How hard is it to get into the stock market?

Next event in calendar is US elections. The stock market will move. The day after the elections the trend will be established for at least 3-4 days. I believe Trump will win. But I don´t bet on it. Will wait for the results. See the trend and bet. Probably if Trump wins it will be like Brexit. Some days down and then up. Or they can go seriously south. If Hitlery wins they´re going up. Japan style up.

The first day after the elections will probably set the trend.

To be honest, i think the markets are going to go into a correction before and through the elections driven mostly by uncerrtainty. Trump will win and things will bottom out by the first week of January.

Then we can expect a massive run on the dollar and every other dollar based asset.

You cannot say for sure Trump will win. Supposedly Brexit wouldn´t happen. And it did. At least in theory.

Regardless of Trump winning, I think we can all agree this November will begin to look ugly.

there is no barrier of entry at all. I'd say anyone can do it but if you make a profit your in a small majority and even smaller if you make it consistently .

1. Educate yourself. Buy (or borrow at the library) a couple ofbooks on stocks, and read them.
2. You can't realistically expect that by spending minutes a day you can outsmart big professional traders. So buy and hold and accept market returns.
3. Use index funds. Vanguard offers them with low fees. This gives you the same return as the overall market.
4. Buying and selling will cost you a lot in commissions, especially if you're a small investor.

Hey there op, Just at tip its best to use robinhood as a trading platform and other places to do research on whatever indicators you think are important. Everyone thinking is different and you have to find what you see works and makes money MOST of the time. I use robinhood because day trading fees add up and the only fee with robinhood is margin which is a flat charge per month. I was essentially born into the market and margin so I don't see any risk with either but I say the sooner you get into the more you can desensitise yourself from the "risk" and start focusing on what to look for in the stocks you choose and timing your trades. if you have any questions or want some suggestions pm me, THE LAST AND IMPORTANT NOTE IS always believe anythings possible. its for that very reason my returns are high because I can believe a stock can go up 50% in a few hours and or down in a few seconds and react accordingly. Its just another day but what brings me excitement is 500% performance returns, just gets my blood excited! Anyways just shoot a PM if you'd like to have any suggestions pretty open nowadays.
