He won't be honest enough to admit this.

In all seriousness, I live in Philadelphia.

Great town for gaming. Close to everything the East Coast has to offer. My mortgage costs next to nothing, and I have all the house a single guy could ever need. I have once heard Philly described as a "RooshV Lifestyle City". Very true. You can live in Philly like a king off $60k a year and game women like it's a full time job.

Downside: no beaches. Gets insanely hot in the summer. Too many hipsters and libtards.

I live in the inner city of an "alpha city" but unlike in America that's actually a good area, close to everything.

Live in a rural house in northern Scandinavia. 45min drive to a 80'000 town. Got connections so I can sleep in the town if I need to.
My expences are ridiculously low for Sweden and I manage to save most and re-invest.
I get shit from people in my family for living rural but the ROI in the cities/some town are very low and I rather spend some months in munk mode working and the going to eastern europe for some months.

Small city in the American northeast. Used to live in a walk-up in the center of town but now now in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to downtown.

Costs nothing and it's full of drunk college sluts six months a year, but the weather is also liquid shit six months a year. Not a place I'd want to raise a kid due to Rust Belt issues, but it's a decent travel hub and there's a relatively high ratio of amenities for the cost of living. I generally break up the time with as much travel to NYC, the southwest, and Europe as I can fit in.

From whom? I've yet to hear of another forum member much less Roosh himself live in Philly at any point.

I live in a large city built on a swamp with some of the worst weather on god's Earth with lots of fine women in it. Hot and humid isn't fun, but it's cheap and the women are good.

Keeps the Californiafags far away, but they're slowly creeping in.

If half the forum lives in urban areas, no wonder some are more positive about marriage than others.

I live in 400K (+80K students) city, where I was born. It´s quite big city in conditions of my country and there´s beautyful enviroment all around. I have been one and half year away, but now I am coming back. It was pain to live outside it. I love my city and I hope I will never be pushed to abandon it again.

I am surprised by the results. I was expecting a higher urban population (70%+), and a much smaller rural population(less than 10%). Although the sampling size is pretty small so far.

It may be a question of your definition. I live in a 2.5 million metro area, but I when I think of urban, I picture dense areas like NYC or the city of Chicago. In comparison, I consider the majority of the LA/OC metro area to be suburban despite the fact it's one of the biggest metro areas in the US.

In my case, I live in a house near the edge of the metro area, so I answered suburban. However, I regularly visit the other parts of my metro area, and go downtown a couple times a week.

I bet if you asked the percentage who live in large metro areas, the percentage would be far higher.

I live in a very small village, there is a small town 10 mins drive away. I am surrounded by hills, forests and river. Beautiful nature to enjoy but the lack of major settlement nearby makes some things difficult (no day game, no big malls, no good places to go out, etc). Will move away one day but still visit.

I'd still keep property there (if you own it and don't have to pay rent). Maybe a nice little hunting cabin.

I live in a rural area because I like down to earth people. Better male friends and more legit girls for wife shopping. Urban environments harden people and not in a good way.

What kind of environment do you live in?

I lived in the DC area for a few years. It was fun at times, but mainly just burned a gigantic hole in my pocket.

I currently live in a suburb outside of a different city. It's full of trashy and impolite people. Absolutely hate everything about this area and the state.

As of right now. I'm currently doing all I can to move south to a suburban/rural area.

JMK nailed it on the head for the benefits of rural living. Adding to the fact the cost of living is much more reasonable in the areas I'm looking.

I answered suburban. If you don't live within the city but within the metro area, I think Suburban is a fine answered. I was just surprised by the number of people living in rural areas and the lack of people in urban areas.

An affluent suburb village. I have been here and near here for all my life. If I were single there are enough girls. Half the time you bump into someone you know which I like most of the time. There are great walks around here, it's quiet and there are enough amenities I do not need to go into the city which is only 15 minutes on train / 25 minute drive. I will live somewhere else at some point though. Can see myself being rural in 10-20 years. Might give living in the city a try in my twenties. I would not live somewhere specifically for girls though.
