Making the most out of game while working a white collar or corporate job.

This is not a repeat thread or repost of any kind but I'll probably get roasted for it anyways. In other words, we discuss how to build a successful nice paying career in the corporate or white collar world and make the most out of game along the way.

Not normal for me to post more than a thread a week but I wanted to post this as an open discussion, not to whine about anything but more to give each other some good ideas of how to make the most of our weekends and free time.

While there can be a lot to complain about as a lot of us have noticed all too often........

I think we kind of overlook some of the benefits of this situation even though it isn't ideal to most.

For one, the money and benefits can be pretty good. If you work for a decent or good company, you will get paid above average salary and on top of that get things like health benefits taken care of. The stability is also there compared to a more wild fun job where it is feast or famine in terms of salary and you might have to crash on someone's couch.

The other benefit is that in many industries, if you are a likable enough guy, you might get to meet and rub shoulders with people who are financially successful themselves. I have heard the claim that sales is a lot like game so you can learn some relevant skills there.

I really don't think 40 to 50 hrs a week is that much anyways and love that unlike college, I don't have homework and finals to worry about.

But now for the challenge of making the most of it in terms of game.

I mentioned on previous threads how it seems rare to find someone in this situation living the player lifestyle so I want to discuss ideas on how to make the most of the situation in terms of game.

1. Looksmax and go to dating apps.

Obvious go to and one I have seen work best for guys who are naturally good looking and take good photos. Mixed feelings about putting your career on the profile since it can lead to you being put in the provider category but I think there are obvious ways around it. Plus if she is attracted to your looks enough, she could care less.

2. Daygame and nightgame in your spare time.

Self-explanatory and the forum was built on the premise of that. When I was starting out in the 9 to 5 life, I spent weekends going to bars and clubs for nightgame but the problem was that I noticed a lot of my Saturday and Sunday afternoons were being burned to the ground given that that I was going to sleep at 4 or 5 AM on some nights!

3. For those of us who have this option, linking up with old college friends and crew.

This assuming you were a social and popular person in your college days. You go around linking up with your old crew and keep on meeting new people through them or getting to know people who you just barely knew in college.

4. Cool side gig, hobby or job.

The controversial one that has been a heated debate and we all have mixed feelings on it. I am finding that is tough to get a job at most bars and nightclubs when you have a 9 to 5 in most cases, maybe I am not trying hard enough but they just don't hire exclusively for the weekends. Not going to give up there but perhaps there are other game-friendly hobbies, gigs and things you can do on weekends as well.

Given that we are speaking about making the most of game, I am not a fan of videogames, board games and loner hobbies.

About all I have and will add more later on but if you guys have more ideas, stories or creative proposals, I am all ears!

Go for a daily walk and run daygame/night game. You get exercise and can practice game daily.

I had a Sri Lankan friend from Australia, who was DJing in Miami; I know he wasn't working a corporate/office job like us. He would go for a 30 minute - 1 hour walk daily in the evening on South Beach and run game.

I read studies where walking is more beneficial for your health long-term than jogging/running. As a corporate slave in corporate america, walking/exercise is definitely needed to handle the stress, office politics (feminism/racism) and be generally fit.

Going to the gym, obviously as well. I currently do not need a gym to complete my daily exercise routines. Maybe when winter comes...and it gets cold...

Wallstreet Playboys (http://wallstreetplayboys.com/) provide good information in relation to this. I've used their information, and have been successful in India

Step 1: Turn off your PC.
Step 2: Walk outside in the real world and not the one in your head.
Step 3: Start having a REAL life!

I've been criticizing you on other threads, honestly absolutely nothing personal, but it feels like you're over analyzing so many aspects that looks like you've lost the sense of reality!
Good luck my friend, I really hope you take the advice!

Exactly. I get the feeling he is a good dude, but just needs to break out of his shell ASAP. Beer, doesn't matter whether you're a white collar corporate worker, bartender, hustler, business owner, whatever.....embrace whatever you have going to the fullest & just get out there in the real world & do the damn thing! We know you can do it. You have shared some success stories here & there. Try to replicate some of those same strategies moving forward & just keep executing. Once you start enjoying life time will start flying! We all have slumps here & there, but the key is to shake out of it & keep it moving.
