I believe that I’ve been shadowbanned on Instatagram thanks to the Instantical automation service. My photos no longer show up in hashtag results, even for obscure tags where there are no results. Has anyone experienced this, or managed to reverse it? Unfortunately Instantical customer service seems to have disappeared...

^ Strongly suggest you head over to a BlackHat Forum with that type of issue! Depending on the settings of your account, you might have to get a new IP address from your web provider.

Thats why I didn't sign up with them recently. I had it suggested through PM and the only reviews they have are in here in a locked thread.

Most likely that you used some banned hashtags, posted pictures that inlcuded nudity, alcohol, weed or other drugs or a spammy link in your bio.

FWIW I did get a response from Instantical, and they seemed to think it was because of risqué content.

It’s my photography account, and I posted a fully clothed pic of a model that blew up - it got almost 4,000 likes (I only have 2700 followers), almost 38,000 impressions, and ended up being reposted by playboy Spain. Then the next pic I posted of the same model (same hashtags) only got 28 impressions from hashtags. My most recent pics are all clothed so I don’t think it’s nudity related per se. I suspect it’s due to excessive hashtag use or something similar. It also appears to be partly fixed... the top pics for the hashtag #tfptoronto are back to being pretty much all mine, but yesterday none of mine were showing up.

Any recommended forums?
