Thinking about this, I don't think I've ever banged a Republican. Plenty of apolitical girls but actively conservative, none.

Doutzen is dutch, and speaks dutch. The flemish language is essentially dutch with a different accent, so it's not a separate language. Flanders is the dutch-speaking (or flemish if you will) part of Belgium. Flanders is also catholic whereas the Netherlands is protestant. That is part of the reason why the two cultures and as a result the women are different in my opinion.

You're right, my bad. Doutzen is actually a Frisian speaker. Not sure why I had Flemish in my head.

She's from Friesland. What do we know about that region as a potential source of traditional-minded women? Could you offer some intel?
It must be a goldmine if there are many more out there with Doutzen's mindset. Her devotion to her family is admirable, as is her approach to family life.

I just love the approach she has taken to her family life and the priority she seems to have given it. I don't usually say things like this, but I suspect this fellow really hit the jackpot with her. Truly a high-quality woman.

Are there a lot of these in Friesland?

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

Friesland is the most north-western part of the Netherlands and has their own little "nationality" and identity. Frisian is considered a separate language indeed. I read somewhere that because of that geografical isolation and the lack of foreign rulers (spanish, french,...) the Frisians the "purest" of all germanics. I was there for one week years ago and remember seeing hordes of blonde chicks. As for the familyoriented part I don't know exactly but I expect it is the same as other rural parts, so pretty familyoriented.

I would start with Vietnam. It's not Thailand and it's not Cambodia; for the most part in Vietnam, good girls "don't," at least not easily. Even with all the smartphone penetration I've seen so far (been here for a week or so), the culture is still solid as it was when I was last here 18 years ago. There's a whole thread or two on this, but just throwing this out there - Vietnamese women would probably fall into the conservative category, whether they are buddist or catholic.

PS - yes, Frisland is as described above, but as with the rest of the Netherlands, if you ain't Dutch, you ain't much. Unless you are a native, you will find it very difficult to penetrate that culture - literally and figuratively.

I can imagine Frisians being traditional and similar to Basques from Spain and France as they're both peope that have haven sheltered geographically and culturally.

Surprised no one has mentionned Brazil. There are tons of devout Christians particulary in the soutern and interior states. Supermodel Adrianna Lima comes to mind, she was a virgin until she married at age 28.

I thought that nowadays Brazil was gone, and that it was full of liberal, tattoed women. Does anybody know about the current situation there?
