I know a few Saffers. A good number of the Dr's here are Afrikaaners who have left RSA. Social guys but they work hard and grill you if you **** up during rounds.

As I enjoy Cricket, we chat about sports sometimes. Joburg has always held some appeal but I hear Cape Town is the jewel in the crown.

FTR I gather Wits is a top draw university? Lots of alumni teaching/resident in med schools here.

I met a black South African au pair in the US (got the flag) and she explained to me some about the different native African tribes in SA, which languages they speak, the differences in their cultures, and their relationship with the national and local governments. Is this useful knowledge to impress the local black women there when gaming, such as trying to guess which tribe they belong to after asking what second language they speak, or would they rather talk about other things?

It probably would man. When Kendrick dropped TPAB a whole bunch of chicks were going on on Facebook about the song "How Much A Dollar Cost" which is about an 'incident' he encountered when he was here.

My friend was also impressed by the line in The Blacker The Berry, where he is talking about the conflict between Zulu and Xhosa. It shows genuine interest.

Personally, I think, there is a misconception about South Africa. Like most places in the world it depends where you go, I was in Cape Town and there huge miss of people. I went to Joburg and was slightly different. The people were a lot more friendly. But the blend of people what was a lot more limited. I would recommend experiencing both, don't worry flights aren't that expensive. I checked out “www.flysafair.co.za” at the flight cost $50. Apparently, Durban also has a very different feel, didn't get the chance to check out, but wish I had just for a comparison. Basically, I think comparison and experience and are important before reaching a conclusion.

Showing some interest and knowledge is always a good thing, as well as a phrase or two of the vernacular. But even better: know the stereotypes about a given African tribe or nationality, and use it to tease her. Will make them both giggle and qualify themselves.

I'm still confused about the cost of living in SA. Will a guy coming from an east asian country like Taiwan find it expensive?

Johannesburg, South Africa [Datasheet]

I had the pleasure of visiting Johannesburg for a business trip this past weekend and admittedly, it was too short as I had an absolute belter of a time.

I stayed in Sandton and it’s quite north but the Ubers were relatively inexpensive. Every woman thought I was loaded as Sandton is the financial hub of South Africa.

Clubs/Bars

86 on Public (Illovo) – it’s a restaurant that turns in to a bar, I visited on Friday and Saturday.

Six bar (Melville) – it’s a bar in a student area, good for day2s. Met a girl off tinder here.

Kitchener’s (Braamfontein) – dive bar in Braamfontein next to Great Dane. Would not recommend, dodgy area and shitty music full of ‘woke’ kids.

Hashtag (Craighall) – this was recommended by all beautiful women I asked. This was pretty much my opener. Decent music and lots of hot women.

Rooftop Salsa (Maboneng) - recommended by a salsa instructor I know, did not disappoint, good for afternoon drinks

Women & Going Out

Women blew away any expectations as they were beautiful, plentiful and friendly.
I re-installed Tinder for my trip and got lots of matches in Johannesburg.

Friday
I had a meeting followed by a business dinner that ended at 12, popped in with a mate to 86. It was absolutely rocking and people were already drunk. I was sober as a judge so it was a bit annoying but I still had a decent time for about an hour. I was checking this girl out and she was smiling at me. Young, about 22. I went to the bar and passed by her and this guy with her followed me. I didn’t intend on opening as I was trying to figure out if that was her boyfriend.

He decided to walk up to me and ask me if I liked her. I could tell he was trying to start shit, I didn’t even move/blink and just stared him down and told him to go back to his girl. My mate stepped in and asked if there was a problem. He promptly fucked off but this ruined my vibe so I got an uber home and had an early one.

I did see him running after her though and not getting any before I got home, so I had a good chuckle at that.

86 on Friday had the most beautiful and plentiful amount of 19-25 year olds I’ve seen in 201. Very cliquey and full of groups. Had I gone earlier and adjusted my state to the state around, it would be easy… Enter Saturday.

Saturday
Matched with a girl at 3PM on Tinder, she met me in Melville by 3:30PM. She was very keen, it was a bit worrying but whatever, I invited her to join my friends. Black girl (7.5) who looked super high maintenance with a red fox coat, she immediately ordered shots as she sat with me and wanted her own tab. Cool. We’re chatting and she’s interesting but I get the gold digger vibe. My mates want to leave so I leave her there alone, thinking I will find another girl and forget about this one.

2 hours later, we’re at Kitchener’s and she messages me to see where I am and I drop a pin. She says she is bringing a friend. Sweet.

She shows up with some American GUY 20 minutes later, I look at my friends and laugh. Proceed to ignore her and let the girls in our group speak to her. Kitchener’s was shitty, so we got an uber and went to 86 where she followed with this guy on a leash.

