What Are Some Dreams and Nightmares You've Had?

I once had a dream in which I was on a church youth group trip to a movie theatre.

Yet, for some reason, the entire facility was staffed by hundreds of midgets. They were everywhere, like every inch of the floor was occupied by midgets.

Then, out of nowhere, a group of them pushed in a wheelbarrow heading straight for me.

It was full of ketchup. They scooped me into the wheelbarrow, covering me in ketchup. Just as they started to drive me off, I woke up.

Explain that one...

Funny you posted this today because I was just talking about this over supper with friends. The most fucked up sleep related thing that ever happened to me was during the peak of my quarter life crisis when I was 24. In the span of two weeks I got dumped by my girlfriend, broke my ankle, got evicted from my apartment, got fired from my job and was involved in a massive street brawl that involved my friend getting boot fucked by five guys and I thought he was dead, I had to drag his ass into a taxi because the ambulance wouldn’t stop because the brawl was ongoing when they arrived. He ended up with a concussion and fifteen stitches in his forehead.

Anyway, I was stressed to the max and crashing on a friend’s mattress in his basement next to a brick wall. I woke up one morning and felt weird, my hands hurt, once I got up I saw that my knuckles were all skinned and bloody. I realized I was punching the brick wall in my sleep but had no recollection of it. I thought “damn, that’s fucked up” so went to shower. As soon as the water came on and touched my head, I felt pain so got out of the shower to dry off then realized that my head was all beat up and skinned/bloody too.

So basically as I slept I got in a fight with the brick wall and smashed my head into it and punched it to the point that my knuckles and noggin were bloody and beat to shit. Absolutely no memory of it.

Moral of the story. If you and your friends find a guy sleepwalking, don't assume he won't put up a fight, or even wake up during it for that matter.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

What Are Some Dreams and Nightmares You've Had?

I've had dreams that I've inherited where I fought in the Navy in WW2 like my Grandfather, and I've also had dreams where I experienced what it would've been liked living as my parents when they were growing up. My parents are currently in their 50s and 60s now, and I'm in my upper 20s. Scientists believe that transgenerational epigenetic inheritance is a real phenomena. Our parents, grandparents and ancestors memories are encoded in our DNA. Some of my dreams and nightmares come from real life events in the Old and New Testament: Moses, the building of the Pyramids, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the resurrection. I also had a nightmare where I broke my rib. As I lay unconscious, God took my rib and fashioned it into a woman who nursed me back to health and gave me children. Why the rib you may ask? Science states that the rib is the only bone out of 206 in the human body that is able regrow itself.

What Are Some Dreams and Nightmares You've Had?

In the last month, I have had two interesting dreams.

The first, I toured Wales in a car with a middle aged Joe Fraizer, just talking about the scenery and life. It was a great dream. Joe Fraizer seemed like such a nice guy from what I have read and seen in interviews with him.

The second was I was at a fairground at night with an early 20's Muhammad Ali. He was walking around showboating and everything.

They were both wearing black suits in these dreams.

Have any of you guys ever been doing something, and then freeze, thinking 'I've dreamt that this exact moment would happen' and you're sure that in the preceding months/years you've dreamt this exact moment and now it's happening. The human brain is truly an amazing thing.

A friend of mine had a horse which had some health issues and the vet did not know what was ailing him. Then he had a dream where he met his horse at a bar. They sat down for a drink and then his horse told him what it's troubles were and what to look for. He woke up and told the vet that very morning. Turns out that this was it and his horse got healthy again.

No matter whether you explain it via extended human mental power or divine help - dreams are very often useful.

What Are Some Dreams and Nightmares You've Had?

I dreamed I was hanging out with a blogger I used to follow until he died this year. He was a cynical bastard, though sometimes it seemed like he was a good dude underneath, and when I was with him we were walking the streets and found Christmas lights lying all around, which we collected.

I started to say something sarcastic like that we should throw them away, and that the people who lost them deserved it.

He looked at me more genially than I would have thought possible, and said, naw, let's put up Christmas lights. And so we went around putting the lights up on the trees outside people's houses.

I woke up from the dream feeling like I had somehow actually connected with his spirit after death, and that he was letting me know that he had put away most of the cynicism and was happy now.

Like I said though, it was just a feeling.

