Wired Confirms Online Virtue Signalling is a Thing

This is a great article. It doesn't actually use the term "virtue signalling" but it effectively describes it. Unbelievable. Of course, it doesn't tear at the pillars of SJW to the extent a ROK article would, but it's amazing that it's willing to criticize this phenomenon at all. Is this a sign of things to come? Opinions?

That is absolutely shocking they published that. I have a Wired print subscription that I get for free. Every single damn issue is about #womenintech, #muhrussiatrump, #sexrobots, and other feminist cunt/omega male nonsense. I would never pay for it. There are a few good articles in it related to emerging tech, but by and large, the magazine is absolute rubbish. Wouldn't surprise me if they pulled that article after they realize that THEY ARE THE VIRTUE SIGNALERS.

I've been saying this for over a decade now - the Internet is the greatest social pacification tool ever invented (and even though that wasn't the intent, it has been co-opted to that very purpose), and this article explains why. So much easier to write a vicious screed and win the approval of others who already think like you than to take to the streets and do something about it.

Hard to argue with that logic when you see this:

Do you really think that they would have that level of self-awareness?
