I’ll go to Tim’s in a pinch but prefer McDonalds for quick coffee. I’ll never understand our country’s obsession with that mediocre coffee, I still think that they line the rims of the cups with nicotine to keep folks coming back.

I was on a road trip in Canada a few years back and before I got on the bike in the morning I went to Tim's to get a coffee. It's foul stuff. I couldn't drink it.

Normally I drink my coffee black or with a bit of milk, but even with milk and sugar I couldn't choke that crap down.

I don't much care about this issue other than how weak it makes Trudeau look. He's in a no-win snafu.

He so obviously hates Trump with a passion and loves China with all his heart (admires the basic dictatorship, look it up if you don't believe me), but his own government has been forced to side with the US government on this matter. He can't outright side with Huawei (which is basically doing the bidding of the Chinese government) without looking like their lapdog and endangering our trade relationship with the US further and he now won't be able to shake the fact that his government basically had to do Trump's bidding and make the arrest.

I'm enjoying it.

President Trump should remember that China can play hard too. A former Canadian diplomat has been detained in China, and his current employer, the International Crisis Group, has said it is seeking his prompt and safe release.
Michael Kovrig’s detention comes after police in Canada arrested Huawei’s chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou, on 1 December at the request of US authorities, a move that infuriated Beijing.

1) That is such a typical woman, that she would sell out her own family just to save herself. However, that degree of self-servingness is common amongst many Chinese. However, even in this case, the Chinese need to implement Asian Sharia to make an example out of her since they should know better than to trust a woman at such a high level position.
2) There is a story that I remember listening about Chinese culture and the Chinese people's fealty to their superiors and it goes like this:
The emperor and his entourage passed by the house of a hunter and they were hungry. The hunter, noticing the emperor and his entourage, was honored by their presence and paid his proper respects. Then one of the emperor's entourage asked the hunter to cook a meal for the emperor and his friends. The hunter looked far and wide for prey but he could not find any; however, he was successful in proving the emperor and his entourage a nice home cooked meal. The emperor and his friends were impressed by the hunter's hospitality and rewarded him for his service. Now, can anyone guess how the hunter got the meat since he was not able to hunt for any? Well, I will put it to you this way, he found a good use for his wife after all!

I am definitely sure that Trump knows about the Chinese and their ways and he has many tools at his disposal to deal with what the Chinese can throw at him.

Ron Unz posted a great article today on his site about this whole affair. He suggested China can retaliate by fucking with Sheldon Adelson's casinos in Macau. Also called out Canada for being America's bitchboy.

Ron Unz, the editor in chief of ‘The Unz Review’ branded as A Collection of Interesting, Important, and Controversial Perspectives Largely Excluded from the American Mainstream, has came up with a great idea to avert World Conflict with China and how the PRC should retaliate by targeting Israeli pedophile mobster Sheldon Adelson's Chinese casinos.

Quote:Quote:

Consider the arrest last week of Meng Wanzhou, the CFO of Huawei, the world’s largest telecom equipment manufacturer. While flying from Hong Kong to Mexico, Ms. Meng was changing planes in the Vancouver International Airport airport when she was suddenly detained by the Canadian government on an August US warrant. Although now released on $10 million bail, she still faces extradition to a New York City courtroom, where she could receive up to thirty years in federal prison for allegedly having conspired in 2010 to violate America’s unilateral economic trade sanctions against Iran.
Although our mainstream media outlets have certainly covered this important story, including front page articles in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, I doubt most American readers fully recognize the extraordinary gravity of this international incident and its potential for altering the course of world history. As one scholar noted, no event since America’s deliberate 1999 bombing of China’s embassy in Belgrade, which killed several Chinese diplomats, has so outraged both the Chinese government and its population. Columbia’s Jeffrey Sachs correctly described it as “almost a US declaration of war on China’s business community.”
Her seizure on obscure American sanction violation charges while changing planes in a Canadian airport almost amounts to a kidnapping. One journalist asked how Americans would react if China had seized Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook for violating Chinese law…especially if Sandberg were also the daughter of Steve Jobs.
Although it is far from clear whether the very elderly Adelson played any direct personal role in Ms. Meng’s arrest, he surely must be viewed as the central figure in fostering the political climate that produced the current situation. Perhaps he should not be described as the ultimate puppet-master behind our current clash with China, but any such political puppet-masters who do exist are certainly operating at his immediate beck and call. In very literal terms, I suspect that if Adelson placed a single phone call to the White House, the Trump Administration would order Canada to release Ms. Meng that same day.
Adelson’s fortune of $33 billion ranks him as the 15th wealthiest man in America, and the bulk of his fortune is based on his ownership of extremely lucrative gambling casinos in Macau, China. In effect, the Chinese government currently has its hands around the financial windpipe of the man ultimately responsible for Ms. Meng’s arrest and whose pro-Israel minions largely control American foreign policy. I very much doubt that they are fully aware of this enormous, untapped source of political leverage.

This is a very good angle in my opinion.

^^^^ the picture of Castro on the left has been doctored, looks like trudeau's face has been lightly blended in. The original Castro mugshot was in B&W, while Trudeau's picture is in color. There is a definite resemblance though, and the fact that you can't tell at first glance that his face has been mixed in with Castro's indicates that his proportions are similar to Fidel's. I do think Castro is his real father, just like Crowley is Barbara Bush's biological father.
