Unrelated to Brazil Election, but this is terrible to see Brazil's historical artifacts in a museum that's engulfed in a fire.

The museum used to be the home of Brazilian royal family. The declaration of independence was signed there on 2 September 1822, the same date of the fire. The Museum of Independence in São Paulo, where the Independence fight began, is closed since 2013.
After Europe, Brazil is the place where globalism has advanced faster. Recently, the central government gave 800,000 Reais to a Queer Museum. At the same time, the government denied something around 500,000 for the maintenance of the National Museum.
The man responsible for the administration of the National Museum is member of an ultra-leftist party that sponsors Antifas in Brazil. He is blaming fiscal orthodoxy for the burning. The whole mainstream media agrees with him.
Curiosity: some mummies were burned in the fire. There was a plague in Ancient Egypt that burning a mummy gives you the worst disgraces on earth.

This is very suspect frankly. I would not be surprised if countless paintings end up in some private collections while some cheap copies get burned to cinder. Someone might have made hundreds of millions or even billions on that day. Corruption comes in many facets and this kind of negligence is insane, however it's endemic to low-functioning countries.

Plus - terrorism or malice coinciding with the independence day is not impossible on top of financial reasoning.

But hey - the US can become Brazil.

Someone just stabbed Bolsonaro

He was visiting a city in Minas Gerais and someone in the middle of the crowd hit him with a sharp object in the stomach

Medical state is critical and unstable. If he survives, is because of god intervention.

Tragic news man. I really hope the guy pulls through.

If he pulls through he's going to win

Edit: What the Brazilian news is saying is that he's fine and that he's receiving a blood transfusion and is stable. From the video I posted it looked like the knife hit his intestines so no vital organs, just risk of blood loss.

Acording to the news the attacker was part of a commie political party until 2014, and in his FB page he was very critical of Temer and for the liberation for Lula.

Many internal organs affected (liver, stomach, large intestine, small intestine)

Even if he survives (God help him), he will suffer from sequels forever.

Stabber identified as a leftist militant. Yesterday, Brazil's Federal police recommended Bolsonaro not attending the meeting, because of death threats from LGBTQ groups. The city where he was stabbed holds one of the most powerful LGBTQ groups in the country.

Conservative pundits are betting that the stabber was hired by LGBTQ activists.

Mainstream media hides the political orientation of the stabber, but it is already clear.

TRUMP MUST MAKE AN STATEMENT! It is the largest democracy after America in the Western World, and Bolsonaro is a fierce anti-globalist.

UPDATE: Medical state is still critical, but now is stable. Doctors say it will be a long recovery. At least he is alive! Elections are in four weeks.

It shows how desperate the left is. They know they're weak. So they go crazy and try to kill off the leading candidate. If anything, this just sealed Bolsonaro's victory should he survive.

The left should hope that he makes it, or else this may be the start of something much much worse.

The left/communism is the biggest terror ideology right after Islam in the world. This kind of behavior is very common. It would happen every day with the SJWs in the West, if they were not as restrained as they are.

So it's absolutely natural for them to get violent.

The thing about violence in Brazil (and Latin America in general) is that people don't turn the other cheek unlike a lot of rightist cucks in the West. This WILL have violent blowback. Like they say, "Violence solves everything."

I occasionally check on Greenwald's Twitter. He's one of the few left wing guys I can say I respect. If you're interested in Brazilian politics and his take (He lives in Rio) from an American expat and renowned journalist, I suggest giving him a follow.

< Good. The misunderstanding with good people is that they must be all-time pacifists. I disagree with that - the difference between a suicidal shmuck and a good man is that the good man is fair and kind so long as it is possible. When his fairness is met with violence and hatred, then he instantly turns into a warrior and responds with unflinching violence.

Violence is golden in our world.

Unfortunately, this might be the beginning of a new trend: extremely violent attacks, assassination attempts even, against Conservative leaders, worldwide. Because the global Left has become so desperate and enraged at our numerous electoral victories, that we'll probably see more and more assaults like that across the world. Sad, and very worrying.

Also, the media are brewing so much hatred against the Right that they, MSM, bear a massive responsibility in these alt-Left attacks.

The Left has been in power in Brasil for 14 years. It doesn't seem like the country is better off.

This incident seems likely to spark more violence:

The globalists are fine with the serfs doing their thought-policing for them. Communism with some big-corpo-capitalist streaks will likely make a full comeback since they already announced that China's government is the model state for the world. Agenda 21 also states that they later want to phase out small businesses as much as possible.

We shall see.... Conservative candidates just have to be far more careful than in the past. He was warned and ignored it. I wouldn't.

I'm expecting strong support for Bolsonaro now. He seems to be stable, but it hit a lot of organs.

World politics is shaping to extremism.

Looks like liver and lung were not affected, but the medics have to cut at least 10cm of small intestine, and now the risk are infection and thrombosis. There is even a video of Bolsonaro speaking from his hospital bed.

Just another act of love and tolerance from the usual leftist scum. I hope he pulls through this horrific attack and still manages to MABA.

2ndly turning the other cheek is actually a response to being backhanded on the right as an insult and being treated as an inferior.

It is in response to the Law code of Lex Talonis or Eye for an Eye being applied to interpersonal relationships.

To not outcompete one's neighbour in personal vengeance escalation.

Like having garbage dumped in one's backyard and getting back at him by dumping even more garbage in his backyard and escalating.

At the same time assuming functional justice systems and ensuing justice to be served that way.

It has nothing to do with actual serious harm coming on one's person and the right to defend against that.