This girl sits down and is looking drunk and moody. She proceeds to drop the weakest game of 2018:

Her: “It’s between you and this guy but you’re ahead. I want you to win, how badly do you want to fuck me?”
Me: 50centdrivingoff.gif

She then tries to pull into me for a kiss, with this guy sitting literally next to me. I turn my face away and step back.

I turn to him and tell him “she’s your problem now” and I go to the bar to order some shots for the my actual friends. I see her vomiting on the chair next to her and I facepalm. She leaves with this guy and did not pay the bill. Bitch.

I felt like a chump for 2 minutes and then thought fuck it, $10 is a small price to pay to get rid of this bitch and her pet.

We all had celebratory shots that she fucked off and a good laugh and I started working the crowd.

The quality was stunning once again and I opened 4 groups of 8s with “what are we doing after this?”. They all responded enthusiastically and 3 of the 4 groups told me that Hashtag would be kicking off.

In Cape Town, most girls would ask "Who are you etc." whereas these girls were immediately "Oh don't you know that Hashtag is the place to be?" -> "I am not from here" -> casual flirting and going back and forth.

The time comes to go to Hashtag and we had another Uber XL and space.

I told my mates to hang on for 60 seconds and I walked around 86.

Saw a black girl sitting alone.

Me: “Where are your friends?”
Her: “I don’t know”
Me: “I have an uber outside and a seat for you, message your friends we are going to Hashtag, let’s go”
Her: “OK”

I was super confident at this point so she bought it hook line and sinker.

I enter the Uber with this girl and my friends, naturally, are wondering who the fuck she is.

We roll up to Hashtag and the other 3 groups of girls are there and pretty stoked to see us.

Black girl’s friend also comes through and starts hooking up with one of my friends.
The crazy thing is that I am making out with this girl in the smoking area and an 8 from one of the groups from 86 taps me on the shoulder with her Instagram and asks me for mine. I comply. She starts flirting. My girl is still there and decides to find her friend.

Within 2 minutes the group surrounds me, flirting, calling me a player, asking for my facebook and Instagram.

I give them the IG and shoo them off. This happened later with another group (!).

I walk black girl’s friend to her car where she gives me the usual ‘take care of my friend, I don’t usually let her go blablabla’.

I invite her but she declines despite thinking about it and her hooking up with a mate in my group (I tried LOL). I was running on so much confidence that I threw it out there anyway.

I proceed to go home with this girl and my mate’s fiancee has left a key under the mat (this is the wingwoman I mention in other FRs).

Wake up in the morning to hear the other boys wanted to go to a strip club (Summit) in Hillbrow (dodgy af) and got jumped by 7 guys as they exited the uber but thankfully only 1 phone was taken.

As for the other group of girls, they are all messaging me and I am their ‘guy’ in Cape Town. We shall see when the time comes.

It’s common for JHB women to visit CPT often so I have set up a pipeline of 6-7 girls and I will show them around when they come down.

I am more amazed by the 4 who were immune to me hooking up with another girl and were actually trying to interrupt and cockblock to get their own. They weren’t put off.

Sunday
I went to Maboneng and the Salsa club with some friends. This is a good day2 place. I was going to meet the salsa instructor but she went later than I did and I missed her. Still had a blast and networked a bit.

Came home early to relax and watch the World Cup.

On Monday, I visited Nelson Mandela Square for lunch and to kill some time before my flight and it was populated with hotties everywhere. These women either don’t work or were on lunch breaks as they were South African 100%.

At sunglass hut, I was wearing different shades and bringing girls around me into my vibe by asking them for their thoughts and then critiquing their own glasses.
Walking around, lots of women hold eye contact, do double takes and generally are quite forward.

This was the case around JHB but moreso in the mall.

I didn't even manage to see the girls I pipelined off tinder or knew from Cape Town.

I will definitely be back, it exceeded all expectations; women are easier than Cape Town and on par, beauty-wise.

Cape Town might be better in the summer (especially due to the models that stay here) but JHB is all around fantastic.

Interesting, sounds like women are friendly in Joburg. I am a bit surprised by that dude starting shit just because you were looking at that girl, is it a common thing in SA?

Women seem to be like I like them (dark, friendly and curvy) but living in a gated community with armed guards and watching my back whenever I walk alone is something I am not sure I can handle.

I feel like this thread may be slightly misleading. As a native Joburger (family has been year since 1890 - pretty much since inception), who has associations with both of the city's leading two universities (Wits and UJ) and knows pretty much most of Jhb better than most people (except for the West Rand) I can confirm that the quality across the board (across races) is pretty poor (in terms of aesthetics, they can be friendly though).