I respected his writing so much, and interacted with him a bit, and mainy like him because he thought in a completely different way from me, he was an engineer by trade, and he applied his nuts and bolts practical knowledge to human psychology.

But I didn't know it at the time, because if you had asked me, I would have said I just appreciated his blog, and that was it.

He died in March, his last post about how he had some scary pain, had to go to the hospital, and found the hospital to be so disgustingly unsanitary that he checked himself out against doctor's orders.

The title of the blog post was:

Death Dodging

And that was it, he died. No more posts. His girlfriend let people know in the comments that he had died, and people thought it was a troll for a while but eventually believed.

What was weird about it was that his death really affected me, and I felt like I knew him, and that was strange even to me, and as a kind of tribute to him I saved his website and went back and reread it from the beginning, and noticed that over the years I had adopted some of his ways of writing, mainly expressions he used.

It was after I read everything that the feelings went away. I also did some digging, since he blogged anonymously, to find out who he was and if he had really died, and found that he had.

So that was it. An odd interlude in my life. How could the death of someone I don't even know feel like the loss of a friend? I hardly interacted with him.

He has been referred to several times on the forum, Aurini and thoughtgypsy are members who I have heard talk about him, but I asked Aurini and he said he didn't really know him.

I waited, and there were very few people who even mentioned his passing, and he had a lot of intelligent men out there who were his fans, but only one or two blogs even mentioned he was gone.

I guess that was part of it, not only the suddenness, but the idea that someone who was so smart, so funny, who had so much to offer could disappear like that and no one would notice, it seems. There wasn't the anticipation and the big send off like the passing of forum member Private Man. He was just gone.

That was back in early April, and this dream was just a few nights ago. I make no claims to have contacted the dead, even if that is what it felt like. It could just be that all that time I wasn't even thinking about him my unconscious mind was resolving my feelings below the surface, and presenting a resolved emotional issue to me.

Either way, I was grateful for that dream, and greatful for that dude, AfOR (Anonymous for Obvious Reasons)was his name, and his blog was:

Wimminz - celebrating skank ho's everywhere.

It's still up. Pretty black pill in some ways, pretty hopeful in others. Excellent advice for men who are going through the twin demons of divorce and false rape allegations at the same time.

Wonder why he seemed bitter sometimes.

RIP AfOR.

< It's a pity because I feel that an orthomolecular doctor might have given him a chance. The body requires a huge amount of nutrients to regenerate and he was likely lacking on that front for decades.

But that is modern medicine - just claims of expensive urine wiping away the criticism of the 1950s-levels of RDAs of nutrients - all despite decades of contrary evidence.

He was likely in a critical situation with his heart being quite weak. That can go quite fast.

Private Man was strong as a horse, just had cancer eating away at him and he said good-bye publicly before it got too debilitating.

Ultimately it's all an individual experience we are on here. Everyone is born with an expiry date - what matters is what you do between those two dates.

He was a former biker, and did his share of drugs, drank some, and still smoked. With his engineer's approach to everything, you would have thought he would have done the same for the machine of his body. He never talked about health issues except to say that he raw dogged and taking a good piss and washing after was good enough for him.

There was a lot of pain though in his posts, and the false rape accusation and false abuse accusations during his divorce were the defining moment in his life, when he realized that he would have been a slave for life if he did what the courts were telling him to do, so he had to let go of all contact to his sons, and his blog was a kind of mentoring for a lot of men out there, and he would sometimes say that it was all there if his sons ever wanted to look it up.

The rest of his days were a big fuck you to society, and it is hard to gauge the effects on the body of the psychic shock of going from living your life to being arrested, having all your computers confiscated, being in jail, and trying to get out and clear your name in a game you don't know the rules of.

In the old days they might have said it broke his heart and he never recovered. Not that the old bastard would have admitted any of this.

It is possible that in some way he never recovered from that experience and was unconsciously committing slow suicide for the rest of his life.

If anyone would have known about alternative medicine, if he had wanted to, it would have been him.

He has an excellent False Rape Survival Guide that should be in the library of every man who is planning to have a long term relationship with a woman.

