They have the 'exotic' factor but it's mainly because in India white girls are considered promiscuous and easy compared to Indian women.

That's why guys message them on Facebook asking them to show their tits instantly. They don't do that to Indian or Middle Eastern girls for the most part

Yeah sure tell yourself that bud.

You have proud Indians that rep in my area probably the highest populated enclave in North America.

And then you have Indians that have a inferiority complex towards whites exclusively. I'd say over 90% of their men could give 2 shits whether or not a black or a Oriental woman wants to fuck them or even be in their social circle.

But the great almighty Whitey?????....Thats a whole new ballgame. That acceptance is like a drug to them.

Dates all the way back to that phony assed peace loving racist "hero" Ghandi......even his white worshipping uncle Tom ass. It meant the WORLD to him not only to be admired by "them", but to not be lumped at the same level as in his memoirs the "kaffirs" and "slant eyes".

Oh how he couldn't stand that!

I went on a date with this Punjab one over the summer.....told me she considered herself in her words "white washed". Broad as close to being white as my dark ass lmao.

What's hilarious is you'll almost NEVER see white folks seeking out the acceptance of them: "Geez what I gotta do to be in these Indian people's cool books?"

I've often heard these whites I've worked with tend to make snide racist "curry smell", turban remarks/jokes. Mocking their language dialect. And i chastise their asses for it.

I only tend to get along with them fresh off the boat Indians.....real down to earth mofos. On the other hand any Indian of that Ghandi mindset can join his ass in the next lifetime for all I care.

Nomad brah : India and China are leading the world in clean energy initiatives. The Americans tried to sue us in the WTO for producing our own solar panels at a fraction of the cost but they lost miserably and we've gone ahead and poured massive money into it. We've got homegrown nuclear tech and we're estimated to become the country with the largest number of nuclear powered reactors soon more than even China.

We also know our population will peak at 1.7 billion before contracting to 1.5 billion. Even at those numbers our country is large enough so that in a per capita basis we are less crowded that the Netherlands and belgium

At that point it all becomes about sophisticated planning. The only city planned in India right now is Ahmedabad, the rest just mushroomed out of nowhere. New Delhi is all right as well but they had time once they realized old Delhi was too small for the people coming in.

Unfortunately we are not a player in the renewable energy - automobile sector because that's one area we don't quite have expertise in. The Chinese are leading the Americans at that though and if worse comes to worse we will deal with them thigh they will ask for heavy concessions.

@hv123 unfortunately that post just shows the ignorance of the average westerner Smile

Most people run to India and make a beeline for the Taj Mahal but the Taj Mahal is built in one of the most underdeveloped part of India. They walk around with a star struck look in their eyes and everyone can tell they're completely out of their depth and easy targets for scamsters.

The country is huge and more diverse than maybe the rest of the world put together. One trip let alone 10 is not enough to pass a conclusive statement but westerners tend to be people who don't do well when the world doesn't cater to them Smile

Their policies don't seem to be based on factual reasoning as much as grandstanding. (similar to trump in my opinion)
Any proof for your statement?

1) Demonitization saved India's real estate market from crashing, and by extension India's economy
2) Aadhar link has led to crores of fake document holders from disappearing. They are and have been a strain on the economy
3) Ujala Scheme saved crores in electricity bill. Paved the way to electrify every village in India
4) GST has massively increased the government's tax base
5) Optical fibre network expanded to 0.2mn km since 2014 including rural (in <3.5 years)
From the top of my head, these policies and their results are not due to grandstanding. There are many more successful policies. Of course, not all the schemes have succeeded. But 'grandstanding' is not the right work

My father works as a civil servant (IAS), and according to him and his colleagues (who have been a part of the system for 25 years each), the speed of the changes is mind-boggling but most of the changes wont be felt now, development needs time.

I can see why they do that because their resentment runs deep all the way back to nehru banning the RSS and their disgust that English is becoming the neutral language in India rather than hindi but it is what it is

WTH are you talking about? Lol
Article 343 of the Indian Constitution - “The official language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script”
Article 351 of the Indian Constitution - “It shall be the duty of the Union to promote the spread of the Hindi language, to develop it so that it may serve as a medium of expression for all the elements of the composite culture of India and to secure its enrichment”
Even though our Constitution does not use 'national language' word, it clearly gives special directives to Union and State to take efforts to spread use of Hindi language.

