All kidding aside, I disagree with your point. Video games only ever had a stigma for people who get seriously addicted to them, and that hasn't changed one bit. Sexbots will start out with infinity times as much negative stigma as video games, and it would take a massive overhaul of social attitudes to remove that stigma.

I predict that the generations alive when sexbots are first released will not embrace them in large numbers.

I think as long as sexbots are stuck in the glorified animatronic level that sexbots will be seen in the same light as blow-up dolls. If and when we achieve strong A.I. then we're in uncharted territory on how they're treated. If you shame men by viewing these things as if they are blow-up dolls when they are passing the turing test then you may be denying their rights as an "artificial person" (ala Data in Star Trek). But if you treat them as if they deserve rights then it really calls into question what is and isn't life itself. This would be a serious inflection point in human development... The kind where there's a bunch of homeware products and you rip off the back page, list the products you want and attach a money order. They're marketed quite specifically at old people who don't know what ebay is and include stuff like denture holders and telescopic walking sticks.
