The NPC meme

Just to say something related to this phenomena.
Stopping inner monologue on purpose is pretty much one of the chief tenets of many spiritual systems and philosophies throughout the world. When you can control your inner monologue at will, you become master of your mind, true alchemist of psyche.
I think marijuana really helps with inner monologue.
"Learn to code" ?
Nah.
Those Huffington Post hacks would be better off with - "Learn to CAM".
For their soy-boy audience that is.

That'd be a hell of a show. Some kind of bizarre dom/sub shit where she arouses herself by calling her viewers bigots and misogynists in the chat, touching herself while the white boys type in how sorry they are for looking at her and send donations as a form of contrition.
I could actually see that happening honestly.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

In my experience it is true, once demoralized there is no coming back.
I know many people from the soviet times, and most have been utterly broken by the system.
Only very few were able to get out of this state, and even then, there is always something of it remaining in them, they remain branded forever.
The worst is that we still did not find a successful way to avoid the same thing being reproduced here in the west.

A couple months ago I found a stupid punk song about transdegenerates on youtube, called 'the trans girl song' or some shit like that.
The music is bad enough as they stretch three chords for three minutes, and scream angrily about the hardships of being a tranny in patriarchal white regressive system - like ours, you see.
I commented how bizarre it was that 'punks' now agree with all major corporations, developed nations' governments and the general western culture. I got a reply that said: 'they are anarchists you little shit! are governments and corporations anarchists?'
He (well, maybe an IT) doesn't even stop to question why supposed anarchists and major governments and corporations are on the same side of such issues. They don't understand what selling out means.
Veredict: NPCs. The band, the fans, the trans. All of them.

Wasn't punk always a joke ?
I remember in the 80s, those who listened to that were all members of the bourgeoisie, trying to pose as edgy.
The real working-class youth were into heavy metal instead.

Here in Portugal it's a bit different.
We had a lot of punk and hardcore bands that were truly anti-system, living basically as hobos in certain cases. There were fascist, communist and anarchist factions. And none of them was from the middle class. They were sons of rural people who moved to the city to rise to the middle class. I would be pissed too. Metal, on the other hand, was mostly either apolitical or communist.
By now all of them are in fact part of the system, instead of against it.
But of course, the original thing was completely concocted by record labels with Tavistok-type instructions. Sex Pistols were the first boyband, in a sense. But I think in some cases it did spark a true rebellious nature - the problem was that the medium (punk music) was crass and dumbed-down garbage, so nothing good could really come of it.

About right.
Even something as simple as having good situational awareness & being observant of people & their behaviour as you're walking the streets.
On a few occasions now, I've pointed out obvious / basic things to a female friend (who is smarter than the norm), yet she will indicate she is entirely unaware of what I'm referring to.
Even if it was a mere few feet away from her. It may have been right in front of her, yet she'll claim complete ignorance...

Notice this with Kiwis all the time. This is why I like daygame despite the low "productivity"- talking to foreign girls who think clearly is refreshing, talking to Kiwi guys who don't is frustrating.

Queenstown should be your playground then, with all those work Visa back-packers.

I don't plan on being in NZ long term. But Queenstown is likely a lot better than Auckland.
Dupe.
John Oliver Billboard Hijacked in Los Angeles, Hit With ‘Orange Man Bad’ NPC Meme Street Art
Quote:Quote:
A John Oliver billboard in Los Angeles has been hit with street art turning the image into an NPC ‘Orange Man Bad’ meme.
The latest street art is the second HBO billboard to be targeted by right-wing street artist “The Faction” in less than a month. Earlier this month they targeted a advertising Real Time with Bill Maher.
“The recent rains in LA washed away the top layer of this billboard, revealing the truth underneath — that John Oliver is an NPC programmed by his masters to bash Trump.
Like Bill Maher, Cryin’ Jimmy Kimmel, Steven Colbert and Trevor ‘Token’ Noah, John Oliver is just one of the spigots used to spew the flood of anti-Trump hatred that HBO, Netflix, NBC, ABC, CBS and their armies of sniveling soy-boy writers are overflowing with.
Oliver is the same Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer as Maher and his commiepatriots, but with an English accent. That’s no problem for the clapping seals in his audience. They are thought-slaves who also believe that there was a discernible difference between the two parties and that Hillary was somehow going to have different policies than Jeb(!). They can’t stand that Trump’s victory revealed that Coke and Pepsi were, in fact, the same garbage.
We hear that David Spade is entering the late night arena. If he makes only ninety percent anti-Trump jokes per episode instead of the requisite one hundred percent dictated by the pedophiles and rapists at the tippy-top of the Hollywood trash-pile, he will be a breakout hit. But given that actors are only capable of pretending to be brave in movies and tv shows in which their actual safety is guaranteed by stunt men, he may have trouble getting guests if he’s deemed too patriotic and pro-Trump.”

Holy shit, there are people without inner monologues!
I have an inner monologue, but it doesn't "narrate" everything I do. For example, it would not say
"I am picking up the keyboard and placing it in my lap. I am typing up a post on RvF."
Do other people really have this type of constant narration?!
No. It means there are some people who literally incapable of constructing non-verbal sentences in their heads. Like they've never thought the words inside their head "do I want to do X or do I want to do Y?" Instead they just act on one or the other.
