To answer your question, no I have never heard of this. However, just by looking at the video I would have to say that this looks rather foolish to me. This reminded me of the shitty camp that I went to when I was nine so much that I would pass on it wholesale. I did not like it then, what makes you think that I would like it now. The people that go to this don't get the larger joke in the following meme:

which is joke of arrested development.

Taking a week off to go and develop a new or existing skill at a "camp" is perfectly fine as an adult. Spending a week learning how to sail, fly-fish, bow hunt, and fly are all things that I would love to do. I would go to camp to learn those skills among others. What is shown in the above link is another example of the culture allowing adults to not grow up. My Boy Scout summer camp 20 years ago was like camping with R-Lee Ermy compared to this shit:

We got a lot of bored adults in America. $625 bucks to meet American women. Rather buy a flight just about anywhere

This is like inviting a pal over for dinner, serving him a veggie burger, and pretending it's beef.

You are trying to sneak soy into the forum.

If you do go to camp, and get off the train in front of a place that looks like this:

Turn around and run away.

Aloha!
