L-Carnitine + L-Arginine + Zinc

What do you guys think of this stack?

Safe to take 1 of each at once?

L-Carnitine = 330mg
L-Arginine = 1g
Zinc = 30mg


I heard it is a recipe for increasing testosterone and rebuilding the reproductive system in case you are trying to have children. Others say it helps repair impotence and ED.

There's an excellent thread on Zinc in the forums already titled "How Zinc Made Me a Better Man". There's lots of great info in there to suggest that high-quality Zinc is a huge help to a man. Search it out and read up on it. I can't comment on the other two that you mentioned, due to lack of research and testing on my part. Have you seen any peer-reviewed studies regarding the L-'s you mentioned above? What has been your own experience if you've used that stack?

It's a decent stack but you can go higher on the arginine and Carnitine. Maybe substitue Citrulline with Arginine

I came across that post and dug it up also. Being a huge pussy though when I saw how many guys claiming sharp pains taking Zinc. Having to add copper with Zinc seems like a hassle too. I guess I'll never know until I try?

A close herbalist friend of mine suggested this stack for when you want to increase sperm count and start having children. Haven't gotten the chance to ask him if taking all 3 at once is a safe dosage or not.

Do you know if T levels have any correlation with making babies?

Jarrow brand zinc comes with copper. That is the brand I take. No adverse side effects.

L-Optizinc also has a balance of copper and zinc so your levels don't get too far out of whack. I'm not sure about Zinc and sperm production, but it wouldn't surprise me if there's a positive link based upon a cursory search:

74% increase! Basically, your balls need plenty of zinc to be happy. Don't O.D. either, there's tons of great info in the Zinc thread. Read all of the posts, there's plenty of informed discussion there.

It's a great stack, when you have your diet on point - well, like every other stack.
I'm following the very same for my cutting weight period, although I consume 2g of L-Carnitine on no-workout days and 4 grams on a workout day. Two grams 30-60 minutes before workout and on top of that also L-glutamine 10g daily, 5g in the morning and 5g before the sleep.
Hard to get anything cheaper, that will bear any fruit considering as many things simply don't.

If you want a workout blend I would take:
200mg caffeine
2g carnitine
3-5g Creatine
5g glutamine
2g Arginine or 2g Citruline
1g Taurine

For sexual purposes:
2g Carnitine
2g Arginine or 2g Citruline
Zinc and Magnesium before sleep
And then add in some herbs like Maca root, horny goat weed, tribulus, mucuna pruriens, pine pollen powder and many more

Took both L- amino acids but not Zinc yet. No problem.

You guys think copper is always a must when taking Zinc? I purchased one already before all of the good suggestions in here. Hoping my balls turn into watermelons in 1-3 months from now.

I don’t know about the first two, but I’ve been taking zinc tablets since about a year and I feel great energy, I also regularly eat Brazilian nuts and pumpkin, flax and chia seeds.

I gave this up. For me it's hard to commit to lab-made drugs. Someone here should experiment taking Sarsaparilla for 3 months and see if their T levels increase. I drink it on/off but perhaps I should do it more consistently. Def increases sperm load, lol.

So out of the numerous supplements discussed here, which one would best benefit me safely and without drug interactions ? I take l-arginine l-citrulline beta-alinine for "pumps" while lifting and yeah it gives my dick pumps too, particularly with that post workout t-boost.

This post feels suspect to me. Joined yesterday to ask about holistics supplements free of drug interactions? Seriously?!
