Seek Winter gloves recommendation

Can any of you recommend a really good pair of Winter gloves for under $100? It needs to actually keep my hands warm, not keep my fingers cold if I pick up snow, etc. I don't care about PETA and have no other restrictions so please recommend the best you know of. Thanks.

These seem to do the work for me, but once it drops to -30C nothing can stop the cold.

What are you going to use them for? Around town I bought a pair from Club Monaco that were around 40 bucks. Made of leather and cashmere on the inside. Look great. If you're going alpine climbing that might be a little different though.

Working outside in NYC during the Winter is mainly what I'll be using them for. I care more in the fact that they get the job done rather than whether or not they'll be fashionable. Thanks for the responses.

Seal skin mittens will keep you warm even at those temperatures.
They are expensive though, and maybe not to practical for work.

The kincos are very warm but don't have as much tactile feel.

Every glove has its drawbacks and it's strengths. You'll trade warmth for dexterity.

The key is to keep your core, arms and legs warm. Your body shuts down circulation to the extremities first to keep core temperature high. Get the rest of your body pipin ass motherfuckin hot and your hands and head will have to act as heat radiators to cool you down. This is how you win the cold hands battle. Gloves are just the last 20%.
