Oprah running for President?

It's worth considering that Oprah Winfrey could make a strong run for President in 2020. Many feel that a woman president needs to happen for the left as a trophy for equality. Trump has proven that political experience doesn't have to be a prerequisite for being President. Oprah has way less dirt on her than Hillary, and has a very strong grassroots following, name recognition, and money. I think the more relevant question isn't "would she win?", it's "would she run?"

I doubt she will run. But if she run`s she will win I`m afraid.
Remember the Trump won mainly because of weak opposition.
And I say that as an (increasingly pessimistic) Trump supporter.

She's dangerous in the same way Bernie Sanders was. However, I don't think she's infallible and has several weak points which can be exploited.

1. Outside of the vocal minority, I don't think most Democrats care about having a female president. They care more about other items affecting them than female equality.

2. Going off of point one, I think more Democrats would be far more easily swayed by an overt socialist like Sanders or a like-minded clone. People are losing ground economically, jobs are pathetic, wages flatlined. What is she going to do to woo these people? Which leads me to my third point.

3. If the DNC elite cozy up to her, they're going to have a tough time finding a platform for her to run on. Hope and change were ruined by Obama. If she tried to run on that, Trump would embarrass her on the debate stage. Unlike Obama's Republican rivals, Trump isn't afraid of playing dirty. Hillary ran on a dead end corporate/SJW warrior platform which Trump openly mocked. The DNC corporate backers won't let Oprah run on a socialist platform and if she did, the nominee process would lock her out for someone who is corporate friendly (just like Sanders). Much to the dismay of the SJW crowd who would probably call the DNC nominee process "sexist and racist" [Image: lol.gif]

The election showed us that people actually care about positions in rust belt states and don't care two shits about pointless social justice issues. Popular vote means diddly and I doubt she would secure the electoral college.

The Democrats are really in a pickle. Their corporate backers do not want an overt socialist at all, most of their constituents want Trotsky socialism, and the social justice animals continue to fall over themselves to drive away the more moderate voters. This coalition is fracturing under its own weight and I doubt they're going to be able to stay together much longer.

If Trump wants to seal the 2020 election, he needs to hit the Democrats where it hurts. If he were to get charges to stick on Hillary, Huma, Bill, and all of the other cronies it would utterly destroy the Democrats. This on top of the various voter fraud commissions that we keep hearing about make for any sort of long-term plan for the future difficult.

We still have the 2018 midterms which will be interesting. I doubt Trump is going to get anything done beyond the tax plan, but if he does that single bit above it won't matter. All he needs to do is tarnish and expose the DNC elite as the whores that they are and the party crumbles on its own.

Edit: Strangely enough, she's never married her lifelong "partner" even though they've been together for years. That's politically toxic in and of itself. She'll have to marry him. While Trump has had a litany of divorces, he's still "married" which is fine in the eyes of the public. Any political consultants will tell her to do this if she wants to make it in politics.

And she has a long history of falling in love with alphas who all dump her.
100% alpha widow.

No man has ever married her either.
In short, she has never inspired a man either as a potential wife OR a potential mother.
That tells you all you need to know.

If a woman is going to be president she might as well be Black right? Her speech did sound very specifically scripted and was perhaps planned by the left.

Her having money is irrelevant because she would have the support of the entire media system and of many corporations. It's definitely worrying, because she would have the Black vote and the female vote.

^^ I doubt that black men would ever vote for a black woman. And I doubt many white women would do that either, even if they virtue-signal otherwise.

That's basically because he's her beard.

Oprah might deny it, but given her personal history of being molested at the age of 9 by a male cousin, pregnant at 13, and refusing to have kids because of how she was mothered, my guess is that she's been eating carpet for decades. Gayle King even dropped a "joke" saying she was gay while talking to Charlie Rose.

What would her platform be? What policies would she want to enact? Would every day in an Oprah administration be a clusterfuck of a news cycle or would she run a tight ship? Could she handle both domestic and international policies? Would some dudes on this forum quit life if a black woman was elected president of the most powerful nation on Earth? Would she work with the House and Senate to pass meaningful legislation that benefits the country and its people? What are her ideas on nuclear proliferation, climate change, global counter-terrorism efforts, the achievement gap, gun control, civil liberties, the war on drugs, religious freedom, and agriculture subsidies?

Lots of questions need to be answered before I could weigh in on her candidacy.

Let's not forget, she smoked crack back in the day.

Quote:Quote:

Oprah Winfrey, the popular host of television's most-watched daytime talk show, broke down Wednesday while taping a program about recovering from drug abuse and admitted that she had smoked cocaine in her early twenties. The show will air nationally today. The program, taped in Chicago, dealt with the subject of women who have had drug problems. Four mothers were the guests.

Her purpose to be President is to be the Democrats' Trump and ensure eternal resentment between Black America and the GOP for decades to come if she chooses.

Surprised we even have posters entertaining the idea of voting for her. This bitch will be EXTREMELY liberal with social issues, probably more so than Hillary. Also, unfortunately, it seems she has an issue with men, probably due to her getting molested.

The thing that scares me the most is that she will be extremely establishment. Would def choose Bernie over her.

If she does run her vp will be Congresslut Tulsi Gabbard. They are homegirls. Oprah's got big-time land in hawaii. This means lotsa big-time money behind her such as Goldman Sachs, Larry ellison, the eBay guy, then bring in the Obama connection from that.

Every minority and woman will vote for Oprah. Add the beta male and the white guilt vote we are fucked.

She should run for 2024. The DNC have yet to learn some lessons and their pay masters will make them pay for it.

Oprah will be 70 by then so we will see. Either big ticket black woman billionaire or some smooth talking white/mixed race guy who can hustle.

Prove it. I'm not doubting your assessment, it's likely correct, but right now you're basically screaming, "the sky is falling!"

And every minority and woman was supposed to vote for Hillary, that clearly didn't happen.
