The end of text game is nigh...

... or so I thought?

"Are you tired of the constant need to tap on a glass keyboard just to keep up with your friends? Do you wish a robot could free you of your constant communication obligations via WhatsApp, Facebook or text messages? Google is working on an AI-based auto-reply system to do just that."

They conclude that

"There’s certainly something to be said for freeing people from the constant strain of digital keeping-up-with-the-Joneses, but at some stage it’ll just be robots talking to robots, and by then should we even bother?"

I can see it to become an integral part of online apps in a few years time. I reckon that you'll be able to choose "gold", "silver", "bronze" membership, depending how smart or stupid you'd like your AI chatting agent to be. Then, you just fire the app off, give it some parametrisation and it'll do all work for you so you can spend time running daygame and/or nightgame.

The way I'm swingin', texting is for friends and co-workers. As far as my "text game" goes, I set up the date in, like, 3 messages. Any attempt to yap over the phone or text should be seen as me unwittingly jus' tryin' to talk her out of the deal.

Beyond 5-10 messages there is no text game. It's just pointless chat. Until you've banged a chick there is no reason to be texting back and forth. Texting too much can actually work against you.

If it takes away from your time doing day game or night game then you're doing it wrong.

I think it will be as well even though the app owners like Tinder don't want things automated. Tinder managed to C&D away one A.I. chatbot so far. Eventually I think it's gonna be too much of a whack-a-mole to stop, though. Guys have no interest in small-talk and women do, therefore the need is there.

Soon-to-be:
Google/Alexa will have thoughtfull convo with humans and will make paying services for humans to interact with an AI "friend" whom you can say everything to.

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

Someone already had the idea of coupling the two
because finding a real woman who have brain and can tell jokes is quite a challenge in itself.

Wonder what the conversation would be between two AI bots auto replys

Are you guys all really that out-of-touch with reality?

Just because you are highly introverted and find texting girls to be a chore, it doesn't mean the rest of the world is like that.

It's actually the introverts who prefer to sit on their ass and text instead of meeting face to face.

I think people, en masse, are going to be absolute morons over the course of the next 20 years. Sometimes I wish I was born 20 years earlier, I watch shows like Stranger Things and think, "yeah, it was better before the internet". Although, the internet is fantastic...but I'm not sure it's good for people on a deeper level. I'm at a family gathering so drinking during the day, I'm probably rambling.

Not that different from how it is now, meaning a tedious ping-pong match of shit-tests and clown-game.