South Africa is a beautiful country (in terms of nature and its ostensible spirit) but Johannesburg is its ugly backroom. If you're in SA check-in by all means but you won't be finding diamonds easily here.

I have been in Joburg for 4 days now. Though I have spent almost that entire time resting in my airbnb in Maboneng, I can say what I've seen so far hasn't been encouraging.

I literally haven't seen ONE beautiful girl in the city (facially). A few okay ones were spotted at the airport, but they could be from anywhere. I made a very quick stop at a pub around the corner from me in Maboneng, and there was probably potential, but I only went in there at like 1 am to get water and get out immediately.

Once I'm rested from all the traveling and stress over the last week, I'll get around to actually experiencing the spots and checking out the girls.

Good thing is I have looked into South African girls for a while, and know they're not particularly pretty. Sexy with big ol' butts, but not really pretty, so I knew what I was signing up for. The big ol' butts will suffice, so all is well in the lands.

I’m general in places with a lot of poverty you really do have to hit the mid higher end bars and spots to see the top quality. It seems Noir did so his experience will differ from just checking out the streets.

Doesn’t mean the quality is small in quantity either, it’s just that walking random streets in the third world won’t give you a true idea of the quality available.

It's common with the jocks (boytjies) who are under 25 and can't really handle their booze. The boy backed off when he realized I am not a student or some punk ass kid spending his parent's money.

The irony is that JHB guys have the reputation for starting shit when they visit Cape Town.

Cape Town has better quality but JHB is definitely more concentrated i.e. pockets of hot women.

Precisely, my JHB mates and locals knew the spots and we targeted those.

Out of the places I went to, Kitcheners and Six Bar were below par and full of average women with 'woke' clothing.

An hour walk in Nelson Mandela Square and the malls surrounding had many 8+s simply due to the fact it's the economic/financial hub of Africa.

All the women flock to $$ and I target them. I was also staying in Sandton so naturally, being around money = being around hotter women.

Regardless, they were pretty easy and laid back. If you look like you belong there, then no stress.

They are pretty big on the social media (surprise) and my instagram and FB are buzzing because they want a glimpse of the lifestyle and to see if I walk the walk that I talk.

Chicks aside, I had a blast in JHB, lots of culture, great pace and the history is mighty interesting.

Many 8+ women walking around Nelson Mandela Square? Mind posting random pics of women you deem 8+. I had a mate whose dad owned a food joint at Sandton City and spent many a weekend just chilling in the vicinity. Good potential but many 7s is probably more accurate (not even close to V&A). Kitcheners and six bar are both probably sparse this time of year given the winter vac - chief chill spot for witsies.and UJ students respectively.

Regardless pussy is easy in Jhb and a guy like Noir who has his shit in order and is making bank will die suffocating on some big ass eventually.

I had a job offer a few years ago in Joburg and was supposed to stay in a 5 stars hotel in Sandton. A colleague who is from there dissuaded me from going, he said that for someone raised in western Europe the safety issues are too constraining, he mentioned his wife being mugged in a mall, his house being robbed multiple times and when I started doing my research I’ve read about the 50 homicides/day, car jacking and racial tensions, gated communities with barbwire...Needless to say I declined the offer.

I think if I have a similar offer today I would go, salary wasn’t exceptional but cost of life seemed low...at the time I wanted to stay in Europe but sometimes I regret my choice.

I have read in other threads that SA girls have donkey booties, is that true? If yes it could be a trigger factor [Image: smile.gif]

Donkey booties are most definitely to be had here. The kind you're guaranteed to find nowhere else.

As far as traveling goes, I prefer to go and experience places myself (barring Aghanistan or Baghdad type places, of course).

There's a fine line between sensible cautiousness and paranoia. Being too cautious only guarantees people miss out on too many of life's offerings.

I'd rather not derail this thread mulling over what constitutes an 8, you will have to take my word for it.

For what it's worth, the women in NMS > V&A Waterfront, especially locals.

Of course, I generally ignore anything 7 and below so perhaps my radar didn't even pick them up but I was very surprised with the quality of women.

The women from JHB that I know in CPT are also 7s with a few 8s sprinkled in but Nelson Mandela Square had hot women as did 86.

I agree with this however doing tourism for few weeks and living there for 1 or 2 years is a different story.

I heard that people are very social and it’s easy to make friends and get invited at barbecues and parties, this + the big booties and hot climate might convince me to give it a try if I get another offer.

Hot climate would depend on the time of year. If you come around this time, it's damn near freezing, with temperatures in the 30s (around 4c).

Makes it real hard to appreciate all those sexy butts in their winter clothing.