Nehru banning the RSS was based on suspicion that RSS was involved in the assassination of Gandhiji. Complete BS. The ban was reversed
Also, have you been to an RSS Shakha?
(Please take some time, and read about how RSS helped, and is helping, people whose livelihoods was destroyed in Kerala floods recently. I know this because my family has been personally involved in the rescue efforts)

I'm not sure this is the place for such a discussion but I'll have a go :

1) demonization was sold as something to bring Indias black money back into the banks. At that point we had one of the most talented economists in the world raghuram rajan in charge of the RBI. The same person who predicted the western financial crash, was laughed at and called a luddite but turned out to be right. He is on record stating that demonization is going to be a failure.

They replaced him and went ahead and when it became clear that the scheme was not really working with people finding loopholes to bring their money into the system they moved the goalposts to becoming a "cashless economy". If that was truly the case the whole fiasco could have been avoided with a gradual shift towards electronic payments which is now happening organically and would have avoided a world of pain to the people living in villages

2) aadhar is a great idea, one which is needed and one which the Supreme Court has upheld. However this is extraordinarily sensitive data and needs to be handled in an appropriate manner. When the system has been continuously hacked by Israelis and Russians and journalists pointing out the problems with exemplary investigative journalism their response was to discredit the journalists rather than fix the damn thing which is appalling.

The constitution bit is opening a whole can of worms but the cold hard truth is that the harder they push this the more the balkanization of India becomes a possibility. Southern political giants like DMK, Stalin and Karunanidhi have ensured that Tamil pride is a core belief for the Tamilans that is intrinsically tied to the Tamil language. I think they even have a law banning public signs in hindi and other southern states have threatened to do the same. The telugus are similar to them and even though kanadigas are more laid back they too will refuse to speak to hindi. You can forget about convincing the Malyalis. There is a reason the BJP is unable to make inroads into Southern India.

Nehrus greatest achievement was building a collective sense of Indian identity(apart from Khalistani terrorists) that allows us to keep our regional sense of self as well. Even Europe with all its money and 'enlightenment' has not managed that and while I appreciate that the BJP aggressive nationalism now ensures that as we enter a time of great change a core Indian sense of self will be central to it all and we won't lose all of our history and traditions the language push is one they are destined to fail at.

I've been to an RSS shaka and here is an uncomfortable truth as well. I have no love lost for Muslims worldwide but Indian Muslims were a different breed. They may have stayed separate but there were zero home grown terrorist attacks outside kashmir till the RSS Kar sevaks went and tore down the babri masjid in broad daylight. The Muslims then bombed Mumbai and the rest as they say is history. It was unnecessary, divisive and extremely partisan but it gave them power so hey ho eh?

One thing I've been thinking of recently is how bad The West must seem to certain outsiders, considering that The West is swimming in a constant sea of sexual abuse accusations; with a left that seeks to weaponise, in particular against rich, white males.

We're living in a period where rape, coercion etc. - that have always gone on - are only beginning to be dealt with openly. The Catholic Church has been around for about 1,600 years, but it's only in the last 30-40 years that it's begun to be dealt with. So it could look like the place where rape and abuse are the least prevalent are actually the epicenter. And of course, for progressives that view is a wet dream.

But as alluded to in this post, most of the rest of the world is saturated in rape; and if you are raped the best course of action you probably have to do is shut your mouth. Whenever I bring this point up to leftists, not only does the group responsibility for rape that they like to chuck at or near the feet of white men, disappear, so does individual responsibility. Because they could only be so bad if someone (probably a white, male) made them that way. Rinse and repeat for any other problem from anywhere outside The West.

If we were able to know what the real rape figures are (most countries don't even really keep them) the figures in Africa and Asia would dwarf those of Europe. We are only just starting to scratch the surface of rape elsewhere. If you look there is an increase of reports of rapes by Buddhist monks (often tourists are their victims). Around a third of indigenous American women claim to have been raped. Pakistan was, in living memory, the perpetrator of by far the largest genocide rape ever known. Most countries, until recently didn't really recongise rape. And the biggest block to such things being more widely known is the damage it does to the leftist narrative that the countries that are by far the least bad in the world by their own measure are somehow the very worst.

Cutting down to the real figures. In Britain, 5% of women claim to have been actually raped. This is a figure I find believable. The data on perpetrators is sketchy, but it's clear that most rapes are committed by repeat offenders. So the reality is there are probably about 1% of men who are rapists in the UK, and they are likely all psychopaths. I feel that will be the defining factor, over gender.

