My Nine Year Forum Anniversary

As of today, I have been a member of this forum for nine years.

First off, how is it I never got banned?

Second, I'd like to thank Roosh V for keeping it going so damn long. The forum has clearly helped a lot of dudes get through whatever, get better at whatever, or grow into whatever. Hes touched a lotta lives, and to continue to do so, is really admirable. So big mahalo to him.

A lot has changed with me over those nine years. I credit this forum for a plethora of those changes. Fresh out of the Navy, after winning the war on terror, i found this place. I was a kid. Now im a wise old seaman.

I've seen a lotta good guys come and go, and I'm happy that so many good ones are still here. Hence, my second thank you goes out to all the rest of the members. Mazel tov to every single one of you.

I sincerely hope that some of you have put whatever info I've ever written on here to goid use. It appears that over 18000 people have liked my posts, so maybe there's something there.

Who knows, I'm just a Hawaiian that likes a reason to celebrate. I'm a positive guy. I catch fish, get laid, drink beer and surf every now and then.

All this means that the forums had a positive impact on my life, and I hope it does for the rest of you. Even the haoles.

So tonight I hope many of you enjoy a Busch Beer or two, and maybe harass some bitches in the meanwhile. That's what I'll be up to.

I might go and get a pint Kona Big Wave beer wine my local pub opens. Not in order to celebrate but just because I like the beer. Congrats mate, Here's to the next 9. Cheers.

To celebrate, here are the Beach Boys with "Kona Coast," a song that inevitably pops into my head when I see Kona's name. This is from their 1978 effort The M.I.U. Album, which most people hate, but I've always loved.

("Kona Coast," by the way, could be considered a very loose early draft of their mega-hit from ten years later, "Kokomo." It's also based on a far superior song they did 15 years earlier in 1963, "Hawaii.")

Congrats Kona, first thing that comes to mind when I think of you is "old seaman".

Congrats on the anniversary Kona. Thanks for all the shared wisdom wrapped up in laughs. Your racist mechanic story is still one of the funniest things Ive ever read. I dont know your sister but whoever marries her will be a lucky guy if he gets to drink Busch and go fishing with his brother-in-law

Wait, are you really jewish or is there some inside joke I'm not getting? The Hawaiian Jew has to be about as rare as the Kashmir Flag. And congrats btw. You're contributions have been fantastic.

Posts like these and the opening post from Kona remind me why I enjoy the actual diversity on the forum. So many men with interesting experiences and knowledge to share.

I'm happy for Kona as he is definitely a solid RVF member and always good for a few light hearted laughs.

I'm also happy that DOBA is back and sharing his opinions with us instead of reserving them solely for the ladies:

I gave you a rep point. Some questions you don't want answered.
