Looking for a good wingman to travel with me - Offering salary + travel expenses cove

Just read the whole thread, a bit interested in the position in spite of my age (mid-30s). I don't think I'd fit all requirements but could give it a try (not being Cindy's emotional support squirrel here but I could use the money), anyway I do have a few questions if OP doesn't mind?

You want to hire people as personal assistant bodyguard, promoter whatever the job description is, I get the idea, but will you sign an agreement and how (and when) will you pay your personal assistant? I'd think you'll need to pay taxes, probably even health insurance, for your employee? or do you just plan on paying cash or crypto maybe? Even then, even if you pay cash or crypto, you'd be liable to pay taxes in Thailand or your country of residence, if you employ a bodyguard or promoter in Thailand, do I have this right? What about Thailandese laws on employment and health insirance, maybe also there are regulations for bodyguards or club promoters?

Also if I or anybody else take on the job, I would have to declare my earnings as personal assistant, especially if you wire money to my bank acount (luckily don't have to fear the IRS but the CRA is no joke and maybe Thailand has their own revenue agency??), unless it's all under the radar?

Last question , will you send to the man you eventually hire 2 plane tickets (return) to Thailand and a retainer fee for initial expenses, maybe just 1000 US Dollars to buy Summer clothes and vaccine to Asia or just clear his debts before traveling? and when will you pay the rest of the salary, on completion at the end of your holiday or one week, 2 weeks before completion, bank wire, crypto , cash?

I doubt he's looking to sign contracts. He must be able to next people within days if things don't work out, so my guess is he'll go for an all-cash under the table arrangement. I wouldn't want to sign contracts or pay taxes either because I want to be able to split too if I end up not enjoying the deal. Plane tickets and some pocket money in advance is a must, but beyond that it's a hand-shake and perhaps biweekly cash payments or something. Keep things real simple for everyone involved.

Perhaps if things work out REALLY well with someone, and they are both happy to make the arrangement more long-term, then they could make it more official. But otherwise I think it wouldn't be worth the trouble, and it might even create trouble out of nothing for no reason.

OP is not Vinny. I know Vinny and OP in real life. They are not the same dude. He's also not Dragan. (The Dragan I met and ousted in Belgrade as a know-it all, low-value, young, poor, silly, dumbass.)

As I said before, OP is not a homo in any way. He's a normal dude with a lot of the same beliefs we have on this forum and some that differ like anyone else here.

To address the "drug smuggling" assertion he's not a guy who would try and fuck you by giving you drugs or something fucked up like that. He's super generous and kind to everyone we came across from waiters and personal assistants to the security guys I hired to help me look after him. He paid all my expenses and flights to and from and I came out on top with good money and a great experience.

While OP and I have different personalities that didn't mesh well I can tell you he's a good dude who is super into zen stuff like yoga and meditation. I'm not. I'm a loud, high-energy dude who's from a loudmouthed city and is former infantry. I'm not the type of dude who needs to be working for someone in this capacity (or maybe at all.) I'm used to working for myself or in positions where I get let loose to either make money for the person I'm working for or run a team without much guidance.

In hindsight I probably would have been better just managing a security team instead of taking on a whole range of responsibilities and wearing too many hats. I offered to do a lot more than one man could handle and it became stressful and annoying for me. OP did everything he could to make it work but it just wasn't a good fit due to our different styles so we parted ways. This was a good decision and showed a lot of maturity on both sides and wasn't because OP was a bad guy or a bad boss.

I'd say a good man to help him would be someone who is a calm, super chill surfer type personality. Finding a security professional who can also be all the other stuff OP needs is unlikely. OP isn't that demanding except when it comes to being a chill, calm dude who never gets loud or fast-talking like I tend to be. I like to put myself into stressful situations and test myself. I believe growth comes from stress and OP likes to take it easy and relax and enjoy himself. He's his own man and can choose how to go about his like like any other man. We're just different in out styles and methods.

OP is opinionated and likes to do things his way. It would be best to have someone who can "go with the flow" even if he disagrees with the methods used or the goals in mind. I'm also opinionated and have no problem saying "This isn't going to work." if that's what I'm thinking. I won't take someone's money if I think I can't get the job done no matter how much someone is paying me.

OP and I are still friends and might try to work together again in the future but for now we're both going on with our own plans and goals. Many of the guys here know me and how I operate and I wouldn't say any of this unless I meant it.

If you're on here fighting with OP about his way of doing things that's fine and you shouldn't take the job. For some guys this is a great opportunity. For me I'm going to continue to live, talk, and act however I want and am not going to change my personality or management style for any person or job. If you fit the bill of chill, easy-going, zendude that can get along with anyone while being calm and willing to try doing things someone else's way you'll love this job. If you're a different guy with lots of personality, boisterousness, and want to run things your way you'll feel like you should be doing something else.

Hope this helps. Cheers!

An 11 series (infantry) and a surfer bro. Sounds like I missed a good party.

You dismiss the relevance of my post and might be right on TravellingParty but it raises 2 questions:

what happens if the lucky one , the young guy chosen by TravellingParty has some health issue or a scooter accident in thailand? No health insurance means shit would turn real especialy in a 3d-world country..

And if you're right and the deal will be cash-only then TravellingParty is using this forum to find people willing to work for him under the table, which is illegal. Illegal labour, informal work sounds better but still is illegal. Let's hope Thailandese authorities turn a blind eye IMHO especially in case of some accident or random shit happening!

As long as the trip isn't too long, travel insurance is quite inexpensive. Thai authorities won't care... this isn't the West anymore.

