Gaming American girls as a 'foreigner'

As an English guy in the US, I attract a lot of attention when I talk because of my accent. I want to take advantage of this as it gives me a leg up on the competition in getting my leg over...

I'm a good looking guy (35) and have been dating and sleeping with cute and hot 22+ yr olds.

However, as I make more and more approaches, I've been discovering more and more girls that I've been calling 'accent groupies', although perhaps not an accurate name as groupies generally put out. These girls are seemingly into me, plenty of IOI, good 2-way conversations, rapport, etc. But when I go for the number close, they either make excuses (recently single, currently ending a r'ship, etc.) or become flakes when calling and setting up dates.

I know there are plenty of other factors as to why a girl would make excuses or flake (age, attention whores, she sobered up, etc.), and we all come across that the more approaches we make.

So, what I'm looking for is advice on is how to screen for time wasting accent groupies. I've started testing for this early on in the approach, especially when they comment on loving my accent. "You're not one of those accent groupies, are you?" - or some variation. Even if she doesn't understand what I'm asking, she'll ask what I mean and I can explain. Perhaps there's a better way to screen?

Also, I haven't been actively using my accent as a weapon in my arsenal, or promoting it, if you like. This is what I mean when I say I want to make the most of it. Any advice anyone might have on making more of my accent in my game would be appreciated.

I'm already making more approaches, so I figured if I can improve the quality of my game AND filter more time wasters, my success ratio will go up.

Thanks.
