Hi Guys,

I am an operations manager and I see it on a almost weekly basis that I am a very solution orientated person. If someone comes to me with a problem, I very often have good ideas and ways to solve it.

I also have a lot of self employed friends and gave them really good advice what they could do and in which direction they could go etc.

My personal dream one day would be to have a business by my own, but the idea is missing.

So actually what I would like is to invite all all the guys that in most cases just see the problems and challenges in our society or in our daily live to write down the biggest challenges and problems of today and maybe a good solution will come up to one of the readers or to myself.

I don't think you've made a meaningful enough impression here on RVF for anyone to trust that you can offer valuable advice.

From searching on quora and reddit, Ive come across a lot of great ideas. Ive mainly focused on offline business models and have made a nice list of those. Unfortunately, I havnt gone passed that stage. So in essence, ideas dont mean shit unless you act upon them.

It's better to have a great business model coupled with a terrible idea compared to having a great idea coupled with a terrible business model.

For example, Amway is basically a scam, but the guys running it are making money. The idea is terrible but their execution is great.

It's better to run a good business using a lame idea than wait for a 'great' idea.

If you can run a business, then you can implement any great idea that comes along, but you have to know how to run a business first.
