Help with Ripple Desktop Wallet App

Hey guys, bought about $1000 worth of ripple coins, saved key and password for the ripple desktop wallet. Now when I try to login it says password not valid. After a quick google search it appears I'm not the only one. Someone please help, I don't know what to do next? [Image: confused.gif]
Am I completely fucked or is there some sort of solution? I'm throwing a hail mary here to all my red pill brothers!

Your first mistake is purchasing ripple. Do you have the private keys to your wallet? If so login using that. That's how it normally works for your cryptocurrencies.

I have the password and private key and still nothing? Is there a way to contact ripple?

On a side note, why do you think it's a mistake I bought ripple? It was just a side diversification. I threw $1000 at it for a long term investment.

'cause you wasted 1000 bucks.

Also I think I need to rep NewDayNewFace for the Ripple diss. I know we've had our disagreements about cryptos, but anybody who comes up with a good Ripple insult is alright by me.

EDIT: I don't know how Ripple works specifically, because I know better than to buy any. So I'm afraid I can't help you.

What's the problem with Ripple? I'm brand new to cryptos (a few weeks) but it seems to be one that's talked favourably about in many places, and it appears to be doing well at the moment. I still only have small investments - including in Ripple - but I was planning on making Ripple one of my three major ones alone with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

1.) Its founder hates it. (Look up the story of Jed McCaleb and the FUCK token.)

2.) It's a toy, banks don't actually have to use and they won't.