I'll put it here:

I dream about flying and bizarre religious/demonic themes. 2 nights ago, I dreamed I was assisting a priest in an exorcism and things went wrong. The possessed dude looked at me and forced me out of my body. I was floating around trying to reattach to my body and traveled to the house next door where my neighbors were discussing getting a new dog. Crazy part - they just told me an hour ago that they're getting a new puppy.

Anyone else have lucid dreams?

I would interpret that one to mean that your usual spiritual habits and practices are no longer working, and you have been tossed spiritually into the deep end and will have to see if you can swim. You are going to have to find new ways to understand the spiritual aspect of things and it will be experiential and not from churches or books.

The fact that you seem to have traveled astrally is an added bit of authenticity, designed to get your attention, that is telling you you need to listen to this dream.

I still have nightmares of a fundamentalist Christian college I went to and leaving it constantly. Too cultish for my taste and left me second-guessing Christianity after encounters with Bible Thumpers.

I don't really remember nightmares. My last vivid dream had me leading a small Mormon army into battle against a giant group of outlaw bikers -- think Sons of Anarchy -- in a Walmart parking lot. And I'm not even Mormon.

Had a most excellent dream last night. It was in Ukraine/Russia. The cavalry was charging, dressed in gold, spectacular. Their opponents: blue-haired freak SJW. Easy match.

I quit smoking weed recently after being a daily toker for about five years. Had some very vivid and intense dreams lately.

- shooting someone in a self defense situation and trying to justify my actions to the police

- wandering an abandoned town in the snow, searching for my friend

- my Keurig coffee machine overflowing

- banging my ex again

- walking around my childhood neighborhood with a hot chick I've never met and ending up at Blockbuster video

- recurring dreams of my time in the Army

I don't think dreams mean anything. Just crazy shit your mind projects when you're unconscious

I've had dreams where I was able to reconnect with past dead celebrities and political figures. I've also had a dream where I was like .01% body fat and just about pure muscle. I was having sex with the most beautiful women. I also had a nightmare where my parents gone in so much debt, they had to send me to a bordello to pay it off. In the nightmare I had to "service" women I didn't want to sleep with (old teachers, and old maids etc.) Obviously, I like the previous dream better.

I had this weird dream from Afghanistan …

...the "senior" member on this forum named Cobra was caught fucking a little boy in a hut

My squad stopped him raping the boy and asked what should we do next.

I then shot the filthy faggot.

But the filthy faggot did not die.

What do you think it means?

My dreams are usually just...odd, rather than being good or frightful. The dreams I've found stressful are usually the ones where I think I'm incredibly late for work, or I've taken a week's vacation without telling work. Or, I've found myself up a tower crane as it's being constructed. A piece is being manoeuvred into place, and it's my job to fix it in place, but I'm thinking 'I have no knowledge of how to do this job', and panicking as I imagine the whole thing collapsing. My dreams have always been in full colour, I don't remember seeing anything about people dreaming in black and white.

Anyway, a recent one that stuck in my head was where I found myself waiting on a train platform at a station called Carlisle, which was nothing like the actual Carlisle station. My dreams move forward in short bursts with no logical connection between them, so in the first instance a train came to stop at the platform.

Next thing I know, I'm assfucking an 8 on the tracks, just behind the train. I take time to pull my cock out of her ass, noticing all the lube on there.

I wake up pretty much straight after that.

...For the record, I don't drink or take any drugs.

I had a dream the other night where I was at some get together with a bunch of young people in their 20's. They were around a long table, some sitting and some standing. They were all watching something on TV, and also talking. I noticed some started doing sign language to translate what others were saying. It didn't seem as if any deaf people were there. They were just into sign language.

Once I started noticing this in the dream, it seemed like all the sudden almost everybody started doing sign language, and then started dancing as they signed, with their arms out or above their heads.

All the sudden, some kind of cartoon came on, and they all started singing along with the theme song. Ninja man! Ninja man! N I N J A M A N Ninja man! ( I've never heard this in real life, but that's what they sang in the dream).

I was standing back a little from the group as all of this was happening, and I thought, man, these young people are into weird stuff I really can't get into the way they do. I went into the bathroom in part to get a little separation from this weird scene, and took a leak.

At this point, I woke up, and realized I needed to take a leak.

I'm the tower of power, too sweet to be sour. I'm funky like a monkey. Sky's the limit and space is the place!
