Testosterone level 234 :(

^What is you level Ballr? Think about it this way: if your testicles or you pituitary gland for any reason are not able to cause enough testosterone to be produced then you may want TRT. Now how much is enough is subjective and in particular a stupid percentile range drawn from the levels of "non-obese men" doesn't really make it objective. It also may not be easy to decide whether your pituitary gland and your testicles are alright. (Although the former can be stimulated with Clomid.)

At 30 you're not going to fix a sub 300 t with just broscience remedied alone.

In fact, I don't think any of that shit works more than marginally.

It's worth looking for other health problems like a vitamin deficiency but I would be really surprised if you brought your T up substantially with anything other than fertility drugs or straight test.

It's at 251 (horrible, I know)

Facts

- I still get morning wood
- 27 years old
- Sex drive is fine, 3-5 rounds per bang on average
- Workout 3x a week (conditioning, lifting)
- Sleep 6-8 hours daily
- Eat whole organic, non man-made foods
- I took the test at 11:30 AM
- Still get anxiety here n there

Is it more effective to vacation away somewhere for a month with sunlight daily or just load up on D3? I am convinced social anxiety and lack of sunlight is the reason my T levels are whacky

I know this of course. Called the doctor and told him I wanted to get Testosterone without insurance coverage. I was told since two of my tests were above the minimum level, per FDA regulations they couldn't prescribe. Sounds like bullshit to me but then what could I have done. I'll see another doctor in another town and in the meanwhile will try to bring it up naturally.

Tell the doctor that you are depressed and that you are beginning to have thoughts of self-harm?

With such low T levels, I doubt you'd be lying and given that suicide is the major cause of unnatural deaths in men under 50, the doctor would not likely want to call your bluff.

I'm not sure that will even work. The doctor might just prescribe an antidepressant instead of a TRT regimen.

But I suppose it's worth a shot if you're planning to try at least a dozen doctors and see if one will go with TRT instead of referring you to a psychiatrist.

EDIT: Have you gotten your thyroid checked, too? If not, get a full thyroid panel and post it here.

I used an anti aging clinic in another state recommended by Birthday Cat and was prescribed T which is on its way. It cost quite more. And yes, I feel depressed.

Ballr, I know it's a tough decision but what is the main reason/symptom you're concerned with your low T?

Enjoy the inside of a cell if you follow this advice.

That's what they do in america now if you admit to something taboo, like thoughts of self harm, they break confidentiality and get you locked the fuck up.

If you're a low T man don't do heavy lifting. You'll just rip your spine and soft tissues to shreds. Good form won't keep you safe.

Exhaust all your options for raising T first. Dietary and supplement based options first. TRT if all that has no effect. Then lift heavy.

Until you have good T levels, do long walks. Run on dirt. Do yoga, pilates. MAYBE some high-rep, low-weight free weight exercises. Heavy weights + low T = really really unsafe, recipe for disaster.

You have to be careful telling a doctor that you have suicidal thoughts. You may be committed to a mental hospital and there you'd have to take any medicines they give you.

I had two of my thyroid hormones checked and they were ok.

Go find a TRT clinic and talk to a doctor who specializes in this stuff. I'm going to assume 90% of doctors will put you on TRT if you're in the 200s in your mid-thirties. That's stupidly low. Honestly, and this is no mark against you, but that's pretty much early death-mode as far as life goes.

I'm with Linux and Steelex. I sincerely doubt that just squatting, eating lots of protein and fat and that other stuff is going to correct testosterone that low. This sounds chronic.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

No prior experience with TRT personally, but something I recall reading suggested going to a local pharmacy, asking pharmacists there for recommendations of local doctor names that prescribe testosterone.

Bam, workaround to a resistant doctor.

Started TRT last week. The regimen is 70mg of test cypionate and 400 IU of HCG twice a week. Even after receiving the medications I was hesitant to get started but then I thought I probably have had low T all my life (telling from the symptoms, although they have got much worse recently) and if I quit TRT in future I'll probably won't feel much worse than how I feel now. Doing the injections myself is very easy. It's still too early to expect improvement however my appetite has increased and I may be a little less depressed.

I did a blood work before stating TRT and after 3 weeks of being on Clomd. Total T was 492, free T was 14.5 (decreased a little), LH had increased from 2.4 to 7.8 (which probably means my pituitary gland can still work but is somehow understimulated) and estradiol had gone from 12.7 to 19.9. I'm not sad about quitting Clomid.
