One thing that has always bothered me over the years with trying to use online reports and such to learn how to deal with situations out in the field is that noone provides any sort of detail on how they got from A to B.

I'll be reading field reports here and people are like "I brought her to my room, we laid on the bed and I showed her my photos. We started making out after a little bit of cuddling..."

Wait...wait..wait a minute. You skipped over literally every single important detail. I could try to do what you exactly did and get absolutely blown out. What you exactly did and what you exactly said means everything. I'm already aware of what I'm "supposed" to do when a woman comes to my room. But it never happens how it's "supposed" to when I do it. The exact opposite happens when I do it (a woman shutting her legs and making up an excuse to leave). I need the actual details to learn something from it and find a way to adapt it to my own style.

Are there any posters on here known for posting more detailed field reports?

Good point, but I think a lot of what works and doesn't work is also in the body language and delivery. I could say the same things as West Indian Archie and still get blown out because my delivery, vibe and look are probably vastly different from his own.

I think if you were to post in a data sheet that you'd like more details that many dudes would accommodate you to the best of their knowledge.

Best bet is probably watching infields.

I think 'it just happens' is often true, but only when the girl is reallly really into you.

Like, the guy who said ''We sat on my bed and I showed her my picture and then we made out'' - I doubt he actually done anything special or moved it towards the kiss with some smooth gamey line or anything. She probably thought he was hot and so like starred at him in cloes proximity making it obvious that it's ok so go for the kiss and so he literally just went for it without saying anything or 'setting it up' in any way

It's impossible to fill in all the details of how everything happened from A to B in a field report on the Internet. So much goes on non-verbally and it's so hard to write it all down.

I'm talking about things like that moment when both start thinking about how much they want to fuck... their eyes meet, sex is on their minds, they hold that gaze, no words are exchanged, drinks are held suspended in midair between their mouths and the table... hearts pump faster, adrenaline spikes, and then the man calls for the check, and says "let's get out of here."

All this happens in two seconds. And it was a pain in the ass to write. Imagine trying to write out every little detail like this over a span of 1-3 hours?

No. We cut out most of these tiny, but important, details and give a 30,000 foot summary of what happened. It's easier and saves us the effort of writing entire novels.

The black man game thread has a ton of detailed reports if you follow along and I try to post detailed weekend reports in there where I can.

On the 1 in 5000 approaches where anything remotely interesting happens like a kiss or whatever, I really do try to be as detailed as possible - partly for my own benefit for when I read it back in the future

Part of the reason is because it's emotional to an extent.

You have two separate dimensions here.

-The technical process

-The emotions

The technical process is easy, the emotions are the problem.

And the emotions, the feel for it, the flow, that is what is alot harder to learn or teach.

It's just like when you ride a bike. You can get legitimate technical instructions, but you still keep falling off for awhile and you have to get the "feel" for it. You have to connect and integrate with the action and flow of the activity.

And that is something that I don't know of anyone around currently who is capable of teaching.

RSD probably comes the closest, but they suck at it.

You can learn the technical aspects but you also have to develop your own ghost in the machine so to speak, if you want to really be successful.
