What is the most machiavellian thing that you did?

Title.
I want to hear some stories where subtle nuanced power play was used to sustain power or gain power over somebody else.

Ex. My friend (Let's call him B) let his other friend (M) borrow almost $100 bucks from him. He didn't pay back for a year, my friend B was cool about it.
Then he just asked again when M would pay him back.
My friend M was fucking around, disrespecting him that he was "petty", blah, blah blah.
(You know these people...passive-aggresive. lol.)

M said "next week", B gave him two weeks, and contacts him again.
Then, M is still spitting BS and switching topics. Now M is taunting B that he isn't scared of him, he can do whatever he wants.

B has given M several chances, now he goes to his house around 1am and slices all of his tires. They were relatively new. Maybe couple months old.

He goes back to his house after two week just to check what happened.
M has gotten new set of tires that were knife proof.
B couldn't slice them again. However, he got a quick revenge out of this situation. The new tires probably cost him at least $500+

Nothing happened afterwards. M doesn't know where B lives.
B blocks him on FB, delete his number, blocks his number.
(B has never said through texts that he will slice his tires or something, so there is no proof that it was him. Due process & innocent until proven guilty.)

What are some of your stories?

Lol, I would really appreciate further details on this one.

Why did she want $2500?
Did she had a financial problem?
What was her reaction when you proposed that idea of suicide?
So did she pay you back?

Revenge is the most useless, unmachiavellian thing to do. (But then of course revenge is sweet)

Is slashing somebody's tires because they owe you money "Machiavellian" or just being too lazy to go to small claims court?

Now, I generally frown on Machiavellianism because these days there's no such thing as keeping skeletons in your closet forever. That said, I've got a few good stories:

My favorite, and most relevant to this forum comes from my senior year in college. One of my best buddies had been being a real bitch lately, and moaning and groaning about this chick that kept friend-zoning him. He had the worst oneitis I've ever seen. I had been trying to introduce him to game and this forum, but he refused and kept giving me excuses. Those who know me in my personal life know I hate it when people give me excuses, so I knew I was going to have to pull a power-play to get him in line.

Anyway, November rolls around, and our large friend group took a trip to NYC for the day. The girl my buddy was pining over was there. On the bus, I hatched my scheme. I was going to show him the power of game in the most painful way possible.

While our bus was on the way, the chick (let's call her V) walked by my seat, so I literally pulled her in to sit by me. We talked for the hour our so left during our trip, and I started using kino immediately. I made sure that I made direct eye contact with him (he was sitting across the aisle in the row behind me) while I played with her hair and lightly teased her.

It was a cold day when we got to NYC, and V was under-dressed. I used it as my opportunity to pull her into me while we were milling around outside, making sure my buddy saw me. Over the course of the day, I led her around by the hand in full view of him. I also made sure to break away from the group with just V, while everyone saw to bring the point home.

That night, we all went to the bar while we were waiting for the bus back to come. By this point I had V literally wrapped around my finger, and she was kissing my neck. She had this bright red lipstick on, and it was leaving marks all over. Mind you, he saw this happening.

We get on the bus, and V fell asleep on me. The bus ride home was fairly uneventful. We were all pretty tired and fairly drunk. When we got back at around 2AM, I asked V if she wanted to come back to the townhouse (my buddy and I had a townhouse with 3 of our other friends). Of course she enthusiastically said yes, and once we got home (with my buddy behind me), I led V right into my room. The kicker, is my buddy and I were right next to each other and only had a wall between us.

Over the next two hours I banged V as loudly as possible, and boy she was a screamer. I put her to bed, and went downstairs to have a beer and sit on the couch. In our house it was tradition to mill in the living room and drink a beer after one of us got laid, at any hour of the day if we were home. Needless to say, my buddy was there. I looked at him, and he looked at me.

He handed me a beer and shook his head.

Normally we'd talk about the stuff, but he didn't say anything.

I ended up turning V into a plate, and had her repeat her performance multiple times over the next month or so. After about a month, I came downstairs after having another session with a different plate, and with all our other buddies around he said to me:

"Fuck, fine! I get your point! You didn't have to parade her in my face, shiiiiiit"

Everyone cheered (which my plate commented on later, asking what the fuck was going on) and we all smashed a brew before we each went back to bed.

After that, he followed my lead on game and never got oneitis again.

I had a boss that was doing some major unethical local politicking involving judicial elections that most of the press was ignoring. So I gathered enough inside intel (incl. mugshot) and gave to the local alt weekly.
The proceeding coverage attracted enough attention to interest the State Bureau of Investigation.
Nothing ever came from it, but he was gone from the job within six months.

Of course, he was succeeded by a litany of even more stupid/corrupt/incompetent bosses, each of which I have stories about that honed my scheming ways.

Awesome story! You could turn that (and more of your adventures) into a book.

Not anything grand scale, yet using a chick's own biological clock & the desire thereof against her by admitting that I don't want kids & therefore don't foresee a viable continuation of the relationship.

You may say, 'why not just tell the chick to get steppin' ?

Cause this way, the chick puts you in a category of something akin to a void.
Not to be contacted again.
