"Yea, sure, always up to new friendships"

I got VK recently and started adding all the girls from my city, one has accepted and I start talking to her, ive asked her out for a drink and shes responded "ye, sure, always up to new friendships".

Ive never had a response like this before and I see myself as having 3 options, what do you think, and which route do you think I should take?

1. Ignore the friendship comment and set-up a date and time, then escalate on the date.

2. Dont meet up until breaking this frame.

3. Ignore her text and dont reply, shes clearly not interested.

I can achieve the above in the following ways:

1. I usually use a line on a date - do you think boys and girls can be friends, where I say they cant because one will always have something for the other, also I can escalate on the date, she doesn't know me so might feel different about the friendships thing.

2. Break the frame - respond with - "we both have loads of friends, this is a date haha"

3. Self Explanatory

Im thinking 1. as to not put so much pressure on the getting together, if that's how she wants to rationalize it fine, ill just escalate when I see her and if she doesn't put out shes gone. Thoughts?

Barreling through and ignoring stupid comments like those is important in many scenarios.

+1 for ignore and game as usual.

You will know on e first date if she has friend zoned, and if she has, DO NOT fall into that frame.

If she isn't into you, then delete number and move on to NEXT.
