Never show your top half and tackle simultaneously online.

This may have been mentioned here before and Im sure most of you guys are wiser than I was recently. But just wanted to give a heads up so no one makes the same mistake.

The other day I was chatting to a Phills girl from cupid, could have just as easily been tinder etc.

So she seemed legit enough no red flags or anything. Anyway long story short we ended up with a happy ending on Skype and I was stupid enough to show my face.

The scammer then showed me a pic of my Facebook contacts, I instantly clicked and thought oh shit.

In the end I just quickly shut it all down, but they were saying I should pay them or they would send it to my Facebook friends. I had to work the next day and I work with a bunch of hot girls all around 20 years old that are my friends on Facebook who I am the boss of. Im not sure i have ever been so worried about something as I was this night.

In the end nothing happened but after researching apparently some times it does. I also did not realize and was shocked that anyone could just send files to your Facebook friends. Even if you have them hidden as they can see them in your likes etc.

Any stories of this happening in any other countries?

Happened to a filipino buddy of mine, he told them to fuck off and blocked them and nothing happened. I recommend not doing anything that a girl can be recording.

I posted about this a while back but I went over a filipinas apartment (red flag to begin with) and after we started kissing she said she had a boyfriend and he wanted to watch me bang her on video chat and she won't fuck me unless I let him watch. Luckily I was in Manila and had already banged that day or I might have given in. Instead I got dressed immediately and walked out. My friend who grew up there told me she would have had a friend recording on the other end and used it to blackmail me afterwards.

It has also occurred to me that you could get yourself in a sticky situation if you pissed off a girl, even if her intention hadn't initially been to scam. She might send off some shit to your contacts just to spite you.

Be wary of women who want to do live video things with you. In my experience they are always scammers. I have two phoney facebook accounts just in case.

This has happened to me too. I talked about it last year in the Philippines thread. I tried to pipeline off Cupid and one girl there pretty much did the exact same thing you're talking about.

Luckily I was somewhat prepared for it by having a Skype with no personal info, all of my Facebook stuff was hidden, and the girl had no last name or location to go off of. So, I promptly told her to fuck off and dared her to publish it. Nothing happened.

Despite other stories about closing on video chat, this is why I'd be hesitant to do sexual stuff with a girl on Skype. Biggest tips to avoid having your rep ruined are no last names or pictures you use on other social media on Skype and keep your social media info hidden from the public if it's an active profile.

By the way you actually got a happy ending? They usually stopped once you had your face and dick out lmao

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

It's a pretty common scam. I've met two other forum members who have been on the receiving end.

Use a a second skype account connected to a burner email. I have my Facebook and main skype connected to different email addresses, and FB privacy settings locked down.

It was a good wake up call for me as when I travel, go out and drink to much I end up thinking with the wrong head, especially in my younger days when I was horny as fuck 24/7; looking back I have done some really stupid things.

Reminds me of Black Mirror (Netflix) S03E03 - Shut Up And Dance

It's about a kid who was jerking off and somebody was blackmailing him.

^^If I recall correctly, he was wanking it to kiddie porn which if you get to the gist of it, he was really wanking it to his peers since they were the same age.

Not that big of a deal. I thought that was a funny episode.

I mean if you’re sinking to the level of meeting women online, you’re asking for serious trouble.

Why are you guys whacking off on cam anyway, why don’t you just bang a hooker like a normal dude?

Wow. I was contacted on by a random girl the other day on facebook. It was obvious it was a fake account and a dude behind the screen since that girl had added about 300 other fake friends.

Anyway, I got multiple messages from that "girl" and it probably was someone I've met because they were mentioning personal stuff about me which they couldn't have figured out by stalking me online. This person wanted to do a livechat with me too before I blocked her.

And why would you do skype calls with a girl you've never met anyway, OP?
