This thread is going in the direction I had hoped. It is the slowest news day of the century when an enthusiastic new forum member is being trashed for appreciating the forum too much.

P.S. I was very resentful when no one liked my Jiminy Glick post in the funny videos thread. Built to Fade, can you help a brother out?

He's being trashed? Seems to me like gentle good natured ribbing towards a member that everyone loves.

Maybe I was misinterpreting it.

It's ironic how he hasn't liked any of the posts here so far. I feel like refreshing this page every 2 minutes just to see if he's here. I think he's teasing us. I don't really know what to do with myself right now. Wait? Post something witty? I dunno.

Built to fade game:

Throw so much high quality love and affection at someone that it causes them to suffer withdrawal-like symptoms when BTF stops. Like a Junky when their Star Dealer disappears you sit clucking and hoping you will catch BTFs eye once again.

Worse is when you think you've made a clever post and even Built to Fade doesn't like it.

Perhaps he didn't see your post? Nah he's liked the posts immediately before and after yours.

There is no worse punishment in life.

I do this too - it's a subtle way to send a message, but oh what an impact it has! [Image: lol.gif] [Image: lol.gif] [Image: lol.gif]

Speaking of which, despite being silent here, Built to Fade has just liked some fresh posts in the Trump thread, so I guess everyone who posted here should consider themselves punished.

Over/under on pages reached by this thread before BTF likes someone's post ITT: 4.5. He'll crack eventually and have to like some cat-gif post or a lengthy diatribe on the concept of solar systems far beyond our reach or something.

The odds of that happening might increase if someone posts a pic of an uber hot chick I'm thinking... I don't think anyone in the history of this forum has ever had a complaint about eye candy unless guys are arguing over what's a 6 or a 7 lol. Fellas seem to dig the 9's & 10's almost universally across the board.

Look at what we've been reduced to. Offering rewards to each other for impressing him. Dancing for him. Pulling our hair out waiting for him to like a post or at least show up and say something. Refreshing this page and I know I'm not the only one. He's got us wrapped around his little finger. It's a cliche, but game recognized.

The thirst is real.

Lol I've been wondering why he likes polar opposite political posts.

This man is truly impartial in his love.

Even worse him liking your post in the Jewish conspiracy thread, and then unliking it.

I'm gutted.

Real offline person: What have you been up to?

RVF Member: Yeah I was on this site, you may not know it. It started as PUA, but against MRA. Anyway, there's thia guy, Built to Fade, who liked like 70,000 posts, no one knows why or how he did it. He liked anti P4P, a little JQ stuff, and anything about IRTs. But he didn't like a thread about him.

How about you what have you been up to?

Real offline person: huh?

You could follow up by telling them about Little Dark, and then about the delete thread. Throw in ACV for good measure!

He's waiting until 2024.

I don`t know if I like threads like these, dissing respected forum members. It`s sort of like doing a hit on a made man. You need to clear it with the commission first, otherwise it`s you that`s gonna get whacked!

It's interesting the way he leaves a trail of likes, because often I can see the path of links that led to one of my old posts being liked.

Say I notice that Built To Fade has liked a post of mine in thread x even though that thread hasn't been posted in since 2015, then I see that thread y from 2015 that contains a link to thread x has been bumped, because somebody mentioned it in thread z 2018, so BTF spent last night reading all three.
I'm sure there's plenty of us here that have read a lot of the forum like this, I certainly did over about a year lurking before I joined. It's just interesting that you can see where he's been.

I also johnbozzz if there is anyone out there who only ever reads the mobile version of the forum wondering what the hell this thread is all about.

"Likes? Like on Zuckbook?"

Here's a nice song for us all to dance to.
