Doug Casey claims a western guy can go to a small country like Benin and meet the president within a few weeks.

"The playing field is very uneven in Africa. And that’s exactly what you want. You don’t want a level playing field; you want one tilted in your direction. If a young American or European stays in their own country, he’s just like 100 million other people. He’s got no marginal advantage.

If you go to Africa, it’s a different story. You’ve got a ton of marginal advantages. You are likely the only person that has a certain background, set of skills, education, capital, and connections. You’re automatically very unusual. That makes it much easier to make things happen.

You can be sitting down with the president, or the richest guys in the country, in a couple weeks after you arrive on the scene.

I think that it’s an excellent place to go for an individual from Europe or America that wants to get wealthy. And have an exotic adventure as a bonus."

What do ya'll think? Is he full of shit?

From my own experience it is very much a possibility. I have been to Madagascar several times on my gemstone business and I have actually met presidential candidate during the election he wanted to work together with me without even knowing who I am simply having a white face and blue eyes and showing up.

the problem about western Africa there is a very real possibility that you can get kidnapped for ransom. They even arrange fake business meetings to draw you in be careful if you are planning on Western Africa.

I've never been but I've met tons of Congolese - also a good friend's dad has an engineering company that does some work there. Unanimous verdict : Fucked up shithole. It is the one country in Africa I'm too scared to visit and I wouldn't advise anyone to either. There's a reason why companies that send workers there hire 24/7 security.

As far as Congolese people are concerned. The ones I've met seem pretty chilled and friendly. Loads of big big boys, massive in all dimensions and could be real sporting beasts with ideal nutrition. Women were similar and not really my type, but very receptive. There is also ridiculous money flying around for a ahithole. You might meet some of these guys studying at good unis - make no mistake these guys are probably loaded and have dad's involved in all sorts of dubious business.

Well, there were 37 presidential candidates in Madagascar so there goes your point. Pitt is right, it's bullshit, but notwithstanding offcourse you have a higher chance to meet the top elite living in a shithole. That's just common sense.

Well if you want to try out that congo poon visit the french congo, congo-brazzaville, its one of the safest countries in africa(and in the world for that matter, tbh most of africa is safe from a criminal standpoint, its the diseases that are more dangerous) and the chinese built there an airport that can rival airports from developed countries, just don't forget your d-coat, hiv is rampant and most official figures are way off.

Democratic Republic of Congo: Reports?

Hey guys

Black girl lover, Africa-enthusiast and safari goer here!

I lived in Congo-Brazzaville and currently living in Congo-Kinshasa.

I have a datasheet on Pointe-Noire, Congo-Brazzaville on NN: http://www.blockedurl.com/forum/archive/...-1671.html

I lived in Pointe-Noir for over a year and it was one of the best years of my life. I worked for Heineken and lived in a house with young girls (interns) which had a bar and all the alcohol we wanted. I partied three - four times a week. There are a lof of average looking girls and quite some ugly ones, but you can find some hot ones. Most of the girls in clubs are hookers/semi-hookers, but I managed to shore most of the times, although it's highly descouraged to avoid problems. Congo-Brazzaville is an amazing country. The beaches are wonderful and not overrun and the mayombe forest is magnificent. I went to the far north where I went into the national park and took a canoe to Central African Republic and stayed there deep in the forest. I saw elephants, gorillas, etc.
Note that this is a very expensive country to travel as logistics are basics and 4x4's are costy. Brazzaville is pretty calm and a bit dull but you can always find girls in clubs. The oil-industry is doing quite bad, meaning a lot of expats left, which probably results in less night life etc as well.

About Congo-Kinshasa.

Kinshasa is an absolute shithole. It is dirty, rotten and corrupt. I do however love my life in here. I have a great job and I live in a nice compound and my life standard is very high. It's a very expensive city and nightlife kinda sucks. The 'Kinois' mostly sit at tables drinking or smoking shisha and they don't dance a lot. Most clubs in the city center are infested with hookers. They are hardcore, you don't wanna mess with them.

I have been to the east and climbed the Nyirangongo which has the largest lava lake in the world. I also went gorilla tracking. It's one of the most beautiful regions I have seen in my life. To the guy who talked about Goma: it actually has some nice upscale lodging near Lake Kivu and because of all the NGO's present I'm sure you can party and bang a lot.

