Welcome to Philadelphia

Jesus Christ, Godzilla, you weren't kidding about the SJW white knighting here. I've been gaming on and off for 5 years and I witnessed the most pathetic display of beta mangina white knighting today at Spruce Street Harbor Park. Dude grabbed the back of my neck and angrily asked me to stop talking to women, lol. I'm 26 and that's the first time I've ever had someone put their hands on me.

Also, it's funny how these women keep saying they are shocked to have a friendly guy approach them. Prior to Philly, a girl asked me if I was drunk when I approached her once or twice over the course of 5 years on and off of pick-up (can be seen as a legitimate question or a congruence test). I've been asked that 5 times in the last 2 days in Philly, even though my game is virtually the same. Their tone hasn't been rude but it's still a rude question. At least they've said it's because they're not used to strangers being friendly.

This place is starting to give me a bad vibe a la Los Mangeles, albeit for entirely different reasons. I'm starting to think outside of NYC and Chicago, the US is absolutely a steaming pile of garbage for the single male.

Well that's interesting about Philly. Thanks for adding your data points. There are very mixed opinions on here about it, but it seems the consensus is that it's a very good place for day game. I guess like anywhere everyone is going to have different experiences. However I don't agree with your last sentence.

The other downside is that black and hispanic guys are heavy into street selling, which can make women think that we are trying to sell to them. With that being said, our being bold enough to stop a woman on the streets gets attraction points, but it isn't the same (in my opinion) as if a white guy did the same thing.

Ah. Didn't dawn on me until now. You hit the nail on the head with street selling. I approached a white girl recently (not many other options. lol.). The way she pretended to not see me. That explains it. Must be why the real street sellers ignored most people in my path, but tried to sell me something. I was like "why did y'all ask me instead of everybody else?" Lol.

If you're a black guy, you might have Philly success if she has eye-balled you from the 9-5 job or college classes. I know, first hand. Beyond that, it will be tough, my friend. Not impossible, but tough. I probably won't renew when my lease is up as it defeats the purpose. Lol. But the area itself is nice, easy to walk, and clean. Might as well enjoy the neighborhood until then.

Welcome to Philadelphia

Here's the thing, alot of people call it "white knighting", and I suppose it is, but the reality is many guys out here go out looking for a fight. Tons of frat bros, meatheads, etc, and are really just looking for an excuse to get in a fight to feel like a badass. So to some degree I guess it is trying to show off to women, but it's probably more just people looking for any excuse to start a fight because their bored or whatever. Funny thing is I've found New Yorkers to be on average more friendly than people from philly.

Welcome to Philadelphia

I happened to make a stop in Old City last night on my way to meet up with some co-workers and there happened to be a Halloween bar crawl going on. I had to do multiple double takes as I couldn't believe the number of people (hundreds), including many reasonably attractive girls, that were on 2nd St. just to sign-in for the bar crawl. This was one particular company (Bar Crawl Nation), but there are others that are going on next weekend.
