty in real life that flatly contradicts F&LMS’s assertions.
Yes Looks are important. Probably the most important factor in getting women. But. If one lacks looks, one is not doomed. I see plenty of unattractive guys with women daily.
There is a lot of wisdom in his videos. But don’t take what he says as an Iron Law.

Here's my overall philosophy on this.

Before you start working on game, make sure that

-you aren't morbidly obese
-you actually groom yourself and don't look like a literal homeless person
-you have a steady income stream and aren't close to flat broke
-you have learned basic social skills and are familiar with how to actually make friends and how to keep them

you do not have to do any of these before working on game

-you don't have to make yourself look like a male model, though obviously that would massively help
-you don't have to obsess over looks like what many incels do
-you don't have to get rich
-you don't have to be massively popular
