Wanna get more social? Get good with kids

Yes. You read that right. Get good with kids.

You see, being more social with the opposite sex is difficult, especially if you were those nerdy, introverted, Newton-like kind of kid while growing up. It can be hassle to reframe your mindset to being outgoing with women because you're outcome dependent. And who can blame you? You were taught to solve equations correctly without errors. Making mistakes or being carefree with the result wasn't part of your formal education. And while the PUA community can toss phrases like NLP, affirmations, managing expectations, these things don't always translate to social outgoingness.

But there's a better way

Getting good with kids.

Yes, I know. Kids are annoying, petulant little creatures. But so are women

1. Conversations with kids are meandering and almost useless banter

Kids talk about the most mundane things because that's all the know. They went to the park? They're going to tell you all about it. They lent their pencil to a friend in class and hr didn't give it back? They're going to hash it out with you.

And what are you going to do? You're going to follow them up. You're going to ask all these penetrating questions like "What was the shape of the pencil", " How did he make you feel", "Did you see your friends at the park?, what were they wearing?" You're literally going to dumb it down and converse with them on a playful level.

2. Because of their useless banter, you're outcome independent

You're not trying to bang them or con them. You're just enjoying a long winded conversation. So there's no pressure on you to do anything. You're enjoying the moment. And this is the ideal frame for conversing with women. You're not worried about impressing the kid, so you're just having a fun conversation with a kid.

3. You become more expressive and colorful

Most kids have a limited diction. So most of their communication is nonverbal. Interacting with them makes you more acute in observing moods, expressions and tonality. You been to inflect your voice when you're excited with them, develop what I term 'a sparkling eye' that is fun-filled and jovial, gesticulating better and use of colorful speech. These things iron themselves out more as you begin to interact more with children.

At the end of the day, these traits will segue into your everyday conversational frame with people.

While PUAs talk about the alpha, Don Corleone kinda frame, I don't think its suitable for everyone. If you're physically intimidating this might suit you, but for small, nonthreatening guys, better to adopt the playful frame.

As Château Heartiste once said... Best to play into your strengths.

Its no surprise that women are often attracted to men who are very good with kids.

The danger of this playful frame is that it lacks the sexusl undertone needed to bang her and a certain level of seriousness.

With frequent interactions with the opposite sex, you'll calibrate your playful vibe from a more social plane to a more sexual plane.

Fixed for you but your post could quite misunderstood, Best to play into your strengths but if your strength is being good with kids you need to change something.
Left the kids alone, fuck the mum hard but don't hang around them with all the paedo stuff happening you must be really alpha to take such risks...

As a father if you're talk to my kids and my kids like you it will raise a massive red flag, being good with kids get you, either, in the suspicious dude case, the "good beta BF" one or worst in the improvised baby sitter one.

The guys who invented the Social Engineer Toolkit said in one of their podcast that they, with a FBI profiler, tried to make kids aware of adults kidnappers and they failed tremendously and the first thing they noticed is that those kidnappers are so good with kids that it lower their defenses instantaneously, hence them getting took away...

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

there are lots of knowledge shared in this thread. I agree 100% that being good with kids is equal to being good with women. Oh life.

You only have to deal with kids if you're (god forbid) seeing single moms and women above 30s (gross!).

Don't any of you have nieces and nephews, and friends with kids? I agree the hysteria about pedos makes it seem risky to interact with kids and like them, but that's just the messed up world we live in. It should be considered natural and healthy for men to get along well with children.

I agree with the OP that learning to relate well with kids is similar to relating to women. Many men learning game have to specifically learn to stop talking to women the same way they talk to men. Thinking about the way you talk to kids is a way to help understand the difference.

That being said, I think the OP probably quoted almost all of the post from other sources, NTP style. He should provide quotes and links when presenting someone else's ideas, and provide his own thoughts and comments as his own.

In my line of work I deal with a good number of kids and its funny when I interact with girls under 12 years of age, you can really see how they begin to develop into women even at that early age. They'll do the same kind of shit testing, seeing what they can get away with. It's very eye opening to interact with some of these young girls, you can learn a lot about how females become how they become. Young female girls will use their femininity to try and get what they want. Being good with kids can definitely help you relate to women because a lot of women do have childlike tendencies. Stuff like placing boundaries of acceptable behavior, rewarding good behavior, punishing bad behavior, maintaining frame, these are all things that you associate with dealing with women but you have to do the exact same things with kids too. Now it doesn't mean that if you're good with kids that you'll automatically be good with women but there are some common themes that you can translate from kids to female adults.
