Birmingham City FC risk upsetting supporters and the local community after it emerged that the club will play host to the annual conference of a highly controversial political party.

‘Justice for men and boys (and the women who love them)’ was founded by Mike Buchanan, who is still the party’s leader. Buchanan had previously formed ‘The Anti-Feminism League’ and the ‘Campaign for Merit in Business’. The party’s principal aim is to alter what it perceives to be the exploitation of the human rights of men and boys by a state that privileges women and girls.

To say there is a sinister undertone to the party is an understatement. Links from the ‘j4mb’ website include pieces titled ’13 reasons women lie about being raped’ and ’10 reasons false rape allegations are common’, with the underlying claim that sexism causes far more harm to men and boys than to women and girls.

On Tuesday, Buchanan spoke on BBC Radio Nottingham on the subject of allegations of sexual harassment of women in the workplace, and his views were emphatic:

“I spent 30 years in the business world and never once came across an example of women claiming to be sexually harassed. This is women claiming to be sexually harassed, not who have been harassed. If we believe them we are basically saying that men are guilty.

“There are some very unattractive women, including some politicians, who claim sexual harassment. Their claims are not credible. Perhaps they are fantasising.

“It’s usually unattractive women who claim to have been sexually harassed and it is simply not right. If she’s more attractive she’ll get more attention from men so she won’t need to claim things It’s simple.”

Any British members know anything about Mike Buchanan and his party?

MRA groups have been around for many years here, splintering from the ill-fated Fathers 4 Justice, one of thr original MRA groups in the UK.

They used to carry out protests dressed as super-heroes chaining themselves to Buckingham Palace, House of Commons etc.

It was practically the only way to draw the publics attention to their cause.

Stunts have included supporters forcibly entering courts dressed in Father Christmas outfits, putting the Government's Minister for Children in handcuffs, and group member Jason Hatch climbing onto Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman.[3] They have also protested by handcuffing two other government ministers.

You can imagine how they were portrayed in the MSM.

Mike Buchanan J4M/B leader:

Mike Buchanan is a British writer, publisher and campaigner, formerly a business consultant before retiring in 2010. He founded and runs LPS publishing. In January 2012 he founded the Anti-Feminism League. In April 2012 he founded the Campaign for Merit in Business. He worked for the Conservative party over 2006-8 but resigned his party membership in late 2009 in protest at Conservative party leader David Cameron's adoption of women-only prospective parliamentary candidate shortlists for some constituencies for the forthcoming general election. To enable this, Cameron employed legislation introduced in March 2008 by the radical feminist Labour MP Harriet Harman. The legislation permitted political parties to use women-only prospective parliamentary candidate shortlists for the ensuing five general elections i.e. FOR 25 YEARS. The proposed legislation hadn't been mentioned in the Labour Party's 2005 general election manifesto, although the same manifesto DID include this gem: 'The new European Union Constitutional Treaty is a good treaty for Britain and the new Europe. We will put it to the British people in a referendum.' Ha.

Foundation and philosophy

The party was founded in February 2013,[1] and is led by a retired businessman and former Conservative Party consultant, Mike Buchanan,[2] who left the party in 2009 after David Cameron announced his approval of all-women shortlists for selecting parliamentary candidates.[3][4] In 2013, he accused Cameron of being "relentlessly pro-female and anti-male" in his policies and comments.[4]

Buchanan has said he established the party because "the state is anti-male"[5] and considers the male sex to be "pretty much subhuman".[2] According to him, "legislation is routinely drafted to advantage women and disadvantage men" while "boys are being relentlessly disadvantaged by an ever more feminized education system".[6] He has also formed such groups as the Anti-Feminism League and Men Shouldn’t Marry.[7]

J4MB describes itself as "the only political party in the English-speaking world campaigning for the human rights of men and boys"[8][9] and as being anti-feminist. "Feminism is a hatred, and it should be a badge of shame", Buchanan has said. According to him: "It’s a very well documented feminist objective of 40 years to destroy the nuclear family", and feminism "is a deeply vile, corrupting ideology and the idea it's a benign movement about gender equality is dangerous nonsense".[2][5] He says: "All feminist narratives are one or more of the following – conspiracy theories, fantasies, lies, delusions or myths".[10]

The party issues awards for "lying feminist of the month" to female journalists,[2] "toxic feminist of the month" and "whiny feminist of the month". Its website includes a link to an article entitled "13 reasons women lie about being raped".
