For a while, I thought I was the only one, and I was flattered by the attention. He made me feel special. Then I learnt the truth that Built to Fade is a cad who hands out likes as easily as Bill Cosby hands out quaaludes. Seeing him liking everyone else's posts should fill me with feelings of betrayal, but on the contrary it just makes me work harder to vye for his attention.

In b4 Built to Fade or Handsome Creepy Eel has liked anything in the thread. Really though those two PUT IN WORK on the likes.

That feel when you think you've made a clever post but your only like is from Built to Fade.

I gave Built to Fade a rep point.

I feel like he's what little dark would've become had he dedicated himself to giving likes vs. giving ass-whoopins

Worse is when you think you've made a clever post and even Built to Fade doesn't like it.

Perhaps he didn't see your post? Nah he's liked the posts immediately before and after yours.

There is no worse punishment in life.

I have to say:

Thank You Built To Fade

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

The dude does read an amazing amount of content here. He reads through threads that have died, at least, six years ago as far as I can tell, and probably further back. It's impressive. I also enjoy his posts. He doesn't post too often but when he does, I'm all ears.

Yes, Built to Fade deserves the best Newbie award.

Not because he liked my posts, but....

Because he's a newbie and reads the forum instead of starting inane thread number 200 on an overly discussed topic like IOI.

I have to say, I thought he mostly just liked my posts, before coming into this thread and having my soul hacked to pieces at the revelation. [Image: dodgy.gif]

Edit: I hope he likes this post..