Girls.

Girls in Kinshasa are fucked up crazy. They are stubborn, moody and the prettier they are and richer, the more difficult they can be. It is super easy to get laid, basically approach any girl on the street and there is a high chance you'll be banging her. But beware, most of these girls are super clingy. There are a lot of scammers around as well. I had breaking into my house when I was asleep claiming she was pregnant by putting my semen from the condom in her pussy. When I wanted to run to get security she got naked and started to make a scene to embarras me in front of the whole compound. I didn't give a shit. I had security surround her, called the army and waited until they deported her. She came back two months later at my job, making a whole scene in front of everyone and attacked me. I took a lawyer, went to the cops and the army cos I was scared she might find some interested journalist or high-ranked shithead for her scam and I'd end up in jail. I got her scared and filed a complaint and thank god it's over. This was one of the only two times I picked a girl from a club ... never again.

They are just so fucking moody and stubborn and a lot will expect gifts and shit from you. This is all the fault of the local guys throwing all their money on them so they don't know any better. It is however possible to re-educate them.

The majority of them are average to cute and quite some ugly ones, but there is a minorty which is cute to hot to very hot. If you know French and you have game etc, you can get these girls. You just won't easily meet them. I am building a social circle around me by organising pop-up restaurants and throwing parties and going to dance classes and evenings. I get to know more and more girls. The more attractive girls you surround yourself with the more you will attract. I made a kind of a love hut in my garden and the girls call it 'my bitch trap'. It's freaking genious.

I prefer quality over quantity and I can't complain. I just broke up with a real stunner from Brazzaville: easily 8.5. Tall, long legs, big ass, huge boobs, amazing body, great face and not even make-up except fake lashes and the occasional lipstick. I have dated some interesting mixes as a Japanese-Congolese chick with massive booty and asian features; an Iranian-Congolese girl with golden skin, a Somali-Portuguese-Congolese chick, Congolese-Portuguese, etc. To meet these kind of girls you need to be here on the long run I'm afraid. You also should know French. I am in Europe right now cos there are elections and I'm scared of riots and shit so I'm stuck for a few more weeks. I have zero contact with my friends as the government cut of the internet. Once I'm back I will search for girls again by approaching them in fancy bakeries, restaurants, bars, tinder, etc. I am confident I will find another hottie within a month or so.

Feel free to ask me anything.

^Great post rottenapple.

Here is a Ross Kemp episode depicting the unspeakable violence that you describe, for those who care to stoke their curiosity. Fair warning, just hearing some of these horrific descriptions made me physically ill.

Thanks for the video, the stories are really as horrendous as you elude to.

It's shocking, the audacity that western feminists have, claiming that they are 'oppressed', 'victims', have been 'raped' (stare rape) and bullshit like that. They live such a cosy life with everything provided for them, either by their family, the state, or beta males, yet have the audacity to use powerful words, such as 'oppressed' to describe themselves, thus diluting the meaning of these words, yet live in societies that claim they can do no wrong. The women of the DRC really are victims as are many women in Africa. The stories in the documentary are truly heart breaking, beyond what words can describe.

Yet, feminists in the west don't give a shit about women who are truly oppressed and need help. Hell, even bringing to attention the 'lackings' of the DRC will probably have you marked as 'racist' by many of them. The only intervention these type of people make in other parts of the world is to export there awful ideology, not to actually help the people or women of said country.

Makes me think of me making some remark about paying the bill and emancipation towards my ex at the restaurant.
*pointing at her face "Look at this face (meaning she's hot), does it look like it wants to be emancipated????'' That cracked me up [Image: biggrin.gif]. She splits when needed, though [Image: smile.gif]

African girls seem to have an aversion towards western feminism though. They desperately need emancipation, but it's a whole different thing than western feminism.

Jim Rogers traveled around the world on a motorcycle, including the DRC. Jim if you don't know was Soros hedge fund partner. He wrote a book about his travels, Investment Biker. He wasn't as positive on it as Casey. He was imprisoned and basically held hostage by the local police.