See thats why I don't read the neverending threads on politics anymore, like threads on your Migrants crisis , because of the hypocrisy.

The hypocrisy is when someone like OP TravellingParty offers a job that's obviously under the table, come moonlight for me, cash-in-hand and no agreement written and nobody balks. But at the same time everybodys angry at migrants who "take the jobs from us" and they "don't pay taxes, they're bloody illegals". But suddenly when someone offers you an illegal job you say it's informal and no big deal and fuck the Thailandese.

So is it like when Brown man accepts a job cash in hand, it's a bloody illegal migrant but when a White man offers you a job cash in hand now it's OK and nice informal opportunity between it's between us?? Seriously what about the native people in Thailand, maybe they'd love to be hired as bodyguards or club promoters, why would you take the job away from them and it's OK cause we're White and their laws don't matter??

Whatever, I'm sure if there's ever a fight between OP's hired bodyguard (won't be me or my crew anyway, not interested anymore) from the forum and a Thailandese citizen , shit will hit the fan real bad. Thailand authorities likely to ask why one's working as unregistered bodyguard or promoter, no work visa no taxes paid, answers expected chop-chop.. Things to keep in mind when traveling, respect the local people, law, customs.

That's just how society works in undeveloped countries... the law is not upheld. The custom is to not pay tax. If you try and do things officially, you'll be met with roadblock after roadblock caused by corrupt officials looking for a handout and putting yourself on their radar to extort at any given moment. A local in a similar situation would do everything under the table and if the authorities were to try and punish him, it is just an unwritten agreement for him to pay them a bribe of less than whatever the official fine would be. That's partly why somewhere like the UK is much more developed and prosperous than somewhere like Thailand, to use your two examples.

That's not a bash at Thailand and praise for the UK... my response is based on my experience of living in the Philippines (which I'm assuming operates in a similar fashion to Thailand), where I choose to live largely because of the freedom and peace of mind that this attitude presents.

TL;DR - it's not hypocritical because operating illegally is the local custom in a country like Thailand. It is not the local custom in a country like the UK.

I think you misunderstand all this. It's like the Biblical "hate the sin, not the sinner". We're not so much pissed at the foreigners (who owe us nothing, and in fact sometimes belong to religion who's stated purpose is to destroy or enslave us, and have done so every chance they got for hundreds of years). We're pissed at own leaders, who DO owe us something, and are supposed to represent our interests, but are instead looting our country for foreigners for reasons that are certainly not to our benefit. In America, we're pissed that OUR leaders are (illegally) making it the smart move for Mexicans to move here, not so much the Mexicans themselves (who are hard working Christians just doing the right thing for their families.). It's a little more complex in Europe, when it's a people that have repeatedly attempted to conquer and enslave you (and inevitably will again) so there is practical and historical wartime animosity added to the mix.

And (as pointed out previously) the the local custom and tradition is to work out things on this level informally. I have no idea why the word "bodyguard" would pop up unless the guy he hired was a complete doofus and incompetent clown. "Yes sir officer, this guy jumped my buddy, I pulled him off." You probably won't even be exaggerating , your guys on the this forum can become buddies real quick.

And again on local custom, it's common for local Farang fighters and such to work as bodyguards (under the table in Thailand). To hire a Farang officially in Thailand (even yourself) requires you to found a company that employs 4 Thai people for every American. And a lot of other rigamarole, completely impractical for something that is more of a gig than a job.

Why don't you come down to Colombia and the men can show you how to live an amazing life based on masculinity and not PUA game.

Keep your money to yourself.

I really feel like you are severely blinded by the PUA community on what is real and what is not.

Bad times for the manosphere when Alpha guys are more'n ready to work under the table for any person who promises to throw money at them.

It's like this, some Bilzerian wannabe comes over , waves a big wad of cash and suddenly he's got plenty of friends on the forum?

Hey, dumbass, you realize you’re accusing me of things you have no basis of? Then you leave some bullshit “positive” review for me. Fuck off.

Edit: Ironic how you PM me saying you have friends who would be interested in the job only if it’s paid in cash then come here and complain about that from the other side of your mouth. Sounds like the type of troll people here were saying existed here earlier on.

Actually wanted to leave you a bad review and don't reckon I know how it appeared as positive +1 but make no mistake it was a negative review.

I did say by PM that we could be interested in getting cash from you but I meant cash with a signed agreement, over the table. Cash is not illegal if it is declared by both parties and due taxes levied, I was planning on paying taxes if you had answered, cash or bank wire.

Once again, you do not need to pay anyone to teach you how to be a man. Use your money for things that matter.

Edit: Ironic how you PM me saying you have friends who would be interested in the job only if it’s paid in cash then come here and complain about that from the other side of your mouth. Sounds like the type of troll people here were saying existed here earlier on.

By the way what part of PM as in Private Message you don't understand? Why are you publicly talking about what might or might not have been written to you by Private Message?

OP, I think you're slightly unhinged but might be wrong on the slightly part. Maybe it's the yoga thing got you all off balance? Lol also at your keeners on the thread..

@Bobcat
When you’re attacking me and others who have been open to working with me left and right I don’t give 2 shits about you sending me an incongruent PM and expecting me to hide it for you. Get a reality check. I expect to see you banned soon.

Bobcat, you need to work on your interviewing skills. I'd say they are the worst I've ever seen. You went from posting your interest, in the job, to attacking the OP all within 24 hours. The op never even got a chance to respond before you started attacking him.

That is the definition of unhinged, man.
