If I am in total agreement with Leonard D Neubache then something is really amiss. Obviously dishonest question that ignores the fact of only being married to one person at a time with many obligations upon both parties. With whores, the only obligation is money for sex, but with wives, the obligations are for love (loyalty, sacrifice, and sex), care (spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally), and money. That because money is common to both renders both equal is a reductionist absurdity.

Moreover, the woman in marriage is not entitled to any certain payments like a whore negotiates for. A woman in marriage gets whatever the man earns; if he does not have large income she is not entitled to find a new man to negotiate for better. Likewise the man is not entitled to negotiate for younger, hotter, and tighter wife.