This is pretty fucking fantastic. You're obviously tapping a whole different level of women - the very highest tier - only accessible to guys with a bankroll and a social in. Average guy from around here (no matter how good looking he is or how decent his game is) is probably going to be stuck with "would not bangs" for his entire trip. Clearly a place for wild adventure and nature and not juat for women.

1. What makes a guy move to Congo? Sure, you might have landed a better paying exec job but I assume at that level you could land something decent anywhere. Are you just an adventurous bastard?;

2 You mention Brazzaville has soms great beaches (probably the one thing that would get me to make the trip). I'm a beach chaser and would appreciate some comparisons (surf, anh unique features etc. ). I note it's a relatively tiny coastline, you reckon it's worth making a trip for the beaches?

3. General safety outside upmarket areas in Brazzaville?

You don't need a high bankroll per se for women, but you need plenty of cash to live. It's all about attitude, you can game most girls without being rich, just be different than the rest. And well, the ones you can't game cos of money, those are the ones you don't want to anyway. But that's a universal truth anyway.

The best things I've done are:
- Take dance classes. I can't believe I waited until my 35 to do this. 70 percent of the attendees are girls, same with the dance evenings.
- Build my hut.
- Do a pop up restaurant and throw parties. I will now try to organise at least one event a month to let my social circle grow!

Answers:

1. I used to party and travel until I got married to a Venezuelan-Italian girl at the age of 25 ... lived in Venezuela, moved back to Belgium cos of the crisis. We never got any money so I couldn't travel all those years. Finally divorced I chose the most exotic place I could find a job, which was Congo-Brazzaville. I fucked like crazy. I came back to Belgium cos I wasn't earning a lot of money, got to know someone who got me a job in Kinshasa. Note that this is an ex Belgian-Colony so we still got some stuff going on there. And yes, I'm an adventurous bastard.

2. You can surf at Pointe-Noir, it has some high waves. There is a really cool lagoon with tree huts a few hours outside of the city in a National Park. But you need a 4x4 with a driver to get there, it's quite pricey. The beaches at the city are a bit dirty though. I'm not sure if it's worth it just for the beaches. I heard Sierra Leone is nice and also Mozambique.

3. Quite safe.

Feel free to ask me anything.

Pretty awesome life story. Lol, just got back from Mozambique. I live in South Africa and we have a flat in a nice Mozambican resort town. been up most of East Africa short of Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea. West Africa is a whole different beast altogether. Flights are ridiculously expensive within Africa, unfortunately, its literally cheaper for me to fly to SEA than Congo (fliping ridiculous). Hell, it's cheaper for me to fly to India via Kenya than to Kenya itself.

Pretty surprised by your take on Brazzaville. Thought it would be pretty dangerous. Kinshasa is crazy from what I hear and to be honest, even if you're living in upmarket isolation, there's only so long you can live in a shithole until it gets to you. I can only imagine the culture shock you experienced initially.

Thanks and hope to see you heading south soon!

^^Pretty great quality bro

Awesome! How is Mozambique? Do you speak Portuguese? I'm learning it by myself at the moment. I really wanna go to Angola as I am dancing kizomba since a few months and I heard the girls are nice. Mozambique is high in the list as well. Where is your house located and where are you in SA? I've been to Kruger twice and did the garden route in april. SA might be my favorite food destination together with Lebanon. Any plans for 2019 in Africa? I'm going to Kenya in February to do a safari.

Mozambique is really not advisable for game. The people are fantastic (extremely friendly even though I don't really speak much portuguese ) but not many stunners. Angola would probably be a much better bet for women and vibe. Luanda is way better than Maputo. I always say Moz is great for a holiday with friends or a special lady but not great to do alone or for women

I stay in Johannesburg sadly (family has been here in JHB since 1893), if there were more jobs in Cape Town I'd hed down asap. No big African plans for 2019 so far (probably just some quick trips to Zim and Namibia). Our flat in Moz is in a small town called Ponta do Ouro (on the Moz-SA border), great beach retirment village vibe. The furthe north you go the better the beaches in Mozambique right up until Pemba.

Kenya is fabulous. Be sure to check out Mombasa as well.

Thanks for the report man. Those birches are fine as hell.

My grandad participated in Operation Dragon Rouge back in the 60's so I've always been fascinated with that dark corner of the world.
