Does anything compare to the buzz of nightlife?

I still enjoy nightlife outside of North America, such as going to salsa clubs with a full eight member band playing various instruments where the locals dance with passion rather than some club where a dork plays "sick beats" on a laptop while the locals dance like retarded robots while whacked out on chemical drugs.

I get a pretty big buzz when I reel in a 30 lbs fish, gut/clean it then eat it. Same thing for when I go hunting with friends, take down a deer, dress it then eat it.

I got the same rush when I took down my first buck. One of those moments where you finally see it through your scope and ready yourself to squeeze the trigger.

I was shaking in excitement when I was trying to steady myself before he finally turned for my shot.

Still get that rush whenever I get that next buck, but nothing compares to that first time.

In my experience, it always leads to that first experience.

Could be like surfing my first big wave, shooting my first buck, getting my first threesome, etc.

If you are missing that rush, branch out and try things outside your comfort zone. It will shape you into a better man.

Take what you value, and find something that best suits your desires and follow through with a plan.

I Like going out with a bitch to Latin clubs

Going out with “friends,” or to any other type of club not so much fun after college. Hate it.

Does anything compare to the buzz of nightlife?

After I hit 30 going to clubs became a drag. By 11PM I miss my bed and comfortable privacy. I'd rather be snuggled up in bed with a tight body than grinding on her ass in a loud club and buying expensive drinks.

Networking and social events with a few drinks seem to be the best. No loud music, most people are there to meet others, and even if you don't get a romantic connection you can still make business and career connections. These events don't have to be stuffy or transactional either. I attend a lot of volunteer based foreign policy networking events and it's usually full of mid 20s early 30s young professionals and 50/50 ratio. Most people have interesting things to say and are also interested in what I have to say.

30+ here, nothing better than getting fucked up and hitting a nice place with some buddies, all hyped up, girls eyeing you when you enter, especially when you have the place on lock. With some xtc you are in heaven. The problem I have is finding cool guys who aren't settled down yet to join me.

And as I wrote this, I am once again getting ready to run solo in an exotic country where I pull around 50% of times I go out. No buddies to offer me back up besides the bottle of vodka to my right. Got some 'The Midnight' on to get that old school vibe, followed by some hard-hitting house music or some 90's gangsta rap. As always I will have to make it happen myself. Got to find that high energy state that girls love combined with my body chemicals after working out and being on no fap.

My biggest worry is not that I'll have a shitty night, but that I might get too fucked up and end up fucking a shady girl with no protection. Whatever, you gotta go search those stories, make those memories, life is too short to go to bed early on a Saturday night!

I love nightlife, but I don't drink and have no need to. I can chug on water all night and still have no problems approaching gals. So it doesn't take a toll on my body like it would had I been drinking hard. I'm done by 1 or 2 am - I think if you don't have a girl on lock by then, you're better off just goin home. Don't see the point in stickin around till 4 am - most remotely fuckable girls usually are taken by that time anyway.

I'm mid-30s too but can pass for late 20s/early 30s so I don't stand out too much, but I also don't hit up clubs full of 18 yr olds as that would definitely make me feel weird. Places I go to have a good mix of ages with plenty of ppl in their 20s, 30s and some even in their 40s. The upscale spots are usually like this, especially in big cities like NYC, LA etc. In the last few months alone I've gone home with girls 10+ years younger than myself.

Generally however, I do prefer lounges, bars, rooftops etc. Clubs get annoying fast.

Nightlife was great in my early to mid 20s, before IG/Snapchat really took over and girls spent more time taking selfies than socializing. I feel sorry for those now who think today's nightlife is awesome.

This might sound lame, but my biggest highs these days are when I write a sick riff or when I get a hot girl naked for the first time.

Not lame at all. For me, music creation is one of the most satisfying things i can do for my soul. I would hate to not have that cathartic outlet.

Hell yeah brother, too true.

It's funny that I made that post because last night I went out and had a stellar time. Mostly because we rolled out with my buddy's gf and 8 of her hot friends. Would've been pretty dumb to sit that one out

Some clubs and scenes have become SJW sewers or just straight up low quality shit-fests.

Apart from that, working early and having your shit togeather means that staying up late and getting wasted involves too much risk.

Therefore, I'm also seeking more daytime, early morning and early evening social activities.

p.s. the guys mentioning GYM: doesn't sound like that would replace the social aspect of nightlife and partying...

I'm not sure if much can live up to *proper* nightlife. For me there's nothing quite like taking drugs, being with a large group of friends (male + female), and hearing a great techno DJ at a massive club (think Berlin or Amsterdam). I'm talking about when you go out to a club to hear good music, dance and hang out with friends, NOT to hit on a bunch of girls (but getting laid is a nice bonus)

I'm a bit over nightlife because I prefer a healthy lifestyle. Once in a while it's fun if I'm with the right group, but staying up late fucks too much with my circadian rhythm. Lately I much prefer to go out with a girl, fuck her before midnight and pass out. Extreme sports such as rock climbing are more fulfilling for me than staying out at a club until late. Rather wake up at 6am, climb a mountain and smoke a joint afterwards, than stay out until 6am chasing after half-retarded girls. To each his own.

There are numerous other sources of enjoyment besides nightlife and some are more sublime, however for me, there's nothing similar in kind.

Only certain venues, and more so outside the USA. Forget VIP, bottle service, and all that gay shit.

