Schedule 4 in Australia - oxiracetam

Been unlucky enough to have customs open up one of my parcels.

They held up my noopept and oxiracetam, for me to pull up the therapeutics' list to say neither of them on the list.

Hey, Australia and nanny state.

Anyway, they let the noopept through and held my oxiracetam saying its a derivative of piracetam. This is a schedule 4.

Anyways, if I have a prescription for a schedule 4 substance I can by-pass the hassle.

So, its an appealing to have this as a consistent work around rather than have to contest this all the time. However when I went to my GP, they didn't have a list of it and as far as they're concerned they're writing a prescription for something superfluous such as creatine or cornflour.

Anyone either have a surefire way of countering customs, or know of a GP in the Perth metro area who knows what it is and will prescribe it?

Or is the advice let it be seized and try my luck again?

Get the hell out of Australia mate. This story confirms to me how horrible their customs is.

How the hell is piracetam scheduled... no one has ever gotten high, let alone died on the stuff.

Thats fucked. Only choice you'd have is to try your luck with customs again unless you find a super open minded doctor or get lucky. Maybe go for more of a "bulk powder" Chinese route than a ceretropic big letter label route.
If its as benign as creatine it shouldn't be that hard to get a script for it I would think with enough convincing. Maybe a naturopath.

Godfather: racetams are prescription drugs in Russia I beleive so its not super far off.

Damn, I've been using Oxiracetam and Aniracetam for years and never knew it was considered a prescription drug in other countries. I suppose there's still a little freedom left in America after all. But I knew an Aussie in BKK that used to buy Test and other steriods in BKK pharmacies and then fly them into Australia. He said it was easier to get in on your person than it was having it shipped into Australia (even though the risk was obviously greater). Oxiracetam powder doesn't smell, so it may make sense to source the powder in Thailand or Indonesia, put it into a BCAA or generic over the counter powder supplement bottle, and stash it in your suitcase. If Customs opened the bottle there would be no way to discern what the powder is.

The problem with it being benign is when I went to my gp, he had no idea what I was talking about.

Its so far off the radar that he cant qualify dosage, etc.

So now I've got to hunt gps that probably prescribe modafinil on the sly just to find one who understands nootropics to begin with