Rape culture is a fairly new phenomenon in India, it's a result of the neoliberal globalist tack that has been recently taken there, along with the recent introduction of porn culture. Before that lower class men were bound by tradition.

E Michael Jones had a good read on the socio-economic and cultural dynamics there.

I started watching that shit at 13 and only quit well into my 20s. Never felt the urge to get all rapey.

Indian blokes are just a primitive lot, and not socially calibrated.

For all you India apologists saying this chick was stupid for staying in budget accommodations..would you let your daughter travel solo to India on any budget? I think not.

Westerners continue to baffle me. When there are so many Indian authors who have far more understanding of what's going on why would you listen to some guy called E. Jones or whatever. His name even sounds ignorant

It's hilarious listening to westerners try and interpret Hinduism and moan 24/7 about sati when women have traditionally enjoyed a hugely prominent role in Hinduism.

The irony of someone going by the name trumpian and calling Indian blokes a primitive lot is something no one can satirize.

Anyway, there are numerous women traveling India now, Indian women, middle eastern women and what not. I encourage white women to travel as well if nothing but to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them and western liberalism whilst making inroads everywhere is on the verge of a serious backlash.

The upcoming culture wars are not within the west, it's going to happen as a resurgent third world rejects westernization and takes what works in the west but rejects the more irrational aspects. That's why contrary to this forums opinion we will give the gays, trans etc people equal rights but talk about opening a passage to an unfettered stream of rohingyas and no one bar a loud minority will agree with you.

The rape in India happens because some subcultures in India are fucked beyond repair. Rural central/north India (Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, UP) are some of the worst places on the planet. They are ludicrously poor, overpopulated, and backward. You have millions of people being born into horrible, filthy conditions that are honestly difficult to fix. Education in these areas is awful. These areas contribute a lot of people who are India's equivalent of the migrant crisis refugees. You'll see tons of people from this part of India laboring on the roads in other Indian states or building highways in the Himalayas.

South India, the Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are nowhere near as bad. 99% of the barbaric medieval shit in India comes from this region. It's mostly people from these bum fuck places coming to other states, seeing tourists/"liberal" women for the first time in their lives, and going crazy.

India's a weird place, you have some subcultures that will be very successful wherever they go and some that are near the bottom when it comes to human development.

^ nothing is 'fucked beyond repair'. That just screams western arrogance.

Bihar and UP have been left behind by Indias growth you're right and their culture is too aggressive but the whole conversation now is to generate as many jobs as possible in UP and Bihar.

What you call 'overpopulation' can be turned around into the largest pool human capital in the world bar China.

It will take a generation or two or maybe even three but it will happen

When I travelled to India, every single female traveler I met had stories of harassment and dicey situations involving local men. I was hanging out with a French girl for a few days, and she admitted the main reason she followed me around was that she didn't feel safe after a guy grabbed her when she was walking back to her hostel, and even then she was groped in the street while I was standing right next to her. And then there were the stares, the hundreds of cold dead eyes that followed her everywhere she went. After visiting that country, I can confirm that rape culture does in fact exist. One thing that stands out is how few unaccompanied women you see in the streets there, probably because they're well aware that it's not safe to be alone. (The exception was in Punjab province where the guys seem to be a little less rapey for whatever reason). It's hilarious when idealistic starry-eyed western chicks travel to India expecting to find the most spiritual place in earth, and even after they experience the reality, they desperately hold onto the delusion that it's not a souless hell hole.

I wanna quote all this, you hit the nail on the head right there. I wanted to comment about the Punjab region - it's quite possibly because of the Sikh religious views. If there's any foreign religion I could say to admire, it is Sikhism, because of their balanced views on human nature: we should treat everyone with respect and dignity, women included (without women, humankind would cease to exist), but we should also take no shit from people that want to hurt us, q.v. swords, etc.

I am dumbfounded at all this. I just kinda thought it was common knowledge to not be a lone white girl in the middle of Bumfukk India. Where are all this hippie-dippy chicks coming from?

If you want to know why westerners can't enjoy India it's because literally every post from them in this thread is 100% full of shit.

Anyone describing India as "soulless" has zero idea about what they are talking about, I've been around the world and India still has the most color and soul and taste for me.

If you're complaining about "staring", it is obvious you are incapable of appreciating that the world will never bend to your personal worldview. It's like going somewhere and wondering why they dress differently. In India staring is normal, doesn't mean anything at all.