I love the excess of stimulation, I love rolling solo or with a cool friend, I love nursing my vodka sodas with lime, I love the sidelong glances, I love the music, I love dancing, I love talking to strangers, I love flirting, I love the anonymity, I love the artificiality, I love taking some slut home when the stars align.

I don't go out often, but when I do, it has a special charge. Sad will be the day when I've aged out.

Does anything compare to the buzz of nightlife?

I want to keep it short, but it might wind up being long. But hey, you were warned. For those who want to read on, here it goes....

Does anything compare to the buzz of nightlife? In short, I never truly felt the buzz of nightlife. Maybe not being a heavy drinker and never doing drugs factors in. I've always looked at it mostly as a potential opportunity to meet a girl and fuck her brains out, or get into a punch up/brawl. Nothing less and really nothing more. Have I had a few great nights out I'll always remember? Sure. Has far more happened in my life that gave me more of a "buzz"? Fuck yes. What was a buzz for me? Playing in a semi-packed college football stadium for a high school regional championship. The buzz walking out of the locker room with your teammates with a job to do is probably the closest thing to going into battle as an army without the politics, guns, bombs, and death. You know each one of your teammates has your back, no mater what. We winded up getting spanked by a far superior team that night, but that feeling of first walking out onto that field, seeing a sea of your schools' colors on one side, lights bright, people cheering, hard to describe to people who've never experienced it. You get those good/anxious butterflies no matter how hard you try to suppress them. What else gives me a buzz? Taking down strange pussy for the first time. Especially if I had a specific target in mind. Quick-ish story: I was in San Juan, PR for work last year and was in a hotel right on the beach. Noon rolls around and after my cardio I decide to take my towel and hit the sand and take a nice ocean rinse. Looking for a spot to place my towel (good eye candy usually determines that) and boom. There she is. A local PR girl with long, dark, wavy hair up in a bun, thick black-rimmed teachers glasses, a long sleeved denim shirt, and oh by the way... a black dental floss g-string bikini on the bottom with one of the peachiest bums i've seen. Skin that can be described as cocoa butter in texture and color. She's lying on her stomach reading a book. I place my towel within 20 feet of hers. Without hesitation (attraction was as primal as you can get), I walk up to her and tell her to come take a dip with me. She gives me the hand and the line of "I'm not interested", but her eyes and touching of the neck show something else. Realizing I probably came on too strong and the slut defense guard came up, I pumped the brakes a bit and eased into some light convo. Then the gringo hit her with the Spanish, and then the big smile from her and relaxation that followed. Not taking no for an answer, she eventually succumbed and got up and we hit the ocean, playfully flirting as I chipped and chipped away. After almost 3 hours in the water I invited her up to my room. She felt me rock-hard in the water as we were lightly kissing, and touching. She said she couldn't because she had to pick up her cousin (I truly believe it was bf on the phone call) and to text her next time I was in PR. I said the iron is hot, come upstairs just for a few so I can show you my ocean view from the balcony. You know what happened next. Within seconds, she's on her knees on the couch and I'm pulling that g-string bikini bottom down to expose her two luscious holes. The BUZZ I felt the second before I buried my tongue into that little 22 year olds begging asshole (I was 32 at the time) is something I'll never forget. The hungriness of that first, long and deep stroke with her mouth as she attempted to deep throat me was priceless. What else is a buzz? As one commenter wrote, violence. Or the threat of it. I was living in the Midlands of England when I was 24 for several months and on a night out with some folks I made friends with, it was yay close to kicking off with some local thuggish Mohammeds. As we were we walking to another bar in town, one of them purposely shouldered my friend in our group of 5 and kept walking. They were 6 or 7 deep. Instantly, both parties turned around and started walking towards each other and squared off in the middle of the road. At this point in my life I had only been jumped from behind once and involved in some minor scuffles in high school and early 20s, but this was a whole new feeling. The adrenaline pumping as you are trying to process everything happening is a mind scramble. That is a fucking BUZZ. However, before the first punches were thrown W. Midlands Police in helmets and batons came running out of a police van, batons out, telling us all to back off. Those coppers coming to separate us was a buzz in itself, and being a Yank, I've never had a group of officers rush me or my friends ever. I wouldn't say it was fun, or cool, or something to be proud of, but that buzz, that uncertainty, was absolutely present. So for me, does anything compare to the buzz of nightlife? Plenty does and then some. Sure nightlife has it's own little air to it, but to say it's a buzz, for me is inaccurate. The way I see nightlife, especially clubs, is that it's largely comprised of people all putting on a phony act to attract the opposite sex. At least in America. I get less of that vibe when I travel abroad although it is present in other places too. I generally HATE the garbage music that they play in the nightlife scene no matter the venue, potentially paying cover for having a dick (unless your boyyyyy is a bartender, bouncer, or dj BROOOO), and the overall sloppiness and the trying to hard attitude that is present in nightlife to be in the current year. Yea.... go get a nice shirt, shave a part into your head, or get a stupid fucking manbun with bottle service to boot all while lip syncing Cardi B songs as you stand on a couch grabbing your dick, or general area that used to be where your dick was. Please, spare me.

Actively stalking a group of elk in low brush midday trying to get into a good position to make a shot without them seeing you and spooking off. Ain't no nightclub going to get my blood pumping like that.
