I love England and London. Strappy little place.

The only thing that benefits me is my American accent. If I had an English accent this place would be a veritable hell. I have to somehow finagle my way into elite circles if I want my family to have any mobility whatsoever.

Really? When I was in London this summer I quizzed girls about my accent. It either had no effect or a slightly negative effect.

Women are career oriented, love money and arent ashamed of it.

-Last but not least, the women...Oh my god!!! The worst attitudes I have ever seen, I thought Paris was a difficult city (I have good results in Paris with good looking girls but that's because it's my city and I know exactly what girls want and how to deal with them) but London is really tough, some observations:

1- It is a women's market, they choose. I work in the city and I see good looking guys, obviously working out regularly and dressed nicely and they are with chubby vulgar girls. I am quite sure even to get these pigs the guys had to compete.

2- as a consequence of 1, all girls have bad attitudes and behave as if they are a prize and expect you to be doing anything to please them, a girl might cancel a date 1 hour before, refuse a date and openly tell you that another guy on tinder has arrived before you and she s dating him today but tomorrow maybe she can date you, she might propose you to meet up friday night but then friday afternopn tell you she can meet you only from 6 to 7 pm because she s going out with friends later, she might also ask you which place you suggest to meet up and accept to meet you only if she likes the place....and so many other things...

3- Women also dont know how to flirt, I discussed openly this topic with one of them and she agreed that most people here need to be drunk in bars/ clubs to hook up, this can happen everywhere of course but looks like here it mainly works like that. Me not being a heavy drinker and not liking clubs, I am having a hard time so far.

I m here since only 2 weeks so I'll Try to adjust my game and find out what suits me better here but it looks like a challenge, being in my mid thirties I like when things get easy with women, I dont have anything to prove to myself and prefer putting lot of energy in other activities, I just started this job and am staying on Hackney road at the moment, in east London, I'm sharing a flat for few weeks and looking for my own place. I hope when I'll have my place and will go to the gym I ll chill out a bit and my quality of life will improve.

If some guys here are down to some day game get it touch, it wouldnt hurt to know some people here

This post is 100% correct. The women here in London are horrendous. If they're not fat, they have terrible skin, if they don't have terrible skin, they have a shocking attitude. Most of the time they have all these things.

Come on now there are plenty of attractive women here. And while I would agree many have poor personalities, there's also plenty of black, mixed race, and South Asian women that aren't as spoiled by feminism as an alternative.

Yeah it's not that bad in terms of male-female ratios/game etc. There are plenty of quality internationals, expats, tourists etc.

You just have to position yourself in a way that appeals to your target group. If you're going for average white english girls, then yeah you're competing with hordes of gym-going real estate brokers / finance / law guys and it's "rubbish". Go more niche though and you can crush. It pays to figure out what kind of girl you really want, then optimize. IMO a lot of cool girls in fashion/art/media are sick of the cardboard-cutout suits and aren't too money-obsessed.

Also lots of niche nightlife and social scenes. If you get into a niche circle that really suits you, you can do well and it's alot of fun.

Where London really sucks though is the prices and accommodation. It just doesn't feel like value-for-money now.

There are other equally expensive cities, but I feel like you get a lot more "lifestyle" for your buck there.

I am actually not into white girls, I prefer black/latina/mixed/dark asian like indonesian, I didn't see a difference in their attitude here so far to be honest.
I agree that the biggest problem is the value for money, I am renting an ensuite (room with own bathroom) in a dodgy street in Hackney and paying nearly 1000£ for it, my priority for now is finding a decent place to live, I am sure I'll enjoy London way more once I'll be in a place where I feel home.

So far I had 5 tinder dates, maybe 2 were fuckable but were having attitude, I didnt try to see them again. Living in a flat share in London is not that bad if you choose to live with the right people. I said before that social circles are everything in Ldn, so having some 'social' people around can help you get bangs. My best bang in London, a Dutch girl, was a flatmate's sister. Living alone does not guarantee you anything.

Ill second that, its amazing how one can be living in the same city but have a completely different lifestyle and overall living experience. There are an unlimited number of niches and ways to meet women or get to reach your hobbies.

Still though, I would only live in London if it's for a short period of time or because of a dynamic career that can't be done anywhere else.

Black girls are generally more fun to be around than white girls here, know how to flirt, and while sexually active, seem to be able to fuck around without it damaging their self esteem.

Some South Asian girls act like princesses, but there's still lots of traditional feminine girls from those cultures that make good girlfriends.

Guys, which area in London would you recommend to live in for a person working in Canary Wharf?

A nice hood with good gyms, restaurants, bars and if possible a park. Most importantly a safe hood, daygame in a dodgy hood is extremely difficult as girls are on guard and agressive.

I spent the last weeks in Paris and enjoyed it, the weather was good and women here are feminine and way nicer than in London, the city overall has a flirty vibe in summertime, a vibe that I never felt in London. If salaries weren't low and taxes so high I would stay here.
When I think about it I think it is linked, salaries and taxes impact the dating scene, France being a socialist country, it is not difficult to have a decent life with a medium salary, forget about big moneys but just enough to enjoy life, which means people are less focused on money as they know it is difficult to get a lot. In London almost all women are very interested in your material situation, work, social status...to me a woman who loves too much money is a big turn off.

I am coming back in few days and really gotta find a way to enjoy London or I won't last long, as many men here women are extremely important to me, It is one of the most important criteria for me to enjoy a country, I have been in touch with a couple of latina women on tinder but their attitude was as bad as the others.

This is another problem, I love latina women but the ones living in their country are genuinly kind, warm and caring. There is nightlife and shopping in Canary Wharf and you can also hit Central London in 15 minutes. Central London is not the best place to pull BTW, so no worries. And you can always pull some Canary Wharf sluts back to your place after Friday drinks.

To be honest you can live anywhere in London (zone 1-3/4) as long as you're close to transport (tube) connections. Working in Canary Wharf you can reasonably live in Bermondsey, London Bridge, Tower Hill, or if you are ready to commute maybe Finchley. You can live in Canary Wharf itself but it's far out from many night/Daygame spots and bars / clubs of central/Shoreditch / Dalston etc
