If you take a look at the 'staff' at babe.net, it's all women under the age of 25. The editorial team decided on publishing the Ansari piece over Sunday brunch. True insanity. I don't know who funds these clowns, but these women most likely read Jezebel in their teens and now consider Jezebel material tame in comparison.
This is why I get irritated when 2nd wave feminists like Christina Hoff Summers say 3rd and 4th wave are going to far. No bitch, this is exactly how social movements go:

As such, I would not be surprised if they gain more and more attention, even if the attention is negative (as seen in the comments). They'll need to write more perverse stuff to keep going.
These women are 22-25, so they're about the last set of millennial women. I do hope they end up being peak insanity, and gen Z women reject the entire feminist propaganda altogether. But we'll see how things play out. The earliest feminists, those who would forgo marriage and children to have a career, weren't representative of the women of their generation. Look how that turned out. And that's the problem: it's easy to dismiss women like these, and not consider they're at the vanguard of degenerate behavior, even if it might take decades to play out.
The comments at babe.net are encouraging, but there's really no way of knowing how many younger women are being influenced by shit like this.
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I remember this one girl who is 27 today (I think), was a feminist, and she would mock Jezebel for being over-the-top. Another girl, who is 23 today, would share Jezebel articles on her FB feed. Women tend to pick up and adapt to social changes much more rapidly than men.
