Ireland and Irish Politics / The Irish Situation

I'm deeply attracted to Irish women and during my short stint there found the feelings were mutual.

Had a great great grandma who came from Ireland. Might explain why that is.

It's a shame to see the country going through this.

Continued selection of videos....

Locals in Belfast unable to get housing locally/urging landlords not to rent to outsiders.

Balbriggan is a small lovely town in Co.Dublin, well my parents tell me it was
Otherwise known as Blackbriggan now. I didn't even hear about these ongoing events until this week and Ireland is a country where everybody knows everything about everything very quickly.

And this one really boils my blood, we have homelessness which has never been a truly big problem in Ireland, until recently:

Alright that's it for a while, I don't want to take over the thread.

Once you get out of the city it was grand.

How'd you know he was Irish if he was passed out?

Syberpunk is on the money.

I know that multiculturalism/immigration have their drawbacks but Christ, at least the standard of women in Ireland has gone up.

I hope I'm not too down on the place for the sake of moaning, there's a lot to be proud of it, there just hasn't been much of that in the last decade.

No mate, I think your points are very accurate. There are some things I could add but that would certainly be me moaning for the sake of it.

To any non-Irish readers, be weary of anything you read in our newspapers. This isn't to say that it isn't true, it's just that we are the world's biggest drama-queens. Mountains out of molehills is the SOP in our culture.

I guess that's why we're so good at writing plays.

If you don't assume passed out people are Irish, you are erasing their identity and doing violence to their right to exist.

On Thursday, a Japanese national was knifed and killed by an Egyptian asylum seeker who was illegal here, failed to get asylum here, went on to stab two others before being apprehended.

Is there any sense of Irish Nationalism still alive in Ireland? Forgive me if this was already addressed.

Your post did not remind me of this, I planned on posting it anyways, but this defiant song about the Island of Rockall seems apropos.

I'm not Irish (mostly Scottish) but like many Americans, sometimes I get caught up in the moment and exaggerate my Irish ancestry. My son used to attend this program that was run by Irish girls on visas for some reason... even the chubby Irish lassies gave me semi-boners with their pleasant accents.

/ There is, but Sinn Féin have done a lot of damage, masquerading as Nationalists while in reality they are Marxists and promote open borders, feminism, LGBT nonsense, etc. People voted for SF as they thought they were voting for a Nationalist party, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Some of you will have heard in the news today, that arch Globalist Peter Sutherland has died.
He was instrumental in promoting and encouraging the migrant invasion into Europe in recent times and as much as admitted that he wanted to see the ending of European nation states to be replaced and enriched by ever increasing diversity.
Unsurprisingly, the sycophants in the Irish media are writing glowing tributes to this man who did his best to undermine and destroy European countries.
I won't link you to any of these fawning pieces, instead I will show you a more realistic portrait of this man's poisonous legacy on the ordinary people of Ireland and Europe:

In all their glowing tributes they rhymed off the long list of organisations he was part of.....but one wasn't mentioned, the Bilderberg group; now it's entry level stuff for alt media, but for normies its wild stuff. This woman 7 years ago tried to speak about the fact it was being held in Ireland and Pat Kenny couldn't cut her off fast enough. Well done to her.

ANOTHER BITES THE DUST!

"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

Not in my experience anyway.
The vast majority of Eastern Europeans in Ireland are already seeing someone or married (often married in their twenties).
Unless you catch some newly arrived Poles, I think there are better opportunities to be had with other nationalities or tourists in the cities.
Germans, Dutch, French, Brazilians, all are more likely to be single and are often up for a bit of fun.
Of course there are US/UK/Oz girls around too but the quality is often not the best.

His (Sutherland) talk about Ireland constantly being invaded in the problem as a problem for the EU migration push, but now its time to ease our identity and be invaded this time
....for the last time.

Great to see Red Ice do something related to us.

Concur about the Brazilians. For some reason Dublin seems to be teeming with them and more often than not the quality is quite good; and as Amity points out, up for a bit of fun.

True too about the Poles - vast majority of the time they are here alongside Marcin, Syzmon or Filip.

John Waters was one of the speakers at the recent successful Irexit conference.
Here he is being interviewed by Grand Torino, this is well worth watching.
Very impressed with Waters here, he comes across as a thoughtful compassionate intelligent man who has clearly thought deeply about the problems facing Ireland particularly from the radical left, soulless political parties who want to feed Ireland to the Globalists and corporate class and a media establishment hostile to anyone who cares about the future of Ireland and Irish people.

Now a completely different kind of post but still important.
And that's regarding the enforced diversity and equality that is being pushed hard on Irish TV and media.
RTÉ news is all women these days and the newspapers are heading that way too.
But sometimes you will see something so blatant, it's laughable.
Maybe some of you here know 'The Young Offenders'.
The movie was a good laugh, two young Cork eejits on a madcap adventure.

Well now they have a show on BBC3 and there has to be a black character inexplicably shoehorned into this Cork family.
It's so ridiculous and totally out of place.
And they make sure to have her call the Cork father "Dad"!
Worse again is that one of the two main characters has to fall for her and she's about twice his size, fat and pretty unattractive.
And look, I know that some families adopt African kids, and that's their perogative, but it's this in your face kind of 'hey we don't have our quota of black/gay/Muslim/tranny characters in the show, let's just fucking throw a few in there, for the sake of it' attitude that kills me.
Jesus... It might seem like a minor thing but it's getting worse and worse...
Now I see why people were getting seriously pissed off with all these diverse remakes (Star Wars, Mad Max etc).
